If you're looking for an app where you can point your phone to the night sky and the app will display stars, planets, orbits etc. on top of the live view from your camera, SkyView is second to none.
Works well, has a very clean and intuitive UI, easy to customize what and how much you want to see, easy to see more relevant info on objects, shows you orbits with time stamps and has a free version as well.
Where are you located and what time was it? You could look it up in something like Stellaris
Otherwise I use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t11.skyview to check what things are in real time
Those on Android or iOS may appreciate this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.t11.skyview
I used to use this on my iPod Touch and it's so good. You can see the ISS's and every other planet's location using your phone's Gyro.
It seems that your comment contains 1 or more links that are hard to tap for mobile users. I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!
