If you're in college or school or just studying for some exam, check out Todait. It's simple but highly effective. I've only been using it since the last couple of days but it's made a big impact in terms of how I break up my schedule into manageable chunks.

Edit: I'm an idiot, spelt it all wrong.

My favourite tool to focus on studying and organise it is Todait. It's a bit difficult to find where every feature is, but once you get the hang of it it's so helpful!
You can set your way of tracking progress: amount (i.e. pages), time, percentage etc.
You can set your "off" days, the deadline, and the app suggests you the amount you have to do each day (but you can set it custom too). And if you skip a day it recalculates.
You can also set exactly the amount/study time you did each day. The app re-calculates EVERYTHING.
Try out Todait.
Note: All the links to apps are from Google's Play Store. Also, currently no app that requires subscription will make it into my system as I have no kind of any kind of credit cards. A one-time purchase app is more likely.
I have tried many apps but all failed at the end. Or I should say I failed using them. I have not determined yet the root cause but the nature of rooted Android and the need for personalization of everything that I use which runs in my blood may be to blame. ⚖️
No time tracker has served me well, except from Todait; but that's focused on studying and not.. managing projects let's say. I also have tried FLIP, but Todait had the real diagrams. I've also used Forest in the very beginning, but I ditched once and for all.
As for habit tracking the most notable apps that I have tried are Loop and Habitica. The former is simple to use and minimal, making it very likely to use it when I try to set up such system once again.
As to-do list apps go, I've tried the following:
Out of all mentioned, I have mixed feelings for Remember The Milk and Taskful. Microsoft To-Do and Wunderlist are highly likely to not be used in any future system. Trello and Google Tasks are kinda in both categories. Memorigi is very cool but IMO to make it useful you have to pay for it, which currently is not an option for me. Google Keep is for casual notes and stuff, nothing fancy. I tried Todoist but I only scratched the surface and left it there.
As I am writing this rundown of my experiences those last couple of months regarding such systems, I'm trying to rebuild from scratch. Here is the second screen of my phone as I'm going down this path once again, though with high expectations this time.
What I am looking for is two apps at the most that will help me keep track of my time, studying and other activities alike, keep me organised with to-do lists and due dates and not be a hustle to use.
What led me to nuking my previous system was the unnecessary extra work and it's poor design, as it consisted of four apps, making it more of a burden than a helpful and effective system from which to be more productive and organised, preferably based on tracking data.
