I just picked up a 2020 JLU a couple of month ago and yeah, the rain gutter problem still exists. I'm in New Brunswick and we get a fair amount of rain here too.
There is an aftermarket solution from JeCar on Amazon called the JeCar Hardtop Rain Diverter ABS Drip Rail Extension. I ordered them, but haven't had the time to install them yet. So I'm not sure how well they'll work. From the looks of the photos on Amazon they extend the rain channel around to the windshield and deposit the water there.
Not bad for only $30.35 CAD.
As for the Freedom top, I haven't had mine leak so far, and it seems fairly tight.
I want the subtle one too, was thinking about this
Thanks man, they're just some random cheap skirts I got off amazon🤣 I'll send you the link. They fit perfectly I didn't have to trim.

I’ve seen this one mentioned on Reddit a few times. I keep it bookmarked in case I ever want to buy it.

This is the one i installed but you can find others with a quick google search:
For anyone not aware install this, or something similar ASAP:

Huge weakness with the battery cables exposed in that area that large fast moving objects can easily penetrate the fiber/plastic protection Tesla provides for protection.

The Unplugged Performance one looks good and is functional - it improves aero at higher speeds so it reduces consumption on the highway.
It looks like around 5-15kwh/mi less on the highway with it from user reports. It can also be painted same color as the car so it doesn't look tacky. If course you can also make it tacky by wrapping it.
Another option is the front lip on Amazon from Bomely. Far cheaper, can get it in carbon if you want. However there's no claims about it improving aero (or users reporting any gains/losses) so you should only consider it for looks. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08BJVYC31/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_044Z6YKKF75PWGRBFS9F?psc=1
Last option - you can wrap the bottom of the existing bumper in a different color. I've seen a few people do that and it looks GREAT! There's a crease that runs along the bottom of the bumper that can be the end of the wrap.
I have the ZL1 Addons front and rear. They're very discreet, but do the job well. They look great and they're easy to install, but a little pricey.

yeah they used to use a felt material there that would get torn by ice/rocks, horrible design...i replaced it with this, been solid but only downside is it is quite a bit heavier: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08Q7T6NFG/ref=ppx\_yo\_dt\_b\_search\_asin\_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I originally wanted to wrap or paint it but the carbon fiber actually looks good w the MSM
Look the ZL1 guards, that’s what I got and I love the subtle look. Not as much protection as flaps but much less in your face. ZL1 Guards on Amazon
I've always like the yellow fog lamps/covers, so I may go that route if I don't add LED DRL to them.
I did add the lip. I had something flip up from the highway and gutted the guard that is usually under the front bumper and it made for a bit of an eye sore when you looked at the front end since you still saw where it clipped in. I ordered that off of Amazon. It's literally just a heavy duty foam/plastic that has really good 3M tape. Here's the link.

I went with these front and back. I like how subtle they are compared to the other ones out there. They came with a sheet that helped with mounting them. The rear ones were confusing at first, but it's three screws total. You have to remove clips from the carpet liner and use those holes for the screws.

Oooh. Yea. The interior lights. I was gonna look into a white light. I'll head over to Amazon to find the lights.
As for the rims, I'm not sure. I am definitely getting new tires, so I think it depends on that outcome. I actually like the rims I have. I'm unsure how different the 2012 is to the 2016 in that situation.
I am however also looking to get colored breaks(?). Make those orange. If I do that, my black and grey rims would be best left alone to help the inner orange show through.
I'm also considering one silly accessory. Devil's Claw Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00YO62YWS/ref=cm_sw_r_other_awd_2DAVwbEGT1Q12. My husband said we was going to get "rapter" to go on the end of my 'Veloster' name on the back. Not. Sure about that idea much. Haha
I kind of like the black and orange pairing it's got going. Especially since I have the orange trim seats and such.
Nice under lip! Did you happen to use something like this?
Was thinking about using it on my Accord coupe, but it's white and wasn't sure about the contrasting colors.
