400 blades, $32
https://www.amazon.com/Astra-Platinum-Double-Safety-Blades/dp/B001QY8QXM?th=1
They last about a week, a good bit less than gillette cartridges - but they cost about eight cents each.
For anyone not in the know, 200 organic Japanese, non-bleached cotton pads, $6.15 from Amazon.
Yes, 200 pads for 6 bucks. I've been using this exact brand for the last two months and the cotton is great.
If you buy them in bulk (100 pc), you can easily pay under $ 0.10 per blade (I like the Astra Platinum).
Hey - have you been checked by a doctor for eczema at all? Mine started on my hands around the time I first started in care (washing hands/bacterial gel etc).
I got a prescription cream from my GP to help with the open wounds but when it's not flared up I use a hyaluronic serum followed with a good hand cream (I love stuff from The Body Shop).
Link below to Amazon for the serum I use:
This has really helped my hands, winter makes the dry and soreness so much worse but I've found this reduces the pain and cracked skin significantly.
for spf to be effective you need to apply 1/4 tsp of sunscreen product.
this amount of sunscreen is ok for most but that amount of a moisturizer with spf can feel too greasy or heavy especially if you have oily skin. most people using moisturiser with spf won't end up using enough so won't get enough protection.
I recommend using a lightweight gel moisturiser and a separate sunscreen like la Roche posay Shaka fluid, etude House sunproof, or biore watery essence
I'm more combo / normal and oily.. mainly my nose. It can turn into an oil slick in the summer quicker than I can finish my face. This Etude House 'sunprise' is the best one I've found! It doesn't make the perimeter of my face too dry and actually helps my nose / cheek area control themselves.
I tried all the stuff out there for dandruff and then finally came across this...only need a small amount per shampooing. I was using it almost daily and now I only use it once a week or so...Nizoral Anti-dandruff
This is my favorite sunscreen. Not greasy, no white caste, doesn’t irritate my skin, and wears well under makeup.
Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF50+ / PA+++ https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WE3XGAC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_StK9Db2CYNGQJ
Your skin needs moisture. The extra oil it's producing is often times a sign of dehydrated skin.
What I recommend is a good lotion. Maybe a toner, too. And a face wash.
Try this:
Cerave hydrating face wash
Hada Labo gokujyn lotion (this is the toner) and can be found on amazon very cheaply. It's a very moisturizing product and is highly recommended by the /r/asianbeauty sub. Edit: Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist, 5.7 fl. oz. (170ml)
And my favorite lotion is Cerave lotion. However, if you choose not to go with that, just make sure that dimithicone, cyclomethicone or cyclopentasiloxane are somewhere in the ingredients, preferably near the first few ingredients listed. Also try Cetaphil lotion.
You wash, tone, lotion. You can repeat this day and night.
I do recommend a sunscreen, but at fifty, you might be less inclined and there are not any actives in this routine. If you're feeling spendy, you can opt for the Cerave AM lotion, which has some spf in it.
Vaseline is also good if the lotion doesn't seem like enough. Just put a thin layer on at night.
Idk your hygiene routine, but it might also help to wipe your CPAC mask down with alcohol every couple of days or every day. Even if you never have done so in the past, skin can change and by the sound of it, seems like yours has.
I hate to be that guy but the best shave I have ever gotten is from a safety razor. When I first bought it I got a handle and a box of razors for a total of like $30. That was about 3 years ago. Try it, and you won't go back to disposables ever again.
that sounds rough. eczema is a lifetime struggle for me but I've recently made some huge breakthroughs in managing it. is yours on your face? one thing that was helpful for me was this zinc soap. another was realizing that my place was extremely dusty and taking steps to ameliorate that.
It honestly sounds like you could have dehydrated skin and you should check out /r/skincareaddiction and /r/asianbeauty
Asian beauty was extremely helpful to me as I have almost completely restored my skin and it is so much better, plumper and brighter. I find that there are great, drugstore friendly priced products that you can use with an AB skincare routine, although the sometimes it might be harder to get products as quick, as most ship from Asian countries. One thing that has helped me is using a hyaluronic serum before I use a hyaluronic face mask. I use these twice a day (when I have the time, which is almost daily). I also use the hyaluronic serum before my mask, let it sink in for a couple minutes, put the face mask on and keep it on until it starts drying out (about 45 min, which seems long but I prioritize it). I then take the mask off and let it all soak into my skin for a couple mins, use the hyaluronic serum again, let it soak in and then out my moisturizer on. I've only been doing this for the past month and the intense change in my skin is absolutely ridiculous. These are the two products I use. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000FQUGXA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_ and https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IK8E6CC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_1Pq3wbJQ8VPVV
If you're worried about the price, you can buy bundles of sheet masks on Amazon for low prices.
They are, but I've found that the American retailers of Hada Labo charge a lot more than it costs to get the Japanese version from, well, basically anywhere.
Case in point, Ulta's Hada Labo Hydrator is $9 when it's half off for 1.7 fluid ounces of product.
Amazon Prime has the Hada Labo Gokujyun Moist for a little under $12 for 5.7 ounces of product.
I get that, this helps mine. Use it twice a week & let it sit for at least 5 minutes before rinsing. If I forget to use it for a few weeks it comes back so it’s more preventative than a cure. Safety razor will help too.
Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AINMFAC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_JpPUFb1XEVPPY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I've fallen into an Asian Skincare hole lately, and absolutely LOVE Hada Labo Gokujyn Hyaluronic Lotion Moist as a moisturizer for oily skin. It's super lightweight, makes my skin so bouncy and hydrated, is cheap and you can get it with fast shipping from Amazon.
You can order it from amazon.
I’ve never used the beauty samples and I didn’t know you could choose. I’m pretty sure it’s random. Sorry if I couldn’t help.
8 ct pro Klinge ist nicht wirklich teuer und du bräuchtest auch nicht jeden Sticker damit bestücken. Für die Abschreckung reichte ja auch jeder zehnte oder zwanzigste o.ä.
Try Nizoral it saved me from constant itchiness and scalp dandruff i used at least twice a week until i was dandruff free i highly recommend it. You can get it at target or walmart Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AINMFAC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DYZ83B252Y64HS6QXRQN
Throwing my two cents in - Japanese cotton is significantly better than cheap cotton balls.
You can get several years of J cotton for $6 on Amazon:
I always get my kanthal from lightningvapes.com and my cotton directly from japan on amazon.
Nobody in canada is even close to this kind of prices.
I see "crows feet" and I think "dehydrated". So.
1) Replace your exfoliant with CeraVe Hydrating facial cleanser. It's not going to feel like your face is clean for the first like week to two weeks because you're probably used to the very squeaky clean (stripped) feeling. But focus on how your skin feels about two minutes after you pat it dry - that clean-but-not-desert feeling is delightful.
2) Add a purely hydrating layer. Depending on what type of environment you're in, that might be Hada Labo lotion or a serum. If you're in a dryer area, you probably want a glycerine-based serum or lotion rather than a hyaluronic acid based one, as HA can actually draw water from your skin if there isn't enough in the air.
3) Consider a thicker night cream like CeraVe in the tub, Jason Gentle Basics night cream, or (again depending on your area) a thin layer of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) to help your skin keep the moisture in it. If you're in central California or the south - somewhere with humid air - putting your hydrating layer on, sitting for a minute or two, then finishing with Vaseline might be enough. If you're in Tucson, you're probably going to want something like the CeraVe in the tub or the Jason to add additional layers of hydration to your skin.
4) As /u/glittercrotch said, r/asianbeauty is a great resource. There are lots of skincare companies in various Asian countries that have affordable, high quality products that you can get on Amazon. The Hada Labo lotion is one, and you might check out something like the Hada Labo Skin Plumping Gel-Cream for your thicker cream step.
Amazon usually has good sellers.
Hada Labo Lotion: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BSNBO9O/
Sunscreens: https://www.amazon.com/Biore-Sarasara-Watery-Essence-Sunscreen/dp/B00LA6QEOE/
I've bought both and as far as I can tell, they're legit!
There is nail polish that tastes horrid on Amazon. I've been using it and it coats your whole mouth with nastiness. I haven't bit my nails in a week.
https://www.amazon.com/Mavala-Switzerland-Stop-Nail-Biting/dp/B0000YUXI0
I love looking at my nails now.. they at least aren't a hot mess of blood and skin anymore!
I usually replace my blade once a week, but probably could get more use out of it. You can get 100 blades for $7 on Amazon. That makes them about $0.07 each. That is not expensive to me.
Philips Norelco OneBlade Hybrid Electric Trimmer and Shaver, FFP, QP2520/90 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D328BG6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_2KF3TKBV2SQXJ1XT1K5G
I use one of these, bought at target for about 25$. It’s masc enough of a look that. No one questions, and the battery lasts for almost a week’s worth of shaving before needing a recharge! Blades last almost a month depending on how much you use it for area wise. Mine I use for chest/back/legs/arms, and I’m naturally hairy like Bigfoot, so I put mine through a lot of work. I typically change the blades every 3.5 weeks.
Honestly for an electric it gets a surprisingly close shave on its own! For my legs and back I don’t even need a second razor most of the time if it’s blade was fresh!
Just throwing out this ad for one of the best investments I’ve made in my personal grooming in years!
Tbh I don't think it's the percentage of hyaluronic acid that makes the Gokujyun lotion so great, but the molecular weight of it. The lotion uses a low molecular weight of HA which is more bioavailable, i.e. it will sink deeper into your skin rather than just sitting on top. The Gokujyun lotion actually uses 5 different types of HA with different molecular weights which, in theory, can hang onto moisture in varying levels of your skin. HA is also only effective in skincare products up to a certain concentration, so trying to maximize the amount of HA you get per dollar spent is probably going to be a waste of time at a certain point.
As far as cost is concerned, I got mine on Amazon for about $10. I'm really pleased with it so far and don't think I am missing out on any HA goodness because it's only $10.
Organic, unbleached cotton is the only hard requirement. In a pinch you can often find organic cotton balls at the store.
My recommendation would be this from Amazon though, it's cheap and works really great. I'm maybe halfway through a bag, and it's been 3-4 years.
Hado labo is inexpensive and wonderful. I have noticed significant changes in my skin using hyaluronic acid. I have dry dehydrated skin. Hyaluronic acid has helped to decrease my dryness when used after seven skins and before an oil and occlusive moisturizer.
Edit (to add): don't feel like you have to spend a lot to get quality. Hada labo is $ 10-15
hada labo (buy from Amazon . . . not this site. . . it's like $11 on Amazon) - thinner consistency with 3 forms of hyaluronic acid
hado labo - thicker consistency with 5 forms of hyaluronic acid
I actually use both with a mist before, between, and after.
I have combination skin, and my absolute favorite is Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish. It's effective, affordable, widely available (that link is for Amazon), feels light, absorbs well with no white cast, and smells citrusy. I've tried a few other AB sunscreens, but I haven't liked any enough to rebuy except this one (several times now). The only thing I can't speak to is how well it wears under makeup, as I don't wear foundation at all.
Philips Norelco OneBlade Hybrid Electric Trimmer and Shaver, FFP, QP2520/90 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D328BG6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_ORZpFbDHV07BE
Buy this anyone can shave with this. And move on from it.
I use Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF50 and like it! But not sure if it’s similar to Kiehl’s I’m afraid.
Since you pull with your teeth maybe you can try a no bite polish. It’s usually made to prevent people from biting their nails or some people use it to prevent their child from sucking their thumb. But I think you could also use it in this case to prevent you from using your teeth and mouth from pulling your hairs on your fingers. This is the product that I used to use to prevent mail biting. I would say that it works because it really tastes disgusting 🤮
Mavala Stop Deterrent Nail Polish Treatment | Nail Care to Help Stop Putting Fingers In Your Mouth | For Ages 3+ | 0.3 Fl Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000YUXI0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_N38D11HR72Q4S65YNHTT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
You might be having more breakouts because your skin is dehydrated and is producing more sebum to compensate. Leading to more clogged pores.
There's nothing super special about the ordinary. You can go to Marshalls or TJ Maxx and get a great HA serum for 5.99
I personally use the HadaLabo Hyaluronic Acid serum because it will last me for a good year: https://www.amazon.com/Hadalabo-Skin-Institute-hyaluronic-solution/dp/B013HHJV0C
For all of you nail biters out there- https://www.amazon.com/Mavala-Switzerland-Stop-biting-ounces/dp/B0000YUXI0. Getting braces was the only thing that cured me of nail biting- it just hurt too much. I had braces for 5yrs. My kids were thumb suckers (stopped around 8yr old!) and this was recommended. I would get it on my hands while putting it on their thumb- it tastes bad. Good luck!
The extra lotion treatment?
I LOVE the hado labo premium lotion.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013HHJV0C/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_b8P8Fb0Q2WFBQ
It is a base for all my hydration needs.
All the details on the bobbi body seem to fit what I describe the hado labo. It's a major hit on skincare addiction and it's been a staple for me for 4 years.
Amazon Although I did see that says but to be used for children under 3, so its only an option if nothing else works until then...
Well I buy them on Amazon. $5 per 200. That's 2.5 cents per sheet. They are charging 200 cents per sheet. That's 80* the purchase price. Or 8000% markup. And here they are: ORGANIC Cotton Makeup Puff, Medium https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TCD51A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_eWI4xb1H2CABT
There is a type of nail polish that you can buy that is specifically to aid in stopping nail biting! You put a coat on your nails and when you find yourself biting your nail you will be met with a horridly bitter taste! It is kind of interesting conditioning approach to stopping the habit :). Here is one that has good reviews on amazon: Mavala Stop Nail Biting
Could be one of the ingredients you don't respond well to it since they do add a bunch of other components to the formula. Anyways, best I can say is try Ketoconazole 2% which is prescription strength and requires you to go to your doctor. If you have insurance though they might cover the cost of the prescription for you, so it might actually save you money from having to buy shampoos yourself. It also comes in a lower strength over-the-counter in 1% where you can find it on Amazon it seems. Brand name Nizoral, but uses the ingredient Ketoconazole same as the prescription just lower strength.
He should see a doctor, it sounds like seborrheic dermatitis to me. He can try nizoral shampoo with no other products following (like conditioner), let it sit on the scalp for a minute or two per use. Here’s a link to get it off amazon.
I would have recommended this if you didn't. I absolutely love this stuff. It's by far the least greasy sunscreen I've ever used -- not that I've tried a ton of sunscreens, but after finding this stuff, I don't feel like I need to try any more.
product link via Amazon (US) for anyone who's interested.
Yay! I’m glad to hear that.
I use Cerave! But when my skin was super dry/dehydrated I started also using Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid lotion and it saved my skin and made it more normal than dry. If you’re interested, you can buy it on Amazon and should use it after you cleanse while your face is still a little wet. Then let it soak in - no rinsing required! Follow with moisturizer. On amazon here: Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist, 5.7 fl. oz. (170ml) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BSNBO9O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_8K4YBb80CSH1B
I'm not a Hada Labo expert, but isn't this it (Amazon prime)?
25 cents a piece? You can get a box of 100 Astra Platinum blades on Amazon for $9.30. That's what I use and love them.
You're welcome! Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner--the life of a toddler mum.
Not sure if you are familiar, but the Japanese and South Korean toners are great for adding moisture. Amazon carries some of the more popular ones like
Hada Labo Premium Etude House Soon Jung Relief Toner
But if those don't appeal to you, the best way to choose one is to look for something that contains ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid (or sodium hylauronate), or urea, and avoid anything with alcohol (or ethanol) and/or fragrance.
I don't know if there are any UK specific brands and I'm still on the lookout because I'm sure there must be! However, I've recently got the Etude House Sunprise one from Amazon, and I'm liking it so far. I'm 90% sure it's a physical blocker, and reef safe. Little to no white cast, and I'm brown so it would definitely show up. The downside is the price and the fact that it came wrapped in a tonne of plastic when it was delivered. Pretty sure the K beauty stores in/around Chinatown may carry it but I've heard their prices are hiked way way up.
Which one do you suggest for sensitive skin? I have a korean one this one I just need to find it lol
Hi! I have anxiety that can cause sensory issues and I completely understand where you are coming from. My best recommendation would be the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish. After about a minute you absolutely CANNOT tell it's on your skin. If you have any dry patches and you're using it multiple times a day, I'd recommend bringing a little bit of your favorite moisturizer and layering that with the sunscreen as it can start to dry out your skin unless you have very oily skin. It's an Asian sunscreen like everyone else is recommending! It's also fairly affordable (much more than a brand like supergoop) which is definitely a plus.
So when doing something like your face you lay it flat.
When trimming a spot you do not want it to catch, lay it 90 degrees and just drag it. It has at most minorly caught my skin (not cut it) only a handful of times. You can get a close cut with it too. Same as no hair? no. But almost none.
yup! I used to have a different serum that worked, but now I used the Hada Labo premium which is PERFECT (the non premium one broke me out :( )
https://www.amazon.com/Hada-Labo-Hadalabo-Gokujun-Hyaluronic/dp/B00BSNBO9O

this is a "hydrating lotion" in asian beauty but its used like a western toner. My skin loves it! Its unscented and helps draw in moisture.
Shave my head, and wear a goatee. I use a Phillips Oneblade with a USB charger for trimming the goatee. Usually use a DE razor for shaving my head at home, but when I'm traveling I just carry a few cheap double-blade disposables.
The Oneblade doesn't look that much smaller than the Wahl, but it is waterproof, pretty durable, and the battery life on mine is still fine after more than 4 years.
If you go to a dermatologist you can get prescribed an anti-fungal shampoo (I believe the active ingredient is ketaconozole). That worked miracles for my scalp. It came in a plastic bottle, but sometimes you need to look after yourself too. You can also find it over the counter in a lower concentration like in this shampoo.
You could also try a bar shampoo that has the same active ingredient as Head and Shoulders (Pyrithione Zinc) such as this one that I randomly found on Amazon.
Remember that seborrheic dermatitis means that your skin becomes irritated by sebum (oil), so keeping your skin/scalp clean is super crucial.
It's non-greasy & dries down quickly to matte. I have combo skin so it can dry out some parts of my face (alcohols), but I've never noticed an issue on the oilier parts of my skin & a lot of the reviews on Amazon are from people with oily skin. If you do end up buying from there just make sure when checking out that the seller is the official ETUDE since Amazon has fakes in a lot of skincare.
It's really too bad that it's drying on my skin because otherwise it's been a perfect sunscreen. Very light milky texture & no cast on my pink/pale skin which most other mineral ss have
Not as sustainable as safety razors but I've been using Phillips One Blade for a few years now. It gives a close enough shave and the blades last for a few months
Nizoral.. helps me a lot with my seborrhoea dermatitis, and I had it bad.
I bought my nizoral on Amazon, and I use it twice a week. My condition, disappeared entirely.
Give it a try, it's also good for hair lost too
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AINMFAC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_SB34QCTDYTMM2ED81YRS
I use a Philips Norelco OneBlade; it's about $35 on Amazon, the blades can be replaced (and tell you when they need to be replaced), it's waterproof, and it cuts pretty well.
I think as long as you don’t buy it from the “other sellers” list, it’s fine! I’ve bought this one a few times: Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist, 5.7 fl. oz. (170ml) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BSNBO9O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_8W6QDFYRWVMP3ESZ9TZG And it’s always the real thing!
I say first try Nizoral shampoo. Put a dab on a cotton ball and put a thin layer where it's needed and leave it on for like 15 minutes a day and it should be gone in a week or two. It does leave a sting if you leave it on for too long just so you know. I did it for about 2 weeks and the bumps haven't came back since.
Heres a link : Amazon.com : Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo : Beauty
If that doesn't work, try something with a chemical exfoliant in it. As long as your skins not super dry or sensitive. Probably a face wash, like Cerave Salicylic Acid Face Wash. Or you can opt for something like an acne-fighting cream thingy or a serum. It's very mild so you shouldn't have to.
I currently have the Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk SPF50+/ PA+++ that I bought on amazon! it's the mineral version. I'm SouthEast Asian and it doesn't leave a white cast on me, just a slight initial one but it does go away after letting it sit for a few minutes. This does contain some alcohol and fragrance but it does not irritate my skin at all or dry it out (esp for me as I have dry and sensitive skin too). It is also a milky texture but does not run too much. Not waterproof I believe.
I use a Phillips OneBlade. Best razor I’ve ever owned. Mine came with three beard guards (I just keep a chin-only goatee) and you can even get the newer ones with a pubic hair guard. (No shit you actually can).
The blades last about 3 or 4 months depending on how often you shave and the replacements are $10-15. https://www.amazon.com/Philips-Norelco-OneBlade-QP2520-90/dp/B01D328BG6
Make the switch to safety razors, you’ll live like a KING! You can have a new blade every shave, it’s 10.00 for 100.
Astra Platinum Double Edge Safety Razor Blades ,100 Count (Pack of 1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001QY8QXM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_6s.6FbAVSCPD2
Meh, you're better off anyways. Get some Feathers or Astras. The Edwin Jaeger's are crap just like Sharks, Personna's, and the gazillion other brands.
Edit* Here's a 100 pack of Astra's which are just below Feathers IMO for $7. These will last you all year and then some. https://www.amazon.com/Astra-Platinum-Double-Safety-Blades/dp/B001QY8QXM/ref=sr_1_2?crid=3RN9LB502CY25&dchild=1&keywords=astra+razor+blades&qid=1607384033&sprefix=astra+%2Caps%2C236&sr=8-2
I love this Philips one-blade hybrid shaver. I just did some "maintenance" today and it was a breeze. No razor bumps or in-grows for me!
https://www.sezia.co/about this website is awesome I recommend checking your current products, for me one of the things that inflamed my fungal acne was shampoo so I switched Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AINMFAC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_SfzSFbGV470FD for my scalp and use normal shampoo for the rest of my hair. The shampoo is also great because the active ingredient and also kills fungal acne. I use it on my face and chest as well.
I use a Japanese (Rohto hadalabo gokujun hyaluronic acid lotion is Japanese, right? I should know where my products come from...) product, but you may be able to find it in Seoul. Or you can look for a similar product. The Hyaluronic acid is the ingredient you'd want to look for. It's very hydrating. I use it before a heavy moisturinf cream (cetaphil in the tub) and it helps my very dry, dehydration-prone skin a lot.
Amazon link so you can compare to local stuff, if you can see the link: Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist 5.7floz/170ml https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BSNBO9O/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_NPJnub06NJ807
I really have to disagree here. The flavor effects from the cvs cotton can be pretty severe.
I WOULD recommend the cheap, EXTREMELY high quality and easy to work with LABO cotton from Amazon.
Cotton Labo ORGANIC Cotton Puff Size M (200pc) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000TCD51A/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_DD5Dub1064X56
I've been building an average of 20 builds a week on this and am not through an 8th of the bags and it's less than $8.00.
It's as good as the KGD stuff, and absolutely a STEAL for the price!
I bought my japanese cotton on amazon 200 sheets for $5.93 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TCD51A?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00
It was my first time buying cotton and it's pretty good. Also just bought a Smok XCube 2 and been vaping using temp control on titanium wire. Found my wire on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/1054591077
And as for wire I get it on amazon from Lightning vapes on amazon
Linked to the Amazon UK one!
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rohto-Hadalabo-Gokujyn-Hyaluronic-Lotion/dp/B000FQUGXA
This is the one I'd recommend as you have oily skin. There is an orange bottle which is the premium version for extra hydration. But given it's coming up to summer as well I think you're better off starting with the original.
Zinc pyrithione is actually good for eczema and dry skin! At least according to wikipedia because it's anti-fungal. But you should probably try to find another option than head and shoulders then, I know there are lot on amazon like this one with good reviews :)
Is this the Hada Labo product that everyone talks about on here?
or is it this one?
https://www.amazon.com/Hada-Labo-Hadalabo-Gokujun-Hyaluronic/dp/B00BSNBO9O/ref=dp_ob_title_hpc
I've only ordered electronics, books, etc from Amazon, never a face product. It's legit and safe? Do you guys order it from somewhere else?
And even though it's a toner, can I substitute it as a moisturizer since my skin doesn't have any issues with dryness?
Thanks!
Amazon. Let me link you. I ordered through Nippon Store, and the way they put their declaration label, it acts as a tamper label. Fucking amazing.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000TCD51A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
As another Canadian I find Amazon is the best source.
First I can tell you went to Shoppers where you got the brush and Proraso. 2nd don't buy the Body Shop stuff, its weird.
On Amazon Astra is the best bang for the buck on blades.
And for a Razor the Edwin Jagger De89bl is quite good.
Both of these are Prime eligible or free shipping on purchases over $25.
I'm interested in buying the Hadalabo lotion but there are two different versions being offered on Amazon:
The older version (more expensive)
Is there any benefit in buying the older version?
I'm seconding the recommendation for the Hada Labo lotion as a thin layer underneath another moisturiser. That stuff is designed to suck water into the skin and holy moly does it work for dry, flaky nose patches! I got mine on Amazon but I think it might be in Target in the states.

For my face I use curology.com. It has worked really great for me. I'd give a before and after, but I don't want too much revealing info on this account, the name is a bit inappropriate.
For my back and a cleanser for my face I use this zinc soap. I had issues with bacteria and maybe fungus irritating my skin. Zinc stops bacteria and fungus. Here is the amazon link to the soap https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00G7TUDA0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It's a bit pricey for one block, but it lasts me about 6 months
It's on Amazon Prime for $15 here.
Amazon carries lots of Hada Labo. Drugstore.com carries some too. For Hyaluronic Acid this toner is great, though often it's on Amazon Prime:
Biore Watery Essence is popular sunscreen though it has a good amount of alcohol so it's not for everyone. It's lightweight though . Shiseido Senka Aging has way less alcohol if you are dryer.
Thank you! I bought the Noble Formula 2% Pyrithione Zinc Original Bar Soap on Amazon. I don't use it with much frequency so I don't know how much of a part it played in my recovery, but it certainly didn't hurt anything!
+1 For Etude House Sun Milk! This is my main sunscreen right now and is normally around $8-$10 on Amazon.
You mean on Amazon and not elsewhere (in the West)?
For a hyaluronic acid serum, Hadalabo Gokujun Premium Hyaluronic Solution is head and shoulders above similar formulas, and on a $/ml basis, beats most by 10x or even 100x the price on a per ml basis.
Around $12 for 170ml where you can pay $40 for 30ml for something even close in the West.

I bought this hadolabo from amazon back in February but never used it. I want to test it now but realise my packaging doesn't look like that but instead this.
According to amazon I definitely bought it from the first link however the packaging isn't the same. So what do i have? haha but more importantly would you trust it?
Examples available at Canadian drugstores- Aqualia Thermal Power Serum Vichy, Indeed Laboratories Hydraluron Moisture Serum
As others have mentioned, Deciem is a Canadian company and that would be my go to- The Ordinary has a very inexpensive HA + B5 serum, and then there is the Hylamide HA Booster and NIOD MMHC serum. These can be found online or in physical stores in some of the larger centres.
AB also has some great HA products- Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist is a popular choice, and readily available on amazon.
When I was researching AB sunscreen on Amazon, I've come across this inexpensive Etude House sunscreen. According to the reviews it's matte and works well with make-up. Also SPF 50 and PA +++! I hope this helps!
Is there an easy way to tell the difference between Hada Labo toners on Amazon (between light/moist etc)? I've been repurchasing it for a long time now, my first 2 from this link. I went to rebuy it again and saw that there's an updated version of it, but now the name says "Moist", which it didn't before. Does this mean I've always been buying the Moist version?
Nope! You can find it at a local drug store like cvs or Walgreens in the shampoo dandruf section or on amazon
As for the bra - you can totally wear one but once you do the first treatment make sure you are wearing clean bras after that. Fungal stuff is hard to get rid of 100%. But just wash everything in some hot water until the skin is clear again. Once it’s clear you can be a little more relaxed and just use the nizoral as a body wash every other day or whatever.
I got my current bottle on Amazon, I think this one: https://www.amazon.com/Hadalabo-Skin-Institute-hyaluronic-solution/dp/B013HHJV0C/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?dd=QM4OHIpkfryXP5Ru2Q5kDg%2C%2C&ddc_refnmnt=pfod&ie=UTF8&qid=1521655872&sr=8-1&keywords=hada+labo+premium&refinements=p_97%3A1...
It was Prime and the seller had good reviews so I went for it. Was happy. Before that I bought a different bottle from another seller on Amazon and it is also fine, but took about 1.5 months to arrive because it was shipped from Japan (I am in the US).
Etude House Sunprise Mild Airy Finish Sun Milk is my first and thus far only HG product ... which thank goodness, because if there's going to be a product I REALLY like, I'm glad it's a sunscreen.
I don't think it's waterproof, but it ticks all the rest of your boxes. I tried the Biore once and thought it was ok, but I broke out a little bit after using it, so I stopped. That might have been a coincidence, though. At the time, I think it also took like a month and a half to get it through Amazon, although maybe there are better distributors now?
Otherwise, my only other comparisons are this Andalou Naturals sunscreen, and the physical and chemical Neutrogena sunscreens. The Andalou one was ok but a little greasy, and the physical Neutrogena was thick and goopy and left me greasy and white-tinged, and the Neutrogena chemical sunscreen left me shiny for at least 30 minutes and stung my eyes/tasted bitter if I accidentally got some on my lips.
The Etude House is thin, so it goes on easily. It takes all of 10 seconds to rub in. It leaves no white streaks or tint on my skin. It smells good (although the scent is perhaps a little strong.) It leaves my skin matte all day, and it doesn't break me out. It's the first and only sunscreen I've ever used that doesn't make me feel like I'm wearing sunscreen all day -- and I'm super sensitive to having stuff on my face, to the point that I hate wearing makeup because I can feel it on me all day.
I use a specific beard trimmer, the philips one blade. Its a nice compromise between a close shave and risking knifing my genitals with a razor sharp blade.
My skin is only barely on the oily side of normal, but I really like Etude House Sunprise. It dries down nicely, never makes me feel oily or greasy, and doesn't sting my eyes or taste bitter if some happens to get wiped/sweated/dripped onto somewhere it doesn't belong.
I used Differin for a few weeks, and that dried me out really badly, and from that experience, I can say I wouldn't recommend the Sunprise to anyone with dry skin. It may also leave a white cast on some skin tones (it's mineral-based), although in the Amazon reviews, it seems like a fairly diverse crowd has success with it. I'm pale, but I haven't noticed any white cast from it, although I do get a bad white cast from some other mineral-based sunscreens (looking at you, Neutrogena.)

I've only used the Nizoral branded one. I think it is the most commonly suggested since it was one of the first. You can find it on Amazon and I think I've seen it at places such as Walmart as well. I alternative between my normal shampoo and this one.
Get puff organic cotton pads off of Amazon. They're the same price as the fasttech ones, but won't take 1+ weeks to get to you. The bag I bought has lasted over 2 years, and I'm only halfway through it.

Edit: If there is a Sally's near you, their Cellucotton rayon is really good too.
This is the amazon link for the Hada Labo Premium Lotion
But depending on where you live it might be cheaper off dokedemo or yesstyle (there are a ton of other places to get it off of, those are the two I’ve used and been happy with)
[You can get very bitter tasting, transparent nail polish on Amazon.](https://www.amazon.com/Mavala-Switzerland-Stop-Nail-Biting/dp/B0000YUXI0?th=1)
I bought this one off of Amazon. It's a bit expensive, but it has helped me stop biting.
I feel your pain. Never expected to worry about acne and wrinkles at the same time. Earlier this year I found a great one that doesn't break me out. I've used several made specifically for the face that say non-comedogenic, and they still fucked with my skin. I've been using Sunprise Mild Airy Finish for several months and it's fantastic - can't feel or see it. It's SPF 50 and $10 on Amazon. South Korea makes fantastic sunscreen. https://www.amazon.com/Etude-House-Sunprise-Finish-SPF50/dp/B00WE3XGAC
We use the novel on one blade hybrid. It trims just about as close as a razor and shaving cream without the need for cream or the chance of Knicks.
