If the various cleaning agents don’t cut it, I would try some automotive rubbing compound . Go easy, because like you I’m not sure how thick a bike clear coat is, but this is the go-to solution for paint transfer on cars.
Is it in spots or is it basically everywhere? I would start with an APC/degreaser like SuperClean. If it doesn’t shift it, they make dedicated tar and sap remover.
Highly recommend waxing afterwards as these products will remove any protection that’s on the paint right now.

This guy didn't read the directions.
"Use Honeydew Snow Foam for a touchless wash on your garage queen show car, or as part of your two-bucket wash on your winter warrior covered in salt, mud, and muck."
This car was far too dirty to expect this stuff to just magically remove it without any manual assistance. It is actually pretty highly reviewed on Amazon.
I just got this little number
Figured that with a 2 liter (or bucket) of water and this

Not an endorsement, but here. National brand, bound to be at least DECENT. :-)
Would these be the best sponges for removing bugs for a Tesla Model T front bumper?

Any bug sponges like this will work great with just soap and water. Or you can buy a dedicated bug remover solution. Also, I keep a 32oz spray bottle of Optimum No Rinse (quick detailer dilution of 1:16) and microfibers in my car to tackle bugs/bird poop before they start to bake on.
Also, once they are on there, this stuff is excellent at removing them.
foam cannon with chemical guys snow foam
then spray on the aero cosmetics wet/waterless wax to wipe it down
Will get the shit off your car. Just as a reminder, make sure to leave remover on for 5-10 min before scrubbing. I have a cypress tree that just dumps sap on my car. Leave it out for 5 minutes and I'll come back to sap flecks on it.
As /u/ramvanfan says, the shit is abrasive, so you will need to reapply a wax coat or a ceramic coat every couple of times.
This has yet to fail me using my vinyl applicator squeegee or even a fingernail. For paint I’d try the spray and a microfiber towel out, but if it’s super thick then you can use a rubber eraser wheel at low speed on paint. Buffing is usually required after, but a hand glaze on white should take out any major flaws you’d notice. If that wheel gets hot it will destroy your paint and if it walks it could get the window, so dumping 2 cans and a squeegee would be my first bet
I used this stuff on a p bass I recently completed (pics on my profile). Took ageeees doing it by hand, but very happy with the finished result.

It makes a huge difference in my opinion. The mild abrasives really take out any remaining haze or imperfections leftover after the high grit sanding/steel wool process. I only used the Nu Finish because I had it here at the house. There are a lot of scratch remover products for cars out there. Maguires has one called Scratch X. I may try that one next time. I don’t know though. The Nu Finish Scratch Doctor works great for me and has milder abrasives, so they claim, than other products. You can find it in automotive stores, Menards etc. here’s a link to it on amazon. Cheers, and good luck! I use this soap with the sunjoe foam cannon on a sunjoe pressure washer
I use 3M adhesive remover for this kind of thing. My wheels have adhesive tape from previous balancing weights. This stuff removed them fairly easily. I needed several applications and had to let it dwell for a few minutes each time. But it removes sticky stuff very well. If you use this, test on a small area first to make sure it's safe.
I live in Oregon and the bugs are horrible here. I have always had an issue with removing them because they get stuck on there pretty damn well. I did a bunch of looking stuff up online to find a good product that works because when I washed my truck last (one month ago) I didn't get a lot of bugs off. I purchased bugs n all and a mckees bug remover sponge, and wow was I impressed. I sprayed it on and let it sit for a minute and used the sponge and it removed everything really easy. Old and fresh bugs! I used it on the bumper, hood, grill, chrome, license plate, and window. I really hope my comment helps you out because i know it would've helped me when I was doing my research lol.
I use Honeydew Snow Foam and a Foam Cannon
I use the wax stick included with this:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00062ZJ4O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Just rub it on and buff it off until it's even, then cover with a wax. Not sure if you can buy the stick by itself I don't use the that wax.
Thanks I will give that a try. I was also looking at 3M 03618 Adhesive remover. Does anyone have any experience with this or similar products? I'm mostly worried about it damaging the plastic.
Stoners Tarminator is crucial if you don't have a pressure washer, it helps a ton on bug guts and just about anything else that's tough to remove from the front of your car.
It sounds like it is tree sap so the turtle wax would work or else try stoners tarminator. The image isn't working.
If you mean dead bugs then check out this thread
Use a clay bar with lube and or a bug sponge with some stoners tarmenator
Works best on metals, glass, painted surfaces. Test before using on plastic.
