Hey there. Don't worry, you got a perfectly valid SIM card. They took a photo of your passport because telephone numbers must be registered in order to work in Greece.
Your number is usually written on a sticker on the back of the packet you received. It should start with 69...
No, you didn't steal anything. You just got a prepaid SIM card. These usually come preloaded with a couple of € (but not always). To top it up, you just go to any kiosk (periptero) and ask for a Cosmote card. Then you call 1314 (IIRC) and follow the instructions. There should be an option to switch to English.
Depends. If you're on What's Up, you can download this app, else you can download the MY COSMOTE app. There's also a number you can call or text but I'll leave it to someone else to help you with that because I'm not on Cosmote and their website is extremely confusing.
What kind of restrictions?
If you need any more information, you can call customer support at 13888.
I have the same. The "any value top-up" must be the amount of credit your SIM has. She didn't scam you, it's not easy. You should download the app and have a look https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gr.cosmote.whatsup at the offered packets and keep track of your consumption.
Thank me later: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=gr.cosmote.whatsup
