Tesla Model 3 Model Y Neon Light Tubes RGB Interior LED Strip Lights with App Controller https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0899XBHMG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_344hFbN4FBRFN
I bought it with just the center console as doing the dash will make you do wiring that can void warranty, however the variant I bought is not an option with them anymore.
Thing to note. Tesla released an update that continuously runs the 12v cigarette lighter port even after you have left the car even with the extra features off (cabin overheat, sentry, etc). These lights plug into that port. So if you don’t manually press the button to turn them off or do it via the app ok your phone, the lights will constantly run. Hopefully they have an update that turns off that port when the car is asleep. Buuuut. It looks super nice. You can change to any color and hook it up to play to music. I reaaaaally dig the blue though. There’s a timer function in the app. We’ll post here to update on whether it actually works and turns off and on at appropriate times.
Also if you are wondering. It’s a very thin strip of transparent plastic with a thin transparent tube for the light to travel through inside. It does NOT stick out by any means during the day and is extremely unnoticeable. My family didn’t even notice it was there
The footwell LEDs? I actually pulled these from my old mazda3 before selling it they are cheap yet effective;
Govee Interior Car Lights, LED DC 12V https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q6CPQK4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_6WH3YDW44BC2VA3AGDDD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Overall this set gets a B grade from me; good brightness, basic features, excellent adhesive or comes with mounting screws which I never used. You can’t disconnect any wires to make running them easier and the unit cycles through the colors on startup every time no matter what you do (less than a second).
I plan to upgrade these to a better set, possibly with EL wire / fiber, once I get bored and need the project. For now these work plenty fine.
I like mine, but in the back you can’t really mount them correctly, I had to mount them on the rails of the driver and passenger seats and not directly in the center of the seat like they should be. Other than that, I really enjoy them! I bought these ones exactly: Govee Interior Car Lights, Car... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07Q6CPQK4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

i cut off the 2 longer strips, and added 2 zipties to each side along with the adhesive it comes with

Pretty easy to install and hide the cables. Was really pleased with how it looked
Highly recommend Govee interior LED stripes. App driven, 4 panels for under dashboard and seats and wires can be neatly tucked under moulding and seats.
If you’re adventurous you could splice the DC connection and wire it directly to your fuse panel if you felt comfortable doing so.
You can select any RGB colour and it also have dimmer and can play to the beat of your music should that be something you want.
Here is the link to what I bought off Amazon and below that is my car finished.

I had a 2016 Mazda3 Hatchback so you on luck! I installed the Govee Footwell Lighting to the Dome Lights. Everytime you open the door the lights would turn on. I also changed ALL interior lights to LED.
Regarding the headlights I changed them to LED which made a huge improvement. Just know that you will lose your Daylight Driving Lights but you can install a resistor to fix that.
Here are the parts I recommend.
Does anyone have any experience with this light kit?
I've been tricking out my new Model 3 and this is one of the last things I want to do. The shots look cool, but I'm a little afraid a kit like that might look cheap or feel flimsy.
I went with https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088JZTWQN?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The cords are long enough to make it up front if you route it carefully. There is a cover in the trunk under the spare wheel to exit from. The remote is nice and the app works easily.
I used these below theyre really easy to install and USB as well so I can still use my car charger. The quality was great on these and I tucked all the wires so none of it shows.
That’s true. The one I have came with a remote, and an app that I can turn it on and off, change color etc. and I just keep it in the little storage area right under the climate controls lol.
Here’s the link for the ones I have: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087JPV7LX?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I got some lights off Amazon very similar to this : https://www.amazon.com/Interior-Govee-Two-Line-Waterproof-Controller/dp/B07Q6CPQK4?pd_rd_w=aD1Wh&content-id=amzn1.sym.5e35f106-bdcf-4e89-a614-eed5d9662c63&pf_rd_p=5e35f106-bdcf-4e89-a614-eed5d9662c63&pf_rd_r=E2BCGR1WEKY6X0PZ25RD&pd...
😁 That’s Govee’s car interior LED lights. It’s pretty neat. There’s a “dedicated” place to plug it in that little space between the driver and the passenger. The lights turn on when I start the car and off when I stop the engine which is sweet.

I bought this set from Govee and installed it in my 19 Limited. It plugs into you 12V outlet, so doing a self-install is super easy.
Subuspeed GCS footwells are fairly popular but there's a ton out there
I have an Android headunit and bought these USB strips. Stuck them on under seats on the rails and under the glovebox and plastic trim under steering wheel. Plugged into USB port behind headunit and it works pretty well
Its actually cheaper than I remember at $20. Has controls to go to music and change color and I get it mounted near where my right knee sits in the driver's seat. Had it installed for 4 years on my current car, never an issue.

For anyone who doesn’t want to be limited to the OEM footwell kit setup (Bluetooth compatible, brightness & precise color wheel control, and hardwire-able), this is what I went with
🍻
Yep! Here it is. Govee Underglow Car Lights, Smart Under Car Lights with App Control, RGBIC Car Underglow Lights with 16 Million Colors, 2 Music Modes, 10 Scene Modes, Exterior Car Lights for SUVs, Trucks, DC 12-24V https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088JZTWQN/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Y95Z46R4FKJ6QX39HQEF
I got these ones and they seem to work pretty well, a few days in.
(Not sure on the rules for posting links on this sub, and I'm new here so I don't want to get banned - Apologies if this isn't cool, just let me know!)
My apologies, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08F9PF2Y5/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_V6YBK2JV0CC1RQMYNT3S Something similar to this, same concept.
And yes, true it does change. I am looking into programming this led strip to detect driving mode and display the right led color.

It was easy but very tedious. I was had to remove a few of the tires in order to make sure the placement of the lights were good. Took me about 3 hours or so.

Been hoping someone would ask me 😁
It’s the GOVEE Underglow Kit on amazon. Relatively cheap, super easy to wire up and install (took me about 2.5 hours with my OCD wire management and in 30° weather outside).
I have their interior footwell lights too so it’s all controlled from my phone app. I was skeptical how it would handle getting slammed into mounds of snow but it’s still holding up so far

The two light bulbs in the central ceiling lamp fixture are Hue Color Bulbs.
The three light bars on the right wall at the very top of the couch are Hue Play Bar lights.
The nebula/aurora/stars on the ceiling are from SkyBliss Galaxy projector (v1, but a newer v2 is better)
The moleculer structure lights on the back window are custom made by me, but they do utilize an RGBIC Strip by Govee (IC means Independent Control, very different than plain RGB).
Various LED strips made by Hue and Govee. Govee makes few car LED lights that have 4 LED strips that are only a foot long each. PERFECT for lighting individual cubes in those IKEA type Cube Shelves.
The head stand RGB light my Oculus Quest 2 is on is this IKEA one.
led strip lights added a lot of good light to the car https://www.amazon.com/Tesla-Model-Interior-Lights-Controller/dp/B0899XBHMG
you should also be able to get front/back footwell lights that run off 12v.
if you are particularly handy, you can make a relay so they only light on when the original ambient lighting would have.
