I made a DND amiibo! (...well kind of). One of my DnD groups plays online on roll20.net, and I've been itching to print them their characters since I bought my 3D printer.
I decided since the minis couldnt be used on an actual table to make them a little bigger (okay a lot bigger) and more interesting by adding an NFC sticker to the bottom that opens their character sheets when tapped on their phones!
Here is Rei, my first attempt showing how it works! Also included in this video is one of my cats - who was super mad that I wanted to demo a figure over petting her.
I plan to take more pics tonight, but let me know what you think!! (You can also set the NFC tag to open discord, roll20, or to even roll a d20)
I don't think its illegal to stick something to a car in Australia. I am reasonably sure the cops recommended this to me one time.

> E2: Also, no stickers. I'm going to have to sign up to work the polling place next time if that's what it takes to get stickers!
I bought my own on Amazon and delivered it to my polling place this morning. It's about $20 for 1000 stickers.
When I brought them in, everyone was so excited. I think at first they thought I was some sort of sticker official! : )

Here ya go! 28 stickers for 12$ highly recommend. I had trouble with 13 b2 but 13 b3 they are flawless!!
Here is a quick and easy guide! And here is a link to some NFC tags you can use to make them - I wanted to link those because some listings are confusing but I know that these ones work, as I ordered them myself!
I definitely recommend clearly labeling the tags once you've made them, and keeping them in a baggie or something. Otherwise, chaos reigns! But have fun, seriously, they're great to have and make. My SO and I have probably made ~50 of them, it's ridiculous but it's very fun.
These are the ones I use.

Sounds like you already had the right idea with the A5 binder.
For the issue of it not being cute enough - personalize the cover in and out, add stickers, the works. You can also add a marker inside and glue a colored envelope to create a pocket.
For the "portable" part, I'd take a separate, thin A5 binder around, and just swap the pages quickly into the main one when I'm home / I have time.
For the pages breaking, you can get those reinforcer stickers (?) i found these ones on Amazon for 2 bucks: https://www.amazon.com/Avery-Clear-Self-Adhesive-Reinforcement-Labels/dp/B001M4SD70
This what they used to use for worn out spindle holes in the old days. Put 2 on each side of the hole: https://www.amazon.com/Avery-Clear-Self-Adhesive-Reinforcement-Labels/dp/B001M4SD70/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=paper+hole+reinforcements&qid=1661871134&sr=8-4
I’ve used the Avery labels for clothing and they worked well. link to the ones we used
I bought multiple sets of these for my kid in day care. I usually stick them to clothing care labels so they don’t bother LO.
A standard ring binder, dividers and a lined notepad will work perfectly. Whole thing will be a few bucks. Keeps everything in one place and is easy to keep handy at anytime.
Oh and a pencil and eraser, can’t take notes without something to write with and being able to change stuff is a godsend lol
Also you can get little reinforcer tabs for ring binders, keeps the ring binder holes on paper from tearing if they get used a lot these things
Put stickers with your info on your clubs.

First off, the 351MP uses roughly the same shell/buttons as the older 350M. From my experience, the d-pads on the 351MP and 350M register diagonals perfectly. No problems like the 351M.
Story time: I have two 351Ms and one had the tight d-pad, which I tried to fix by sanding the post. It worked, but I wouldn't do it again. You made the right choice to let it break in naturally. I sanded too much and had to build some height on the main board with tiny squares of embossing label tape.
Are you interested in the 351MP? I have more thoughts on it, but don't want to write you a wall of unsolicited opinions.
Love these labels. Wash well and easy to put on. I use sharpie on them.
Glad to hear you are enjoying your daycare! We adore ours and so does our kiddo. They're an amazing service that is absolutely essential and for the most part are run by fabulous people. I'd be lost without mine. Lord knows I've learned more from them on my motherhood journey than I ever have from my mom or MIL.
No sorry, but it is really easy.
I bought the blank NFC tags off Amazon (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B071KTC2J6), which are just stickers, and used the NFC Tools app and my Samsung Note9 to create and write the data to the tag. Then just stuck the sticker behind the QR code I printed out.
Dymo embossing tape. Provides a solid raised straight edge that sticks to the plastic. Scriber can then be drug lightly a few times with confidence and ease.
You could just take these NFC Stickers and stick it somewhere like on the side of the doorbell https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071KTC2J6/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_P46B0SX4K708K9AEA6Q7?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Coming from a mom with a child in pre-K, it looks like a fabric label with someone’s name. 3M makes some.

Great idea with the keys in the case. I also added a sticker with my contact info, just in case I forget it on the cart. Same stickers on all of my clubs. Highly recommend these little guys.

I’m awful at cable management, but one thing I did right was getting some sticker labels and putting those on the AC adaptor cables near where they plug in.
My bad haha. Idk why I said best buy. I meant eBay. But nfc tags are basically what's in the ammibo that allows you to scan the items into your game. These ones work perfect for the switch. https://www.amazon.com/NTAG215-NFC-Stickers-Guaranteed-Perfectly/dp/B071KTC2J6/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=nfc+215&qid=1571801287&sprefix=nfc&sr=8-3 and then follow this video on how to turn these nfc tags into "amiibos" https://youtu.be/Yy34n45mzBo you need to have a phone with an nfc scanner tho. Which iPhones do not have to my knowledge. So yeah just follow that video and if you buy some nfc tags I highly recommend the Amazon link.
The only thing you would need to worry about is how the managed switch is configured. It could be setup with per port VLAN. The easiest thing to do is use cable labels to mark which port they are plugged into such as this:
https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Label-letter-Sheet-Self-adhesive-Cable/dp/B01K6MJWLE/
Now you can confidently unplug all of the labeled cables and reorganize them.
When finished, you can sit back, admire your work and eat some cake.
not that it will help you now, but I literally just put these on my clubs and range finder because I'm paranoid about doing exactly that. sorry for your loss :*(

We use these and have been really pleased. We write the date on the bottle with sharpie, then rub it off at night and write the new date.
Jokari food labels. Found them on Amazon. We have then on our Nugget's Medela bottles. Let them set for 24 hours and they're good in the microwave, dishwasher, and none of them have peeled off on their own. Easy to remove and leave no residue!

Found out spoofing Amiibo was a thing about a week ago. Been getting back into BotW and thought "man, I want in on some of this awesome Amiibo loot, but lord knows I'm not paying $15-$50+ for each Amiibo."
I simply don't care about the collectible nature of Amiibos, I just want their usefulness. Read the stickied post, ordered these on Amazon, they arrived two days later. Downloaded some Amiibo .bins from NFC Bank, wrote to the tags using my Galaxy S7, and had Wolf Link, Epona, and lots of goodies minutes later. I'm working on getting the Champions to drop their rarer loot, and getting all the race suits in MK8.
It's pretty painless, honestly. The App seems to automatically scan your storage for all the Amiibo files, each one I've used comes with a nice picture, and it seems the uploaders encode names, game series, games and even type of Amiibo, so you can sort through the list if you have a ton. I started a new folder on my phone (just handling all this thru my PC at this point) and just dump the .bins in there.
I'm planning on buying these when I run out of my first batch, same seller, just more tags at a slightly higher discount. I would also like to do like some in the stickied post have done, and turn the tags into trading cards, with pictures, info for the Amiibo and just stick the tag to the back.
I don't do FBA but the information that I've read on this sub is that every item you send in for FBA needs to have a label with a barcode on it. My understanding is that it identifies the product and that you are the seller of the product. It needs to cover the original barcode and if you place the labels directly on the item/box it needs to be removable like these. These labels can be used with a laser or inkjet printer. Many hard core FBAs buy thermal printers as they find it faster/easier. If you are only sending in a couple items you can pay Amazon to do the labeling themselves. The poly bags would be for used items without packaging, unsealed items, if you aren't using removable labels, etc. Keep in mind that items to Amazon are going to a (dirty) warehouse. If the poly bag has a large enough opening (I believe it's 5+ inches) it has to have a suffocation warning on it like these.
I LOVE these.
I use them to label the baby bottles when I pump milk. They don't wash off much in the dishwasher, but you can use the eraser to erase the writing when necessary, and you just use a regular sharpie to mark on them.
