that’s actually a bookshelf! the first time i saw one i was very confused and even more concerned, but my friend showed me its actually a bunch of small shelves. they’re pretty neat!

Thanks, yea I found this on Amazon too...I never really considered those because they seem to be pretty deep & that there will be lots of space once I slide them to the back but guess really my only option

Just curious but wouldn't it be nicer to have easier access to the books that you want to keep? I would be concerned about mould if stored away in a plastic tub.

Either that or get them up on the walls if you are allowed to put up shelves. Saves on floor space.

There are a lot of taller, but narrow shelves that should hold everything you have with some room to grow. Here's one on Amazon with a fairly small footprint that holds over 100.

When my kids were little, I had a massive shelf that took up a whole wall, but it was covered with a black "curtain" most of the time. Out of sight, out of mind as it were.

Also, I think you can be quite happy in the knowledge that we will not be getting another physical media format after this.

It wasn't spectacular quality, but it worked fine.

Personally, I think the mesh play pens are a little too small, unless the kittens are under 5 weeks old. I use plastic panels like these (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085Z7WVXR/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_TYSFERG4S9RQQ4X76N65) that can be reconfigured. I found some used locally for much cheaper! I start with a rectangle that's around 6' x 5', and when they start to climb, I turn the panels into a wall to keep them in my living room. Plus, the panels are MUCH easier to clean!

It’s tile baseboards cause we’re not rich lol but yeah we got lucky with the apartment were renting. Otherwise we would’ve had to put something along all the walls to make sure they couldn’t get to it. The door frames are wood still and they try to chew on those so we put a bunch of packing tape on them so their teeth slides right off and they lose interest. Not sure if you know already but theseare really good for blocking off base boards if you need.

When it comes to plushie displays I will always recommend the plastic/wire cubes you build. They're cheaper than bookshelves, easier to move, and customizable.

EX: if you have a really tall plush just combine two of the cubes so you don't have to squish the plush in or leave it out.

I know they're not for everyone cause they're not ✨pretty✨ but they are sooo practical

You can buy those same panels on Amazon for cheaper. The base I’ve seen on Amazon too but depends on how much space you want. I bought this one for $45. It contains 56 panels. Even if you’re not going to use all 56, you could make storage racks or make an extra play pen for floor time. I only prefer the panels without the grids because I had a piggy a long time ago that passed away from getting their head stuck in one.

It’s very solid wood, not IKEA type plywood, which was a nice surprise. So it’s very sturdy & feels high quality.

By my count it holds about 80-90 standard sized manga. So this is awesome for someone with a small-medium collection OR for someone with a large collection that wants an accent shelf.

I think it looks really cool & catch myself staring at it anytime I walk in my room. Like some of the comments have pointed out, if you have OCD it may be alittle too wonky for you, but maybe I’m just bad at organizing my books & you could do it better lol
