Is a laundromat convenient to you? If not, instead of a dishwasher I'd suggest a small 2 in 1 washer/dryer to tuck under the counter. On-demand hot water heater and in-wall heaters if you live in a cold climate. For furniture a quality futon that can double as a bed for overnight guests. I have these stools that can double as end tables, they're fantastic. Use risers under your bed or build a platform to take advantage of storage space. Various-sized cube/cubby shelves like these are great for storage and putting a TV on top without taking up too much floor space.

Damn, you're way ahead of me lol! Not sure I have any good suggestions in that case, other than those visionlab tapestries. Saw someone's trip cave with this cube and it looked great. And not really decor, but it might be worth investing in a teleidoscope.

Maybe consider a shikibuton (Japanese futon) for your sleeping surface. And as far as seating for guest maybe a bench along a wall or stacking stools

I have a skinny, awkwardly placed bar counter, and my mom got me some saddle stools to put there. Theyre chairs for when you need them, but pretty slim and don’t have backs so you can push them against the wall when you don’t need them without taking up too much space or being in the way. Depends on how often you’re gonna use the bar though. If you plan on sitting there often, I would be sure to get some comfier chairs.

If you’d like a recommendation on stools, I recommend these; sometimes they have three packs of this stool available for a bit cheaper but sometimes not. I’ve had several of them that I usually keep at the LFGS as extra seats where they get beat to hell, and the only problem I’ve ever had is that the screws for the upper of the two foot rings sometimes fall out. Otherwise, they are basically brand new after ~6ish years of medium-hard use. Link below. Enjoy!

Comfy and they raise to a good height. Our standing desks are not adjustable, so we needed to make sure it was high enough.

Totally forgot about that! Got it from Amazon, the 12" one. It's pretty darn spendy for just a nursery light, but has lots of uses. Waterproof, cordless/rechargeable, super sturdy.

oh yeah I forgot about that! It's "THE CUBE"! (12") We bought it a few years back as a festival accessory, but fit too perfectly to not use it as a nightlight.

It's pretty cool! It's waterproof, and sturdy enough to be used as a chair, and changes colors. Great for camping, parties, whatever.

check the size of the pole of the barstool. if you can remove the barstool seat, Id see if you could plop a office chair on the pole.
