Many states have passed the Restroom Access Act (Ally's Law) for people with specific medical conditions to have access to bathroom. You can also request for a card here.
In any case, I too have a similar set up, but in my car in case of an emergency in the middle of a drive. It's a bucket but with a toilet seat that you can get on Amazon
I just use a jug for the tent, but when I'm out and about I keep a Travel John in my bag. It turns your pee into a gel.
I had to leave the man burn a few years ago cause I was about to pee my pants. I almost had to stop and piss on the open playa it was that bad (I made it to the portos somehow). They are cheap insurance and they make them for men, women, and kids.
If you have room in your vehicle I would suggest that you get a lugabaloo. It’s basically a five gallon bucket with a toilet seat as the lid. It’s awesome! I live full time in my vehicle and I almost never use public restrooms. Granted I do have a minivan so I have a little more room. I just double bag it with trash bags and I use kitty litter to kill the scent. Works wonders! And it’s very comfortable too. It’s about the average height of a regular toilet. I sh*t and piss in peace errday.lugabaloo
Can't go wrong with a bucket, cheap, easy and effective, plus its always around when you need it for other things. They even make toilet seat lids for a standard 5 gal bucket to make life easy.

Thos ones the easiest if you're put in the sticks.
I'm about to invest in emergency mess bags for this reason. For vomit and if I can't make it the bathroom. The ones I'm looking at turn the fluids to gel and you can seal the bag and toss it. They're called TravelJohns
1) I fly over the great lakes in my 1968 Mooney M20F regularly. I ensure that my altitude puts me at about no more than 10 minutes of "exposure" not being able to glide to shore, I ensure that everything is running very smoothly before I hit the commitment point, and I know the risk. The 10-minutes window in cruise is not typically where things go wrong.
2) LIMG to LFKC is 96nm. That's about 45-50 minutes over water. If you're in cruise, and the plane is well maintained, I see that as about the same risk as (1) above.
3) Get these, and an old bath towel for cover.
I’m sure there’s some device you can buy for women but I can’t vouch for it !

Duh? Now you can pee everywhere. 😐
Urinals in the ladies would be a revolutionary idea. The queues I see coming out the door is always for the ladies.
You may have to add these to the dispensary machine for it to really make a difference though.

Just need the proper adapter. https://www.amazon.com/Urination-Silicone-Portable-Standing-Activities/dp/B086YGFJNK Often used outdoor.
For those of us without a penis, they’ve recently come out with various types of funnel like devices that are primarily for use when away from restrooms (out for a hike, on a drive with nothing around for miles, etc.), that enable us to stand and pee, instead of having to completely pull our pants down and squat. I have never personally used one, but I can definitely see how it would work. Your anatomy is obviously different than mine, but I wonder if one of the flexible silicone styles with a larger cup would be a viable solution? Here is a link for what I’m talking about: LINK
As a hiker, this has been life changing. Now I pee against trees. And never have to sit on a public toilet seat.
If you are Canadian, you can get these off the shelf at Canadian Tire, or off of Amazon like the link I provided.
While I commend your ingenuity, the fabric makes this impossible to clean or sanitize. Even if it was only MY OWN shit stains on the material... I wouldn't be able to sit on this more than once.
This snap on lid fits a 5 gallon Rona bucket:

What I would do in the situation you describe is double bag the toilet. Pack kitty litter in a heavy duty container. Keep 2 scoops of kitty litter, in the bag that's in the toilet. Do your business and every time, pick up the bucket and give it a "swirl" motion. All moisture gets absorbed by the kitty litter, throw another scoop on top when you do your business. No moisture means no odour, you need a tight fitting lid on the bucket like this snap on.
I'd have a second bucket for outside the vehicle. This is for storing your waste on site. So every night before bed, take the used garbage bag, tie it off, and deposit it in the waste bucket.
At the end of the trip you find a location to dispose of your waste as you see fit, and wash your buckets.
If this is the sort of trip you think you might be doing more often in the future, you can use one of these https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B004SFKJIQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 combined with an enzyme. You leave an enzyme block in the toilet, and you need to supply it with water. The enzyme turns everything in the toilet into a more or less low odour slurry which you can store and later empty into something like a gas station toilet, or whatever.
If you are really into this and you want to spend more money, you can start looking at RV composting toilets.
Personally I think those are your options,
>Naja es geht ja manchen Frauen zum Beispiel auch mal darum zu fühlen wie es ist im stehen Pipi zu machen.
Dafür gibt's doch extra diese Silikontrichter.
I used to live in LA but recently moved to OC. I was in Venice last weekend and had to use the bathroom - BADLY. The coffee shop I was in had no bathroom, the Starbucks had no bathroom and I had to use the disgusting public restroom on the beach. There were no lights after you closed the door and the stall was totally dark; there was urine and sand on the floor and the roof looks like it's rusted over with disgusting graffiti all over it. It was so disgusting I didn't even want to breathe, let alone touch anything while I was inside.
Anyway, that weekend I was in Venice was when I started to noticed that coffee shops that once had available restrooms when I lived there now had lock codes on all their doors. I just feel bad for the business owners as well as the employees. If I were a business owner, I for sure would want to have nice facilities for customers and my staff. But the public and the worsening homeless situation fucks things up for decent people.
Someone on here mentioned getting a little Johnny and I'm seriously thinking about buying some to keep in my car the next time I'm in LA. Sad but true fact about life in LA now.
I'm a male driver so I can't speak for how females do it, but I get a gatorade bottle (this is important, you don't want the tiny opening on a normal water bottle), go in the back, close the sliding door to the front cab, and have at it. Chuck the bottle at the end of the day when I'm at the gas station or something.
I know they make things for women that let them do the same thing, just go on Amazon and look up "she wee" for instance: they're silicone uh... "funnels" to let women pee standing up, with their clothes still on, etc, just like us guys.
When these become mandatory!
This is what I use and it works perfectly.
YTA. If she's in pain and holding her stomach, it's not pretending. Bladders and UTIs don't give a shit if you're in traffic or not. Some people can drink a ton of water and not have to pee for hours, while some could drink just a little and it hits them in 10 minutes. And don't be thinking you "taught her a lesson", she's not a toddler, nor is she a dog in training. I get that it's hard to get off at the closest exit when you're in traffic and on a time crunch, but to even deny her peeing in a bottle as an only alternative way to relieve herself "because it's disgusting" is shitty too. Grow up, you can clean whatever gets on the seat.

Apologize to your wife, and maybe buy her this for future road trips:

I use a luggable loo, it's for camping... I cut the bucket in half and use garbage bags in it... I cut in half to size down the height. Makes it easy to go #2 out and about. And if your finding your having accidents more often you may consider depends under garments. No shame in it.

Taking electrolyte packets is a great idea but they have quite a bit of sodium in there if you're sensitive to tastes. Gatorade may be a better option for you.... Also we go hiking and camping quite a bit. Squatting isn't always ideal so I bought one of these. It's weird at first but it's pretty handy in certain moments
