I also have a stainless pole and, lately, have found it excessively slippery. This normally isn't a problem, but our dew point is significantly higher lately than normal. I'm wondering if that's part of it. What works for me even when it is this slippery is to rub a tiny bit of iTac into the palm of my hand and rub them together to soften and spread it out. Dry Hands hasn't done it lately, but I got this on recommendation from my instructor who uses it religiously haha!

My instructor has recently started teaching beginning pole on Tuesdays. She's amazing. She does Zoom classes all week. Until Shine Fitness in Las Vegas re-opened, I was taking 6+ classes a week with her and have noticeably improved: Jenyne Butterfly Zoom Classes
I used my plastic computer chair mat until I finally broke down and bought the expensive dot2dance. Dot2dance isn't that expensive, unless you're 5'9 tall like me and their largest size still isn't really big enough for you.
I got my barre on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07V47Q3D3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Should work for any height. It's very adjustable. The only thing I don't like about it is, because its not very long, you really have to keep your hand and weight in the middle of the barre. If you shift your hand too far forward, it's going to tilt forward. I wish the barre was twice as long just because of that factor, but you're right, it's nice that its smaller so it fits into an apartment. If you could somehow glue it or tie the legs down, then it would be fine. It's a super strong barre, I can put my entire body weight on it, it's just physics that if you get too far to the end of it, of course its going to start tipping over!
There's tons of barre types on amazon. I just wanted something sturdy and not flimsy since I'm a tall girl with a decent amount of weight behind me.
The zoom classes were better than I thought they would be. But I don't envy the teacher. Just trying to watch 10 different kids, all at different camera angles, is a nightmare!
Ballet Spinner $13 on amazon.
I used one of these for about a year before buying an Edea E-spinner, and it worked pretty well.
Obviously its no where near as durable and has a slightly different spin point, but then again, I've yet to find a spinner that I didn't have to adjust to at least a little.
I bought and installed a barre last month and it made all the difference. That and also getting a ball, some weights, and the double tube. I feel like I am more motivated to workout and the moves are exactly like at the studio. I’ve been doing a combo of live streaming and PB Go. I bought the barre from Amazon (Vita Vibe Single Bar Traditional Wood Fixed Height Wall Mount Ballet Barre System, 3 FT - 40 FT Long https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017MQH85O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Z72UEb762VWX8) and it was easy enough to install. I got a piece of wood from Home Depot (1” x 8”) drilled it into the studs in my wall and then attached the barre to the wood . It is solid, I can even pull off of it for stretches. I used to attend class 4-5x a week, but lagged when things shut down. Now that I have a great set up, I’m back to my usual frequency.

I admit, I have a soft spot in my heart for purple, and am in fact wearing a purple sweater RIGHT NOW. My favorite gram, she of dirty jokes, lewd comments to good looking men, and insane shopping sprees, adored purple, and wore it constantly.
I will admit, though, that I tend to choose things more for function than color, as I don't have a favorite color of my own. I have this which has purple in the listing, and all of the Friends series on here have purple boxes, but that's about as close as I get.
Purple is the color of royalty, so thanks, your Highness!
We used this (it is a big elastic band that you use to stretch and point your foot against, along with some crazier stretches that the amazon model apparently had to do to sell the thing): https://www.amazon.com/SUPERIORBAND-Ballet-Stretch-Gymnastics-Training/dp/B00J1QXDQ2/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1465793975&sr=8-5&keywords=feet+stretcher
