I've used the audio book trick for a couple of years now and have been listening to the Discworld series (narrated by Stephen Briggs and Nigel Plainer). They are both great narrators and there are so many books that by the time you run out you'll have no problem starting over. I do recommend that you use a player with a timeout function (I originally used Audiobook Player 2 before buying Listen Audiobook Player, both on Android) so you can give the player a slight nudge if you're still awake, or have it fade out and pause if you're asleep.
That said, I'm not really relying on audiobooks lately. Found out that my sleeping issues where stress related, and since changing a few things I've had a far easier time falling asleep.
What happens when you click "deny" that permission request?
Also why would it have a launcher icon? It has no options. I have a few applications like that. GalleryCam being one.
I know there is a way for iOS. But unfortunately I don’t think there is currently a way to do this on Android.
However, I know for fact that multiple projects are working on making an android compatible mirroring system for Raspbian. One project is called MiracleCast based on the miracast protocol.
Edit: I found this app but it requires an SSH server be setup on your Raspberry Pi and it’s NOT Open Source, so use at your own risk. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=at.huber.raspicast

dont forget my wallpaper is for 19:9 aspect, if u want it in another aspect ratio you can request.
Have anyone tried the Aurora TV App?
I don't have the equipment to test it, and it scores pretty low, but it could be interesting to hear from one with the hardware.
Also, Sat>IP is only capable transport the raw DVB data stream, meaning that it would become the Android TV device that should handle the decryption in case one wants paid TV. Perhaps the CI/CAM in an integrated ATV would work?
Not pebble related, but Audio Book Player 2 does almost this. It detects lack of movement and pauses when it has been still for a set time. Works really well.
I use Media Studio for this. The feature is called "PNG Sequence" inside the app & lets you choose how many images per second you'd like to extract.
Not sure how many times I've recommended this app, but Media Studio is by far the most complete & full featured video editor I've found on the Play Store. The amount of poor reviews are extremely misleading, though I'm sure many are from people upset that the full version is a somewhat pricey $15 (it is a one-time payment, unlike KineMaster which requires an expensive subscription). I totally understand someone not wanting to pay that much, but the total lack of quality video editors for Android made it an easy buy for me at least.
No bullshit permissions & regular updates are also a plus obviously.
I downloaded his video file and this app. Works great but only on my home screen. Can't find a way to get it only on lock screen :(
You gotta figure this out.
What changed recently?
Maybe you updated the pi and then it broke.
Just reduce the photo size in your camera settings or use an app such as GalleryCam to choose an existing picture from your gallery and skip the rendering process that closes the game due to the lack of memory.
Sadly, this is not possible in Tidal. My suggestion is to use a remote app ( like this one) to interact with the TV (I know this is not exactly what you're asking for but I'm trying to be as helpful as possible).
For Android perhaps try ProgTV (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.progdvb.progtva) or Google’s Live Channels app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.tv)
But for card decoding, it’s fairly specific to the box. You can check satellite smartcard & key sharing forums. There are a lot out there.
android: download tubio and watch/stream to chromecast with no ads*.
windows/mac: download noxPlayer(android emulator), install tubio and watch with no ads*.
https://nox-app-player.nl.softonic.com/
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aesoftware.tubio
tubio also works like a normal browser without chromecast, and noxPlayer is to emulate android to use tubio in windows/mac
`*tubio shows an ad while playing on chromecast, you won't even notice them. It's worth the trade against the annoying ads these websites provide.
I would reccomend you take a look at ProgTV app, the fastest and complete in my opinions, and still ad free and free to use. I tried them all and this one works the best for me... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.progdvb.progtva
I'm intrigued by this as well. Googling gives many questions and worthless pr releases but very few answers.
One possible answer that I found was:

There is another native DVR app that is working quite well although it doesn´t support series recording yet. According to the devs this is coming soon.

Not nice looking, not easy to use but the most complete video editing app I have found on Android. Freemium model, if you like it deserves paying.
Media Studio
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kaushal.androidstudio
Zoom, speed and green screen are just a few of its superpowers.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samremote.view
(They have the same app for other brands of TVs, so you could just search something like "Remote for LG TV" (if that's applicable) in the Play Store, or just look at "other apps by this developer" in the description of the one I linked.)
Try ProgTV. It basically uses a Windows PC to replicate the HDHomerun functionality. Plug the usb tuner into a desktop and or laptop and run their software to stream it over wifi. At least that's what the app description says.
