Very patriotic, this legendary 1941 Jeep of the Fiat variety with his $20 knock-off Chinese fog lights bolted to the hood. A true American.
Yea, I dug up the amazon order.
Since I have the low profile turn signals (the ones in that picture sucked and have since been replaced). I wired the LEDs to the turn signal circuit so that when I turn the turn signal on, the LED on the same side turns off until I turn the turn signal back off. It seems to help other drivers notice me because there is an obvious change in brightness when I use the turn signal and it makes the front turn signal more noticeable.
I also added a switch on the handlebar to just kill power to them in case I want them off for some reason.
Those are bumper quick releases, It's a JDM thing but a lot of guys break the tabs holding the edge of the bumpers on: Like this from amazon
That is an EAG. The crappy powder coating gives it away.

I’m going to try these on my Jeep. Assuming this would work on a snowblower.

All arguing about stance aside, those bumpers are made to do that. They aren't bolted onto the frame/body they are held on by quick release fasteners. I'm only mentioning it because I just learned about these yesterday. The guy probably was expecting something like this to happen if he had those on there.
Some are for sale here if you don't know what I'm talking about: http://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Finish-Release-Fasteners-Bumpers/dp/B00JJYPATO
It’s a a knockoff Rubicon Steel bumper I ordered off Amazon. Comes with LED fog lights as well. Installation was super easy, I did it myself. Here’s the link:

It comes with red tow hooks but I swapped it out with the black ones from the stock bumper I had. It doesn’t come with instructions, but thank God for YouTube! Also don’t expect it to be in perfect shape, there’s a couple of scratches on the paint from shipping and some small gripes but it’s well worth the price.
Yeah these 8th generation civics have notoriously bad front front bumpers.
That particular has an FD2/Acura CSX front end and unfortunately if you want to do the conversion for it, you’ll need these from the respective car:
Front fenders
Hood
Headlights
Bumper
Grill
Headlight brackets
Radiator cover
Otherwise you’ll have to just do what a lot of us 8th gen civic owners do (including the guy in the pic) and buy a quick release bumper kit
Those are Demon Brackets. Got them off Amazon about a year ago. Here’s a link just in case:

The quality as actually really decent and the price isn’t awful. I still have to put a winch on mine.
Amazon, it was the only one that I felt matched the vibe of the truck. The quality is so much better than I expected. Front Modular Winch Bumper W/ Bull Bar For Ford Ranger 1998-2011 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VT5S8GX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_KJ12DF9SC544PD267752

eBay 🤷♂️ It actually fit pretty good, I ended up making the holes in the diffuser a little bigger to accept OEM style plastic clips so I didn't have to use self-tappers. I'm not disappointed, I put plastic trim cleaner on it and it makes it pop. I'm glad I went with the cheaper option, the TOM's seemed way overpriced and others mentioned you might as well go with the eBay or Amazon one too.
eBay 😂 I would post the link but they are sold out. It's the black ABS plastic one that fit really well actually. I expected some tweaking and it didn't need much at all. I was going to purchase the same thing off of amazon and went with eBay because it shipped faster.
This is a knock off of a better welded one that is around 5-600. I put it on my truck and I love it.

These shackles ^^
The transistor is labeled AHDA2 and the control chip is unlabeled. I realize the schematic is a bit of mess. I tried to keep the components in a similar organization to the board.
A quick Google search didn't return any good information on what the transistor is. The board came out of a cheap Chinese LED lamp, so perhaps they use a cheap regulator circuit w/ BJT(?)

Then attached the rings to those brackets!
Any chance you could hit me up with a link from your order history? That sounds like my kind of price.

With a stock bumper you could get these brackets off amazon. Idk if I would really trust them as recovery points but I’ve seen them around:

I have started to notice a trend (perhaps it has always been there and I missed it) Of older subaru's having the rubber bumper holder on each ends of the bumper.
Is this just trendy or do they have issues with the bumper falling off? or is it because you always have to take your bumpers off for some reason?
just curious because I have not yet had to take the bumper off my 2015+ wrx or my NA outback and it has never tried to fall off on me.
similar to the one you have and this:

That's it! And as far as winching goes I think I am going to place a 1/8" steel plate underneath the winch mount to make it a bit more stout.
I have that bumper, and just ordered another one for a friend of mine. It's a great bumper. Easy install, and you can re-use your factory fog lights without any real problem. I have a winch mounted on mine, as well as an LED lightbar.
FYI...there are a couple of manufacturers that sell what appears to be an exact duplicate of this bumper. I don't know if one factory in China makes them all and they just get sold under different brands. The Extreme Terrain variation certainly has outstanding reviews, but so does the same bumper from EAG which you can get for $30 less. Also note that Extreme Terrain will give you a discount if you message their rep on Wrangler Forum. When I ordered this exact bumper last week, they only gave me a 6% discount which didn't get the price down to the EAG version, but I bought from them anyway because they've been good to me in the past. FWIW, I also have an EAG bumper and have nothing but good things to say about their quality...but as far as I know, EAG is mail-order only so I'm not even sure how you'd go about dealing with any problem that you might encounter...with Extreme Terrain you can just call them up.
