For me it's Renotify. Easy way to set a reminder that persists in the notification bar until I'm ready to clear it. Not for huge lists or anything I'd use OneNote for. Example scenarios:
Bought the pro version 3 years ago and no regrets.
Simple notification reminder that can't be accidentally swiped away and even persists through reboots.
I use ReNotify to pin notes as phone notifications, meaning I see them every time I open it/get another notification. Handy for stuff I'm liable to forget like "call x at 10pm tomorrow night"
More a general life-tool, but ReNotify is the one app I consistently use every day. It's significantly better than a to-do list somewhere else (I've tried Evernote, OneNote, Keep, etc) because it's all stored in notifications, meaning they're always the first thing I see when I go to unlock my phone or do anything with it. I don't have to remember to open up a program/app in the first place in order to remember all the other things, it's just there in the notifications constantly until I actually do that thing and dismiss it.
On the same lines, ReNotify (made by a redditor) is one of the few apps I truly use every day - I put down little reminders that persist in the notification list, so that any time I look at my phone it refreshes my memory.
Renotify - Great app for making quick notes as notifications, even permanently if you want
Monospace - Very handy app for notes, which instead of directory structure uses hashtags at the end of a document to create folders automatically, even possible with nesting.
I Can't Wake Up! Alarm Clock - Been using this alarm clock for years now and it has an amazing developer who replies in a non-standard way and reacts to bugs. Also integrates with the Android alarm so you can just drop down the notification bar and hit the alarm to open up the app.
I used renotify in the past for things like this.

I use Renotify (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.liamlang.renotify) but there are other apps like that. It creates a notification that is pushed to the pebble.
Renotify might work. I use it a lot.

Maybe this could work? Can edit the app icon later?
I use renotify, i have the renotify pro though
I'll say as someone who is both lazy and forgetful, my favorite unexpected app to install on every Android device I touch is Renotify (or Notif, they're very similar)
basically allows you to create custom notifications that can say whatever you want, like "walk the dog" or "kill a man in Reno, just to watch him die."
It is great because it doesn't require a widget to fill your desktop nor do you have to remember to open Google Keep / Any.Do, etc. It's just there.
Just to clarify, I'm not a dev for either app, so I'm not sure which is better but they do essentially the same thing.
Here's an example
It's been done, by a Redditor: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.liamlang.renotify
