The Enchanted Cave - $0.99 with no IAPs and no ads. If you're unsure if you'll like it, the original version is a free flash game.
There's one out there I'll try to find. I believe they released the first one for free as a promo for their sequel.
I can't remember the name, but essentially the bad guys drop crystals which act as permanent stat buffs. Every time you die, you lose all of your spells and weapons but keep the crystal buffs.
Every 10 floors is a shop. The dungeon is 100 floors deep.
It was relatively easy, but fun to play. I'm going to try to find the title for you.
[EDIT] Found it. The Enchanted Cave $0.99 (guess it's no longer free, sorry)
First off, love the name and GO BROWNS!
Second, if you don't want to wait for a sale as the other gentlemen suggested, and I do agree with his suggestion, do you like roguelikes? The Enchanted Cave is a decent one and it's 99 cents.
Edit: This one is better - Hell, The Dungeon Again! and it's also 99 cents.
Give us the genre of games you like or tell us a couple of your favorite Android games to date and maybe we can give better suggestions.
Edit 2: It would also help to know what device you'll be using. Blood Bowl has been on sale for a buck for quite some time, but it won't run on just any device. My Nvidia Tablet can play it but my Nexus 5 cannot. (And I haven't purchased it for myself, I'm just throwing it out there as an example)
Thing about tabletop gaming - and I am a tabletop gamer - is this: do you have people to play with reliably who'd get the setting and appeal of it? Just because you might have a group doesn't mean they'd take to it well, is the problem. Me, I liked VtM and WtA because they were both hilariously broken (seriously, werewolf fartpowers, who thought of this) and just plain hilarious by turns, but find that nWoD stuff takes itself too seriously for my liking...
That said, if you can get a group together, then just decide based on the type of story you want to tell. I think personally Changling's got a stronger hook than Mage in terms of character creation and the kinds of plots you can go with. Mage is kinda 'you're a superpowerd gamebreakery person but ANCIENT CONSPIRACIES oh shit' and the appeal is more about the setting, I felt, whereas Changeling is far more personal (you don't fit in ANYWHERE, try to find a purpose). What kind of stories are you into and can sell better? If worldbuilding is your forte, go for Mage, if it's personal plots, go for Changeling.
Anyway as for being interested in a dark setting to explore, I'm going to go a bit out from what you named and suggest Dishonored. Holy fucking shit, this game. The architecture is amazing, the exploration is fantastic, there is an actual fucking plot which you can actually affect and see the effect of what you do on the world, and I personally really like that there's no 'good' or 'bad' morality option, but rather a law - chaos scale. A ton of the 'low chaos' actions are also pretty unquestionably evil, too, which is nice, you know? It's not often that a game does that. And if you want to spend time exploring a city that feels like it's very solidly real and not just a series of pretty environments, it's hard to get much better than this game.
On a more just pure dunging diving get equips side, I would suggest The Enchanted Cave and its recently released sequel, The Enchanted Cave 2 (yeah, I know, not the most creative name) a try. The loot grind and balancing is basically some of the best that I've ever seen in a game, and it's actually really fun. The first game is a straight 'get loot get power' charge, the second one introduces way more styles and approaches and also crafting. Well worth paying for this one, trust me.
