This isn't a daw, but it might be what you're looking for. A couple of software instruments, piano roll and midi tracking that you can export and save.

Not happy with just using samples? Manipulate them, make them into something else. Be confident in exploring tools and techniques and you'll start finding your own methods and sounds that work for you.
Sound design. Design your own sounds using synths.
To find the key of a melody, play along with the melody using a standard piano sound, and learn to use your senses. Your ears and feelings will tell you which note "sounds like home"; THAT will be the key. You'll also be able to figure out:
How will you play a long? Use a midi keyboard. Or download WalkBand and use the piano feature: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamestar.pianoperfect
Or learn to write your own melodies.
It seems as though you are having the feeling that I have if I use presets on a synth. That feeling that it's "not really yours". Which is not true. You just need to decide what percentage of your final product/song should be entirely yours, mostly yours, and entirely someone's elses.
In other words, the overall song might be your creation, but:
> For me, the best music app for Android is Walk Band. It's similar to Garage Band on iOS; it has tons of musical instruments and multitrack synthesizers(Mixers) and it's completely FREE!
Are you trying to overlay two tracks?
Maybe something like this or garage band? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamestar.pianoperfect
I believe you are looking for the wrong apps. You dont need audio editor, you need an audio maker!! That can import and export other files and maybe convert them as well.
Look for BandPass by Lunar Labs. Its early access and free at the moment. It might be able to do this.
I know that this one can but I did pay for it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.singlecellsoftware.caustic&hl=en
Good luck!
I've been looking for something like it after Samsung's Soundcamp shut down. Walk Band is the closest thing I could find.
I'm using Walk Band
Check out Walk Band
This one is pretty dope
Try Walk Band. It's the best I've seen so far.
It might not be perfect, but what about this?
