It's not like a huge deal what I do with it, but you can basically automate whatever you want it to.
He don't need a exit task because tasker it's restoring automatically settings. (only if it's vibrate - entering profile to silence and it'll go to vibrate again).
So I'm assuming you need. Wi-Fi connected (SSID) trigger - Enter task - vibrate.
Or if you want silence use this plugin - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nick.mowen.soundplugin
Looks like that app/plugin is "abandonware", last updated in 2015. So as Tasker/device/Android has moved forward it's become incompatible.
You can try to contact the developer to see if they can be of assistance. o
Or for a newer app/plugin I would recommend giving Nick's Sound Mode plugin a try as mentioned elsewhere here.
So when you'll receive a notification on GroupMe to be silent? I think you need to use AutoNotification and when it's intercepting a notification to trigger silent mode.
You'll need this plugin to - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nick.mowen.soundplugin
Sound Mode Tasker Plugin lets you toggle sound modes on lollipop+ When lollipop came out, Pent updated tasker so you could only set your phone to vibrate or none. This annoyed me and many others with devices from other manufacturers who left silent mode in the ROM. So here is a plugin to solve that! All tips and feedback are welcome!
I'm not sure about setting the device to silent without dnd maybe try tasker custom settings or the tasker plugin Sound Mode Tasker Plugin and as for showing the volume adjustment bar use the tasker action Media Volume and select display.
I use this plugin to manipulate ALL the sounds. It's awesome! Just make a task and have it call on the sound mode plugin and the sound mode profile you've created in the plugin.
One of the best ways to quickly change a ton of sound settings (ringer/alarm/system/etc) at one time is to use the Sound Mode Plugin.
You should look into the Sound Mode Plugin. It makes setting a lot of volumes all at once, and switching between those sets very easy.
I use this plugin. Works great.

You could try the plugin: Sound Mode Tasker Plugin It will put your phone on Silent.
I think that using the Display On/Off Profile context with the Sound Mode Plugin could accomplish this very nicely.
Yeah Tasker has issues with going to silent on later OS versions.
Try this plugin, should solve it.

Have you tried Sound mode plugin ?
I assume this is what you're searching for? In silent mode I have only LED, no sound, no vibration.
This plugin should do it. Works for me.
