What is Reddit's opinion of Voice Dream Reader?

The apps (Apple, Android) do look nice and optimized for people who have difficulty reading. The up-front cost puts me off a little.

Voice Dream. It's an app designed for blind people to listen to pre-loaded ebooks. If you have the ebooks on your phone, you can load them on the app and listen to them, it's great. Sorry I'm doing a bad description, but here's the link and take a look for yourself

So it is 12 euros to buy on the Google Play Store (link), I wouldn't charge anything for it, I was just hoping to do some research to see if anyone would want such a thing and I could then make it to help folks out.

A vote for Voice Dream Reader. It will extract text from documents (PDF, MS-Word) as best it can then displays the text on screen, highlighting words as they are read out. For the user I know, they use their limited vision to listen and see the text at the same time.

Oddly it costs £15 on iOS and £8 on Google play store. I don't know if there are differences in the versions.
