I use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deathsnacks.wardroid&hl=en
You can filter the things you want to be notified of. The downside is, it's no longer being maintained (created by u/Deathmax), so new items will have their programmed names instead of their screen name (KhoraAltHelmetBP Vs Khora Delphi Helmet). Still very useful though.
Install something like WarDroid on your phone and set it to only make a noise when Vauban's parts appear as Alerts.
That's how I got the helmet I was missing for so long. If you're lucky, it'll happen at a time when you have some free time on your hands.
Yes Pwnatron was the first well known one. He stopped because he felt he'd done all he could, and was bored with Warframe.
After him was Deathmax, who did even more thorough datamining that included drop tables. He also created the beloved Deathsnacks tracker website and an Android app. During Deathmax's "reign", he also openly taught other people to datamine, so there were quite a few people active at that time. Eventually Deathmax quit too, and VoiD_Glitch and someone else started up (I forgot his username).
While the C&D may scare some people away, the vast majority of people here think it's within their legal right to datamine (which is detable), so I don't see why we wouldn't have "another VoiD_Glitch" in the near future. So far, someone has always come and picked it up. That is unless DE starts to be more transparent and makes datamining unnecessary.
Anyway, the main reason I posted was because the statement that /u/antioneflemming made is patently untrue: "he's the only one who cared enough to give the community the information". There have been many people who risked their accounts to provide this information.
Should be every day it changes to something new unless consoles are different in this regard. If you want to track it, this app might help you with that.

That's why WarDroid is better than official app - it allows to filter for specific mods, blueprints or other items.
For example I have set it to track for Corrosive Projection, Energy Siphon and Steel Charge because these auras sell well.
Only issue with it is that it is not maintained regularly so when new items appear you have to add them manually - I had to add 'Riven' and 'Kavat' (for genetic code alerts) into tracker myself since it haven't been updated since they appeared.
Problem is - this app seems to track 'Internal names' so if you want to get notified about alert for Gara Virago helmet - you have to track for 'GlassAltHelmet' because that is what it is called in game files.
(you can learn those names here)
This site helps you track alerts so you know when they show up and for how long. It will give you a much easier time to find out when particular alerts pop up that you may be interested in. They also have an app so you don't even need to be on the site to be notified of when a particular alert shows up. Just make sure it's set to Ps4.
Here. It's an android app. Low storage requirement. Has filtering on alerts. Made by the deathmax who made this WF alert website
They normally get upvoted for visibility so they are at the front of the subreddit, if you still miss them all the time I'd suggest using https://deathsnacks.com/wf/index.html or getting an app for your phone that can notify you when there is an alert for something you want, like https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deathsnacks.wardroid (which is by the same guy that made the website linked above). It always alerts ~3 minutes before the alert/invasion begins.
Of you own an android phone, I've found this app to be really nice:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deathsnacks.wardroid
It even allows you to filter out the alerts you really want.
Actually it's been 10 days since the last one: http://raidtime.net/en/game/tool/warframe/timeline/1/blueprint/bastet-valkyr-helmet
Get yourself an app (like WarDroid or similar) and set it to notify you when there is an alert for an item you want.
He only has the Android app iirc. Not sure what your options would be with an iphone / windows phone.
here's the link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deathsnacks.wardroid

It's one of the first results for "warframe" on the Play Store.
I hadn't looked, but the Deathsnacks page has a link to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.deathsnacks.wardroid
