Salt sticks finally solved my sleep cramping problems, but my game changer out there is this portable bidet. Never underestimate the value of a sparkly clean butt out there.
My boyfriend's cat makes the same face when I take our bidet sprayer off the holder. (It's this style, rather than attached to the seat.) He likes to sit in the bathtub, so I'll spray water from the bidet at the shower wall (the water is clean.) It's a game for him, because he wants to catch the water. Except he's also afraid of the water getting on his face, so he squints. Now he will squint when he hears me pick it up even if he's at my feet or under the linen shelves instead of in the bathtub.
You don't. Just get this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0108GMCWY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Open it up and clean the filter if it doesn't feel very strong. I couldn't imagine needing stronger than this one. I've tried about 7 different popular ones and this wins.
It works with water bottles too.
Sure thing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XP4HL68?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I would like to stress this was my experience with these two products. Nothing was wrong with them from a price or quality point. I just found the flow to be less than ideal to be effective.
They're talking about something like this:

I wish I would have converted YEARS ago! Now what sucks is when you have to go at another location that doesn't have a bidet... I'll just feel dirty and gross still...

Lucking, I found these! They work good for what they are, but you can't beat the real ones... https://www.amazon.com/CuloClean-Portable-Compatible-Discreet-Ecological/dp/B07LB7HRP5/ref=sr_1_16?dchild=1&keywords=portable+bidet&qid=1611292836&sr=8-16
You mentioned a bidet. I bought these a year or so ago. I can't vouch for how well it works though :D https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07LB7HRP5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I like that design. I notice a couple of differences from the CuloClean:
I think both designs would work. I am concerned about using a direct pressurized stream for two reasons:
For those who have used these designs, what is your experience? Is here a risk of getting shit on your bottle? Have you found it difficult to avoid spraying your pants in the process?

I had installed bidet when my wife was first pregnant. It cut our toilet paper usage down by almost 70%. I liked it so much that the started carrying a backcountry bidet on my hiking trips and I don't even carry toilet paper anymore.
After cloth diapering two kids, I tried to convince her that we should just keep it going and use cloth wipes at home to dry of after the bidet but she was not going for it. But I have a box of them down in the basement stored away for the day when we need them.
Hey man, whatever works! My daughter bought these for the ladies of the family. Goes on a water bottle. They love it.

I have severe UTIs. I bought a bidet on Amazon that connects to the sink and has an on/off lever. You have to run the water to warm up, but it’s been a lifesaver. It also comes with an attachment to hang from the toilet tank. SmarterFresh Faucet Bidet Sprayer... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E4H7DTA?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Ya tergantung seberapa cuek kl di tempat umum :D. Bisa bawa botol kaya gini jg. Kl gw minimal bawa tissue basah kl traveling, ga perfect tp much better dr pd pake toilet paper.
I have this one https://www.amazon.com/LEOKE-Portable-Handheld-Different-Personal/dp/B07MH48WHX/ref=asc_df_B07MH48WHX/
It works with my cnoc before 2L but I use it with plastic water bottles mostly.
Is it something like this, or which one did you pick?
+1 for the a culo clean plus compressed paper towel tabs. They are in a small TB ghost whale and slips into every overnight trip I have.
I definitely would’ve needed help wiping if I didn’t buy a bidet, I know this because I tried wiping before using it and it was very difficult for me (plus I’m already not very flexible). I got this attachment that you just put on a water bottle for $9.99 on Amazon and it was super user-friendly and so compact you could literally put it in your pocket! I highly recommend getting something like this if it is affordable for you because it was very helpful for when you have a limited range of motion. I hope this helps and good luck on your surgery!!
I'm here to help! I was in the same boat and nearly cried. Amazon has a sink attachment. It has a hose and it attached to the side of the toilet.

We mostly use these mini-shower bidets here in the Middle East. I prefer these because it's a bigger stream of water than other styles of bidet attachments (there's more than one brand- I did a search for "mini shower bidet").
Yo tampoco.
I got an electric one from Hibbent, it works well for me https://www.amazon.com/Hibbent-Portable-Bidet-Handy-Toilette/dp/B07LBV1QG5?th=1 Just an option
Practice just like with anything. Watch videos on folds. Practice the folds before you need to use it.
Take a deep breath any time you feel overwhelmed. There is a learning curve it is as with anything. I say start off by practicing and emptying in the shower. Less mess easy clean up.
Buy a hand held bidet so when you get ready for doing it on toilet at home. They also make them for travel, just water bottles. VENETIO Handheld Bidet Sprayer... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081MVKZQT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Poop itself isn't the problem, it's the toilet paper. That's what they're generally asking that you pack out. You might consider something like the following (test it out first though to see if it works for you)
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L448T4K?psc=1&ref=ppx\_yo2ov\_dt\_b\_product\_details
I use bidet bottle. I used to wipe my butt with toilet paper, but I use too much force and it bled, so I just say f__k it and use bidet bottle lol.
I live in an apartment and have zero plumbing nor assembly skills, so I went with a "bum gun." (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01E4H7DTA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apan_i_ZZW26BSCBTBQ5CST8T17?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) It's definitely a learning curve, but I LOVE mine. I have mine attached to my sink so that I can have hot water if I want. I definitely recommend this one, but also keep in mind that this is the only bidet I've ever used in my life (so my standards might be low/slim).
Or just get one that literally screws into the sink faucet.....like the one I hooked up last week to deal with my shit bag because a "regular" bidet doesn't work for a front sided asshole 🤷🏼♀️🤣https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01E4H7DTA/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
