If you're using Android then FotMob is fantastic. The best feature is the alerts where you get goal notifications for matches that feature your favoured teams and leagues.

There already is a very well-developed app on the market, theScore eSports. I've had it for a while and really enjoy it.
Hello, I hope you enjoy the house introduction. I decided to do Link0's interview as a feature more about Qiao Gu and the house and separate it from the player interviews that are more about the team's playstyle. Hopefully the interviews will be out tomorrow.
If you like the content, please consider following me on Twitter or checking out theScore eSports app.
PLEASE don't give ESPN more page views. Download The Score app. It's 10x better and doesn't encourage the trash that (the former) WWL has become.

Anyone using fantasy football manager can preview their team in future gameweeks. Not sure if it's on iPhone but I've used this on Android for 2-3 years and love it.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
This app pretty much covers all the sports I need.
I also At Bat installed since I get a free subscription since I'm on T-mobile.
I made a post on Monday about this app, Swish, I made for /r/nba and it got a lot of feedback and downloads.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I released a new version last night with some of the most requested features (Dark theme, hiding/expanding comments, more stats in the box score, portrait video player and some other stuff) included. Let me know what you think!
You can't sticky more than 2 threads at a time, but the Daily Locker Room thread has links in the self text.
If you're on mobile checkout Swish, it finds the live/post threads for each game
why not use an app that let's you keep track of all the competitions you want? automatic conversion to your timezone too. FotMob is great
TheScore app is great for mobile, someone here mentioned it during preseason and I know use it more than any website on the laptop.
Edit: links
I recently started using Swish. It has live box scores, reddit game thread and reddit post game thread for each game. I use it for casual checking of scores.
However, when there is big game which i want to read the play-by-play, I'll go back to theScore, at least for now.
The #1 football livescores app with scores, news, tables, fixtures and much more from Premier League, Bundesliga, Liga BBVA, MLS and many more. Has a wide range of leagues.
For watching highlights
If you have a smartphone, download the app fotmob, it has amazing audio streams in 4 or 5 languages. The link for Android is below:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobilefootie.wc2010
Dude, seriously - they've been talking about this change for a few weeks.
If you can't watch the LCS, but still want to keep track with the news - a lot of the esport-related apps (like theScore) would spam you with notifications about schedules, results and so on (you can configure what notifications to receive).
SofaScore is exactly what you need - it has dozens of sports, teams from leagues everywhere, an amazing level of customisation in notifications, and a great widget (and both the app and widget have a dark mode).
I searched for something like that for about a month, found it, and haven't looked back since!
Besides reddit, I have been using the Onefootball app and setting BvB as my favorite club team. It provides schedules, live game stats, transfer alerts, analysis and breaking news stories from various sources (including press releases directly from BvB). There is also a website, but I find myself using the app far more than the website.

I swear it wasn't me!!! But might as well link it

I hate SC, especially their app.
I use theScore. I find it to be much better, but at the end of the day it's all personal preference.
I feel the same way, though.
Yep, you can find it here.
I'm just now checking it out and agree that it's probably the best way to quickly get info and schedules. Paired with Liquipedia, for the juicy details, this should give me all the info I need to keep track of RL easily.

The Score app just received an update that includes Olympics coverage. NBC Sports app will have video streaming of the Olympics.
FotMob is good you would need to Filter Liverpool and English Leagues to get it on top of screen
If everything else fails ... use google now (cards)
also, for anyone that needs it, you can watch the game live on this app. it won't be streamed on pretty much any tv channels that are non domestic (anywhere but japan, saudi arabia, and quatar maybe)
A Reddit user made an app called Swish. Please try it. It's wonderfully simple, and it's a breeze to check game times, box scores, and game threads.

Use the third party Fantasy Football Manager app instead.
So much better than the official app I'm terms of functionality and I've never had any reliability issues.
I used to use the CBSsports app for Android but I don't remember why I stopped using it.. I use theScore app and it's pretty dang nice. You set up your teams and your preferences. For example, you can have it send you a push notification for ANYTHING Dodgers related. This includes breaking news, game starts, game endings, inning per inning updates, etc... Along with Dodger stuff, I get Lakers and Raiders notifications so I use the app year-round.
You should check it out, it's totally free too.
EDIT: Andoid link to app
I haven't tried it for NBA yet, but The Score has become my favorite for NFL and MLB since switching from Yahoo.
Yahoo is pretty clean and simple, but The Score updates instantly (instead of ~30 seconds for yahoo), has more of the sabermetric stats and they have their own beat writers for game and player updates as well. Give it a try when the season starts.
It's got 5mil+ downloads on Google Play. I use the Pro version, which has 10000+ downloads. I enjoy the app. Has a load of different leagues. Can also listen to audio broadcasts of certain games.
Fairly frequent updates as well.
"the more I watch and play Valorant the more I enjoy CS."
Love this !
To add to what they said I have the strafe for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.strafe.android ( idk if it's available in iOS ) to see the upcoming matches easily
SofaScore is exactly what you need - it has dozens of sports, teams from leagues everywhere, an amazing level of customisation in notifications, and a great widget (and both the app and widget have a dark mode).
I searched for something like that for about a month, found it, and haven't looked back since!
TheScore is what I use. Its Canadian and has just about every sport you can imagine, including top 5 leagues, MLS, Mexican league, nations league and WCQ, etc, not to mention other sports
Edit: link
I use sofascore which works across multiple sports and let's you select what events you want to be notified for, for each individual sport.
I agree the official FPL app is crap. If you have Android, this app is really very good: Fantasy Football Manager Shows next few fixtures with difficulty ranking, links to popular FPL websites like scout, geek, FF247 and others, links to podcasts (even allows you to add your own bookmarked links so you don't need to keep tabs permanently open on your phone's browser). Gets periodically updated with new features too. Occasional ads but imo not worth paying for the as free version.
Personally I use Chrome. Web app is fine just as it is. But if you want a specific app a lot of people been suggesting Fantasy Football Manager (FPL).
There's nothing that I know of that gives that much information. CSGO isn't really designed for use with external/3rd-party API's. If you're looking for live updates the closest you're gonna get is an app such as theScore eSports. That's an Android app, not sure if it exists on the Apple AppStore.
theScore also has an esports app, which notifies you about news on your favourite teams, tournaments, etc. iTunes | Play Store
I would hightly recommend FotMob. Free https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobilefootie.wc2010&hl=en or paid https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobilefootie.fotmobpro&hl=en
The Official F1 App, back in March. Cost AUS$41.99 for 1 year, but it's worth it.
Other apps since then, but all free, and a 3 month free trial of Google Play Music, which I will continue to pay for once the trial is over, because it's fantastic!
/thread
seriously, it gives you a ton of options on notifications and score updates - it always works and it is almost exactly as fast as ESPN or MLB's apps (for baseball)
edit: here are links to the actual appstore pages
Get this APP for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thescore.esports&hl=de
or this one for Apple: https://itunes.apple.com/de/app/thescore-esports/id969154564?mt=8
Nice LIVE-Ticker App for Dota2
I use Onefootball on Android.
24 hours before the match starts, I get a notification on match info. Some details, stats, previous results, injuries etc.
On match day,
Match start/end notification
Goal notification
Halftime notification
Also there's news and other stuff in the app. I've been using it for 2 years now and never found a reason to uninstall it. Google play link here.
Sorry, it's apparently called "theScore."
Hi,
If you on Android, I can recommend fantasy football manager which has the option to set deadline reminders.
Currently have mine set to '2hrs before deadline'.
Link: Fantasy Football Manager:- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
About the last one. It would certainly be neat to have direct access to raw sports camera footage and be able to select camera angles, however that doesn't really need augmented reality and could be done with a phone just as well. Which makes me wonder, are there any services that offer that kind of raw sports footage already? I never seen any of that, it's all just pre-cut before it gets broadcast, but I don't watch sport, so I might be missing the obvious.
The closest I can think of would be the F1 app, but that's just track data, not actual video.
Forza Soccer is the best really. light and fast. i use forza cause it lets me follow the Ladies team too
edit: the livescore app is a very nice alternative too
FotMob. Been using it since 2016.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobilefootie.wc2010&hl=en_US
Try this :-
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
I have been using this instead of the official android app.
Works brilliantly and the dev is very active.
Check out the App "theScore esports". https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thescore.esports&hl=de
It gives you live stats and notification and its free. You should realy give it a try. I am using it for over a year now.
Or the Free with ads version of FFM (Fantasy Football Manager) is here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
Both great but worth the money to clear ads. The functionality and extra sort parameters (over the official app) are great.
theScore is alright. Its not the best but it gets the job done...
This week I published my first app, named Swish (play store link). It's an NBA app that features live scores, highlights and reddit integration with /r/nba and all the team subreddits.
I'd appreciate any kind of feedback, both in the app (UI/UX and features) and the code (github link). Thanks!
I don't use the official app but I assume that you're talking about the FPL app made by Homemade Apps? It's the only thing I use - especially now when they have added current, purchase and selling price.
It's better than the official homepage 99% of the time. When you're searching for a player on the transfer market you can for example set both a maximum and a minimum price and increments of 0.1 and not 0.5 as on the official site. And when you change the team on the official site it's not always saved for some reason but on this app it's 100%.
/u/Dudew0 mentioned a great app already, but I just wanted to add that I love The Score app. I mainly use it for NBA/Raptors related news, score notifications etc., but all the major sports are listed.
fotmob is my favourite, prefer it a lot over Forza. pretty similar so you don't have to get used to it really
shit load of divisions, great customisable notifications, keeps you up to date with news/lineups etc, shows TV channels, can customise which leagues appear and in what order, favourite teams to keep them at the top all the time, new update lets you follow individual players etc, all round really good app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobilefootie.wc2010
Np dude, keep on keepin' on
Also, if you want to follow along from work/bus etc, get the app called The Score, Esports. Works well enough.
Well theres a major at 29 Oct, and right now there is The World Championship going on at http://www.hitbox.tv/efragtv Just a bunch of mix teams but it's fun to watch.
Think if you get this one phone app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thescore.esports&hl=no
You can filter it to LAN only if you want to see the real good matches.
There's multiple places to see the current score of a game.
http://esportlivescore.com/g_csgo.html this one right here is my personal favorite. If there's a GO game on lounge being played 99% of the time you can get real time scores on here.
There's the Score app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thescore.esports&hl=en) in the app stores (I know of Android, don't know about Windows or Apple), and it's so so. It usually only covers major games of top name teams (C9, Fnatic, TSM etc). Games like the ones tonight (AceG, Method vs Mort etc.) don't usually end up in the app.
There's HLTV if the game is on there, and the score bot works on your phone (android I know for sure). Another thing you can do, is see who's doing a live thread for the game. Most games these days usually have 1-3 people doing a live thread. Just open the link in a new browser tab and check it from there.
Not op but if you're looking for an all around sports app. Try theScore from the playstore. it has a nice simplistic dark design and good UI.
Here's what I do: set it up on a weekly basis and then set up an app (theScore app on Android works well for this) to notify me of injuries and which goalies are starting (I usually have 3-4 goalies) and I change these things last minute in the Yahoo Fantasy App. That way, you can set the lineup once but still keep on top of everything so you don't miss out on points.
Edit: Hmm turns out theScore doesn't do starting goalies...I'm not sure what I used last season then, but theScore works for starting pitchers in fantasy baseball. LeftWingLock and its iOS app works quite well if you're in that ecosystem, but I'm going to email theScore and see if they can add this functionality for my own purposes:D
if you have a smartphone you can get the app theScore eSports
go to LoL -> select the match FNC vs H2K and press the star -> the App will notify you when the game starts (you may have to check the settings on notifications)
was gonna suggest theScore eSports but that didnt have Hearthstone yet
Strafe has hearthstone results updated, they also sponsored some tournament earlier in the year. They also do other games. It has a spoilerfree mode, so you can just see when games are on and not the results if you so wish.
Same on Android.
First impression: The app runs a lot smoother than the old one. Though unfortunately the bigger font size leads to less visible information at any one time on the screen. (LG G2)
Seems like they have separate apps.
The app for esports.
The app for major sports leagues like NHL, NBA, NFL, etc.
If you are looking for an app to track live scores, i can recommend you Onefootball, which also keeps you informed about your team's social media stuff. Like this.
you can check teams and matchs, countries, leagues, and others.
check SOFASCORE App
I think we're in the same boat. I use Swish. It has some issues but I haven't found a better app to replace it for NBA stuff.
Football (or soccer for the non-Europeans) news and scores NEEDS to be consumed with
And for crypto
Best you're probably going to get is the official Formula 1 app for Android/IOS. During the race you get live telemetry data there. Looks something like this.
I've used it before and it's usually ahead of the live stream so it's pretty easy to sync with the world feed. Now to somehow make an overlay with it you'd probably have to install an Android emulator on your PC with the F1 app and maybe use OBS to make a pretty overlay.
For me just having it opened on my phone/tablet next to my monitor was good enough but you do you. Hope this helps :)

I think I found a worthy replacement:
theScore has most of what Thuuz offered and more. It's free and worth a look.

I looked at several others but theScore was way above the rest I checked. One app called TheAthletic is good for news if you're wanting yet another sports news app. (I did not pay the $70 annual subscription.)
SofaScore is quite nice and notifies you at the start of a match and when halftimes start/end (including current scores). No news though.
Haven't tried theScore though and I don't follow the sports you mentioned.
Hi all, I made an app to follow the NBA called Swish. Aside from the basic stuff like scores, stats and highlights, it features reddit integration, so if you open a game (say Lakers vs Spurs), the app will find the corresponding live and post-game threads on /r/NBA and let you view/comment. It also works as a reddit client for /r/NBA and every other team subreddit for general browser.
Link.
I use this 3rd party app on Android. Much better than the official app, never had any issues with saving changes. Developer is very active with updates.
Yes, I would normally do it that way also. But the sharing for this source is through their app - it's the app that's formating it this way
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fivemobile.thescore
The official Premier League app is buggy so we don't use that one around here.
Most of us uses this one - Fantasy Football Manager which is pretty good even though it's not official.
Another dev recently created another app called Fantasy Premiership Manager. It's for less features than the first one but because it's new. It's got a cleaner and more minimalistic interface.
It depends on your taste. I made a couple of requests for FPM and the Dev responded quickly.
OneFootball: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.motain.iliga&hl=en_US
It has a watch app that shows the scores, I don't think it sends notifications but you can see scores from the watch face. It's kinda shitty, but it works most of the time
Live audio commentary or just text?
I use FotMob which has great text commentary a d I thought no offers audio on some matches.
FOM's official F1 app, allows you to subscribe for a year or single race weekend. If you already sub to F1 TV then live timing is already included in that subscription - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softpauer.f1timingapp2014.basic&hl=en_US
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softpauer.f1timingapp2014.basic
Audio stream works if you login with this app with your Pro account.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
In the transfer tab you can for example filter the players more accurately and pull down and drag left and right to see their value and what you purchased them for.
SofaScore is great for game alerts. It updates fast enough that if I'm watching a football match on a channel like Univision Deportes that has a feed delay then I'll get the alert before someone scores. It's not really good for news and headlines, for that you're better off with Bleacher Report, Yahoo, or The Athletic.
I also use Tennis Temple which can be fun because of the included prediction game. However, UI could be better, the comment section is not moderated and therefore subpar.
However, the killer app for following sport results in general is SofaScore. It's fast and UI is polished, offers a huge selection of sports, countries, leagues, detailed in terms of stats presented in a sport-specific manner, and last but not least, the notification system is very granular. For tennis, it also includes ATP & WTA rankings and historical match data that's more detailed and better presented than in Tennis Temple.
Warning: The SofaScore's result feeds are blazingly fast which combined with appropriate notifications may lead to a spoiler if you're watching a match via a stream since you may be notified about a break, finished set or match before you see it yourself.
Like others have mentioned liquipedia and octane.gg are great.
For mobile i found Strafe: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.strafe.android&hl=en_US
It draws info from liquipedia and is really nice to use.
It's not YT (I have a special version of that with no ads) or instagram. The one I remember most recently (it's still doing it) is Fantasy Football Manager: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2
It's displaying both banner ads and full screen pop-up ones.
Edit: I should add that I use the http proxy rather than the VPN.
<strong>SofaScore Live Score</strong> is an app which supposedly gives you heat maps. I myself haven't tried the app but I have read about it on r/soccer once. Try and let me know if it works. Cheers :)
I used Live Timing from Formula 1 for a while:
https://www.formula1.com/en/f1-live.html
You can get a lot more data feeds from the apps, at cost:
Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softpauer.f1timingapp2014.basic
Dunno about iOS. The Formula 1 TV broadcasts I know (Sky in UK, Viasat in Sweden) don't break for ads during the race, that's nice. :-) Next year F1 moves to NBC in the US, right?
If you're on android, someone put out an app yesterday basically designed for browsing r/nba while the games are going on
It has happened to me several times and it's always infuriating (not this time though) and it's been when I've used the official website more than an hour before deadline and so on. The app is 100% though so that's all I use now (the unofficial app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.homemade.ffm2&hl=en).
I been making one for /r/nba for a while now. Started it for myself but decided to add more features to eventually release it. There's a beta version on the Play Store rn, currently features live scores for each game, then you can go to each game and it will find and show the live/post game thread and boxscore, /r/nba feed (and team subreddits too), highlights from streamable, standings and alerts when games are < 6 pts diff and < 5 min in the 4th.
It's open sourced on github too so any developers out there can contribute.
> apps that are compatible with the watch to the extent that it'll show up among the on-watch apps like Google Authenticator will do so automatically?
Yes, that's right. When the app is downloaded by your phone, it includes a micro apk that gets sent to the watch.
Is this the app?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.motain.iliga&hl=es
It does have a watch app.
If you go to Google Play you can cancel from the page that you would usually install from.
i.e. from a PC: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.softpauer.f1timingapp2014.basic
Or just the Google Play app.
(Android) You can download the Scores app, and in there you can go to a specific teams schedule and there's a download option. It adds all the games to your Google calendar!
I like OneFootball for that reason. Can tailor notifications to either Club and National Teams or specific Competitions. Or both. And I have tastes all over the map so it works for me
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.motain.iliga
Hey download 'theScore Esports' app from Play Store if you an android user. Great app. I can see pick n bans , curreent kill, current tower down etc all in one app live! It can even notified me the result on time. Who win and how long it takes to win, it will give you notification. But you have to click follow the match first.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.thescore.esports
