Scriptura bible. I realize it won't be for everyone, but it follows material design and doesn't look like something from the 90s. Dev is hoping to add more translations as licensing permits. Check it out.
I'm going to share a few apps I've been enjoying recently:
Scriptura, it's a super minimalist bible app, it doesn't have tons of features like note taking, FB integration, videos or more and this is why I like it.
Bring, my favorite app when I go to the supermarket, super easy to create lists on it plus has Android Wear integration.
Fender Tuner, it's become my guitar tuner when I don't have my pedal board around, it's super accurate and allows chromatic step tuning. Simple, minimalist, easy to use.
Genius, if I need to find the lyrics of a song plus fun stuff like meaning of the lyrics, story of the song, tuning and more Genius is the service I use. The users can add information to the lyrics like if it was a Wikipedia article.
Glasswire, incredible accurate data usage monitor, it's the only one I found it matches 1:1 what my mobile ISP says about my data usage.
iA Writer, a note taking app with Markdown built in, includes a super nice dark mode and has become my Notepad.exe app in my smartphone
Lifesum, it's been helping me to increase my water intake on a daily basis plus keep a track of what I'm eating, the fact that doesn't have any ads on the app made it my choice for this purpose.
Sync for Reddit, super fast Reddit client with beautiful animations, have to add that I love the dark mode built in for Amoled displays.
Today's Weather, I like how nice it looks on Amoled screens plus it has a variety of services to query the weather from.
Urmun - Icon Pack, I've found this to be the nicest icon pack I found that plays nice with almost any app I throw into my cellphone, I got it for free once at /r/googleplaydeals but if I could donate I would've done it already.
