The recipe
1 Oz finely ground buds (this leads to some potent butter, which we use in a variety of recipes)
1 cup clarified butter we used this Ghee from Amazon
2 cups water (this depends on the size of your crockpot, can't really have too much)
1 crockpot: The smaller the better, if you have too much surface area you need to add more water to stop your weed from scalding (this burns off the THC) 1 fine metal strainer or cheesecloth
Instructions Add your clarified butter to your crockpot When the butter is melted, add your buds and the water mix well set to low heat for 6-18 hours, we have done everything in between but it seems the longer the better pour the mixture into a glass jar, straining out the plant matter with your cheesecloth or strainer. (You don't have to throw this away either, you can use this to as a garnish, it is not going to be tasty but it will get you stoned) the fatty butter and water will separate on their own. place in fridge until butter hardens when butter is hard, put a knife down the side of the jar and pour out the water (THC doesnt bind to fat so this is just waste) Thats it. Super easy
TLDR: Clarified butter + Crockpot + weed + time = really good butter
Yeah, I’m curious as to how powdered butter would change the texture of my cookies and cakes. I’d also like to see how it would do on hot popcorn, or mixed in with breadcrumbs for chicken Milanese. But it looks like it can be found on Amazon for fourteen bucks, with the added benefit of the peace of mind that comes from not giving your money to enrich an MLM’s upline!
Chez Amazon, il y a du BEEEURRE !...en poudre.
Everything I've seen says the smoke point of clarified butter (or ghee) is as high as peanut oil (450-485). I buy big jars of ghee on Amazon. That one tastes amazing.
No worries, they actually sell Delamere goat butter in the states, it's just really expensive compared to cow butter.
Spray margarine would work better for that. Pam actually has a pretty disgusting flavor. Spray some on a spoon and lick it off some time. You'll wish you didn't. Keep it to being an antisticking thing and not an adhesive.
I recently found out as well via Amazon here. I think it's a new product. Check your local grocer because it might be cheaper.
Ohhh! The stuff takes your fat bombs to the next level! Vanilla Bean Grass-Fed Ghee Butter by 4th & Heart, 9 Ounce, Keto, Pasture Raised, Non-GMO, Lactose Free, Certified Paleo https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00VXQGY64/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_7GFPNNVQJ4YNFSGG5DE9
That's weird, since this Hoosier Hill Farm butter powder says it has 4g fat in a 6g serving. https://www.amazon.com/Hoosier-Hill-Farm-Butter-powder/dp/B00DC5ZKQE
You can order butter powder as long as you can get delivery from vendors like this: https://www.amazon.com/Hoosier-Hill-Farm-Butter-powder/dp/B00DC5ZKQE
But if you can't do that, perhaps just buy jarred or otherwise ghee or clarified butter. It can be kept at room temp and would allow you to have butter topping or very good flavor in a much easier format than powder.
I've used butter powder when making a proximity of honey butter potato chips (Japanese and Korean craze) as a popcorn flavor. It turned out so so, the butter powder wasn't the issue it's just an odd flavor that only specific people liked.
Grapeseed oil has a high smoke point, which I have used to season cast iron. But so does ghee , with a nice flavor.
Maybe make your own powdered creamer? Both shelf-stable butter powder and heavy cream powder are available in bulk. Restaurant supply stores would probably have them at a better price, but those links are Amazon. You could optionally add a little protein powder, collagen, and/or your preferred sweetener, if you're so inclined.

I put this in my coffee with some nut pods or heavy cream and that keeps me full until after lunch. And it's got a lot of fat in it.
One pack is $16.78, but you need to spend $25 for free shipping. https://www.amazon.com/Beurdell-Finest-Quality-Butter-Pasteurized/dp/B00KWI368S/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_325_lp_t_3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=KEAANMD8SE95CXWMP04T
It's sort of an all-in-one coffee additive to achieve the bulletproof coffee effect. I found it after trying to do the coffee myself and ending up with the sequel to Deepwater Horizon in my coffee cup. It has all the benefits of BPC, with the ghee and the MCT, along with a bit of cacao to flavor it up just a little. I use that, along with a splash of HWC, in the morning, and it works great. It's a little expensive (as with most keto stuff), but I feel NO caffeine crash, and it helps keep me full until lunch, and probably past then, too. Since I'm basically sharing my amazon order history, I'll post that here, as well!
I promise, I'm in no way associated with the company. It's just really great for me, and I looked around, and tried it on my own, first. I also used this frother, to help keep everything mix together.
I love my coffee, too. I miss the sweetness, but the booster gives it a bit of an oomph that I'm now addicted to.
If you try it, let me know if you liked it!!!
You should experiment, since you have the keto chow money. See first, go to ryanmercer.com and click through my Amazon banner ;P then see how this tastes mixed in keto chow https://www.amazon.com/Hoosier-Hill-Farm-Butter-rBST-free/dp/B00DC5ZKQE
I have some, but don't particularly want to open it until later this year when I take some camping.
i get this italian goat butter, it's lovely. quite a bit cheaper over here in europe however compared to the price i am seeing on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Delamere-Goat-Butter-8-8-ounce/dp/B00O1A0E6U
Grats, stay strong and keep in there.
My breakfast this (and most) morning(s) was my coffee + booster but I also tend to fast till late lunch then I have a snack and a decent meal for dinner.
On day 16 this time around.
I mostly use land o lakes but I use ghee a lot too: specifically this amazing organic ghee that I get from Amazon (insanely expensive, but IMO worth it).
Assuming your office has a coffee maker, I brought a jar of Coffee Booster and a shaker bottle to work, and keep it in my desk drawer. I love coffee tho.
I really love this this ghee. Am Indian, and my mother confirmed that it's better than anything you can get off the shelf in India (we make our own ghee back home). It's delicious, with a wonderful nutty caramel flavor.
You could try adding Coffee Booster or something similar to your coffee. It's the fat from butter, coconut oil, and cacao powder. I've been using it for a while, it definitely helps fill me up and gives my coffee a nice mocha flavor. You need a blender or milk frother to get the consistency right, though.
3 tablespoons of heavy whipping cream - 1 tea spoon of coffee booster and sometimes i need 1 teaspoon of real sugar - ez-sweets is ok but i need that sugar in my coffee. Seeing as my breakfast is under 7 carbs total including the sugar - i don't sweat it.
Having trouble getting my fat in line with my macros, whilst not going over on carbs (and I can easily hit my proteins with powders etc).
Has anyone tried this stuff? It's pretty pricey, being along the same $pOz of olive oil. Still it would provide an easy way to take in fats without having to worry about carb intake at the same time, and I drink loads of coffee every day. Yesterday I ate a tablespoon full of straight butter to try and compensate, but i still hit my calorie max whilst under by 30g of fat.
Also for the record I use clarified butter, not regular. It's at most health food stores. This is the brand I use.
Most stores will have it in their ethnic areas. Look for Ghee. Whole Foods definitely has it, TJs, any other speciality kind of store too I'd imagine. Or just go to Amazon.

Good freakin' luck!!! You're awesome and you're going to rock the exam. I will send good vibes your way just for fun though.
Ghee, thanks for the contest :)
