Tagging didn't work. I discovered this post by skimming the sub. Not sure why, maybe it works only in comments. Usernames need to turn blue, otherwise they are not "active". edit: just came back to look at this on a browser. Name tag seem to be OK, only didnt show up blue/active on my mobile app. Still didnt get notified though..
Visually, you can not differentiate the motors. They are identical on the outside. I realise that this is an issue though, and will come up with a solution for future production runs. Will take some time though, factory just finished a huge run before I came up with that plan..
You can measure the difference though: apply a known voltage (e.g 2V, to take it easy) to the unloaded (no prop!) motor and analyse the noise it makes. You need to figure out the frequency of the noise. There are apps for that on iOS and Android. I use this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.rcteam.rcheliheadspeed&hl=en Then divide the frequency by the applied voltage, and you get the Kv rating of the motor.
