If you like the 4x genre there is Star Traders 4X. It's an empire builder akin to Masters of Orion.
Star traders 4x, by the trese brothers. Played it for a little but 4x isn't my thing. I'm assuming it's good cuz they make great games. I linked the free version, there's a paid one as well that has bigger maps, more tech trees, factions, items. Basically more everything.
Star Traders 4x (free, but limited without paying - £4.59 for Elite version. Worth trying, then add to bookmarks for next sale)

Star Traders 4X Empires is pretty good, haven't played rising empires but it seems okay
