If you have an android you would be doing me a huge favor to try out my free app, Shredsheets. It's for scales, modes, and a bunch of other stuff.
I was faced with a similar question to you a while back and started creating a resource to help myself with learning the fretboard.
The resource I made was an excel spreadsheet for deeper intervalic understanding of not just the major scale, but several scales and mode.
I posted the results of my initial efforts here here. One can also just download the original spreadsheet here.
If however, you're fortunate enough to be using an Android, I highly recommend you check out my free as air app called:
Through the settings permutations (key, scale, mode, tuning, highlighting, and string count), Shredsheets replaces thousands of charts and books.
Interval highlighting helps me to visualize triad and chord positions all over the neck, and I'm sure it can help you too.
