It's most likely caused by dust that got in the joystick during manufacturing. Try using sensor cleaner, you can get it on amazon or stores like auto zone or Home Depot.
Crosses to a 0986280102. I can get you one for $315.69 but thats not much less than http://www.amazon.com/Bosch-0986280102-Air-Mass-Sensor/dp/B00BHHKAB4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1428344570&sr=8-1&keywords=0986280102
This fixed my controller drift. No need to take the controller apart, just spray it on the sticks and work it around.
This fixed the controller drift on my quest 1 controllers.
This stuff works amazingly well.
I did not have to take the controller apart. Just sprayed some in the area around the stick and drift went away immediately. It’s been about three weeks and hasn’t come back yet.
Yes. Buy CRC (specifically this brand) mass airflow sensor cleaner. Take batteries out. Spray it in the thumb stick and work it around. Repeat. Let it dry for 5 min. That will solve your issue

Sounds like you may have controller drift. If you buy yourself some sensor cleaner it should fix it right up (did for me).
I don't know if I like that idea, you don't want the circuit board part in the gasoline. You should try to use a product like this If it is available in your country or something similar.
Can verify. My left thumb stick was drifting so hard it made most games unplayable. Bought a bottle of this stuff and dripped a bit into the thumbstick and it works as if it was new. That was three weeks ago and it's still holding strong.
Only problem is that I used like five drops of the stuff. I'll have this bottle for the rest of my damn life.
Edit: Here is the part I needed on Amazon. I couldn’t find it local but had it one day shipped and still spend under $25. Putting this here because someone will inevitably run into the same issue an stumble across this reddit post.
For the rough idle, clean the mass airflow sensor. This fixed it every time: https://www.amazon.com/CRC-05110-Mass-Sensor-Cleaner/dp/B000J19XSA/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=maf+cleaner&qid=1549668234&sr=8-1

In my personal opinion, the brand will not matter. $150 is too much. Here's the Bosch part (not third party) for $85. Supposedly this is the third revision of this particular part that VW released which is supposed to fix the issue for good. Years ago when the Mk4 Jetta was still in production, people would replace the MAF every 30k miles because it would keep going out. I guess this latest one lasts a good while.
So after some additional research it appears the later year I6 trailblazers do have a MAF sensor.
