If you’re interested in a top warmer, my 3 wicks fit in these. The top warmer only melts the top few inches of wax at a time so my candles last for much longer than burning. You pour off the top layer as the scent fades. My candles last longer this way than when I used to burn them. You also don’t have the problem of leftover unusable wax at the end.

In case you need a recommendation, here is the warmer I recommend.
Whenever I do lanterns, I use a dremel to cut the bottom completely open (cut a big circle out, smooth out your rough metal edges after). This is also doable by drilling a starter hole and then using tin snips.
This big open area becomes my battery storage and also a spot for a wireless dimmer if you're doing that. Next, I cut a piece of 1/4" luuan/skinply into a circle that fits into the base, paint it out to match the lantern, and apply velcro to it and the edge of my remaining lip in the base. Voila! Removable base!
Next, I remove the wick and little holder thing. This can usually be pried off. If you can only get the wick out and removed enough other gunk to get into your opened reservoir, you can also just tinsnip open the wick holder to make it wider. Now you can insert either a 12v lamp base, a battery operated candle, etc. Because you have access inside, you can also decide to install a switch on the lantern base to allow your actor to turn it on/off.
OR...you can make your life really easy and convince your team to just buy an LED lantern. You'll find them lots of places now because of halloween, but you can always find them on Amazon, etc. https://www.amazon.com/Seasons-Rustic-Fashioned-Light-Lantern/dp/B00BLPSGG8/
I have this wax burner. The candles fit perfectly on the hot plate and it works great to get the last of the scent out of the candles. I have one in my office and I can usually get a week or two out of the big candles. My boyfriend has had the remnants of a Flannel candle in his office that he has been burning off and on since spring. It seriously just will not die lol.
I have tried to make wax melts, but they always have a sooty smell. I prefer the warmer method.
I have this same candle warmer. I love it!!

Got it from amazon, in case you need a link, here.
Do you mean the candle warmer lamp or the candle? If for the candle warmer lamp, I got it from amazon. Here is the link, hope it would help.
You can get it from amazon, here is the link to it.
The one I have and the one that seems to be loved universally on this sub is the Hestia warmer. They have 3 models but this one is the most popular:
It’s adjustable which is definitely an important feature so you can get the right height for optimal warming.
Sure, here's the link for the warmer.
Yes, I think the warming method is safer, since there is no open flame, and it allows me to control the melting speed. I got it from amazon HORUSLY, in case you need a link, I put it here.
I have a couple of these. The hot plate is the perfect size for BBW candles (I have "Midas" not 100% sure on the other styles) and I can also use it for wax melts when I feel like it.
I think the gap and wattage are the main reasons. Mine is adjustable in height, so you can adjust the gap between the candle and the bulb. It is from HORUSLY
after a couple of minutes you could already smell the candle as if it was burning!! of course this one’s a thrower but still, i’m amazed by this thing LOL.
this is the one i have! i love that it’s super simple. it’ll be perfect for single wicks too since the height is adjustable. i know you’re supposed to pour the wax once it starts losing its scent but i’m kind of a messy person. are there any tricks y’all have to do this with little error? LOL
The video on Youtube convinced me to get my own, and I couldn't be happier with it! The only problem would be pouring out the melting wax once the scent is gone. I have a white one, and it really fits my study room well.
I love my Hestia.
It’s a little pricey, but the timer feature and ability to adjust the strength of the light sold me. The height is also adjustable, but I stick with B&BW candle primarily, so that wasn’t a deciding factor, but I figured it’d be nice to have in case I did purchase candles from a different company that are taller. This thing also melts the candle pretty quickly, so I get a good throw within 20-30 minutes, a lot of the time even sooner.

It’s a little pricey, but I like that I can adjust the height, and I love the timer feature. You can also adjust the amount of light, as well.
This thing gives me a throw on my candles within 10 minutes, and the throw is definitely stronger than when I burned.
I got a candle warmer lamp.
Two of them, actually. I had the idea twice in the same day and didn't notice it was already in my cart when I went to check out.
My two favorite candles had burned out a while ago, one of them tunneling before I learned how to prevent that. I kept them around in case I ever need to remember so I can replace them.
I stick them under this lamp, and it's like they're new again! I can use up the last of the wax, enjoy them to the last of their potential, and finally declutter when they're used up, having completely served their role in my life.
For me a top warmer was the way to go. I chose the Hestia candle warmer
https://www.amazon.com/Adjustable-Electric-Candles-Stainless-Dimmable/dp/B09294WZH4
The reason I chose this one was because it's height adjustable so I can fit any type of candle under the lamp without issues and I like the timer switch. Good luck, I know you'll love warming your candles!
Oh woah! $200?!? Mine was only $75! And free shipping though Prime.
Here’s the link to this one:
The one everyone on here gets is on Amazon. They have a store on Amazon with all their holders CANDLE WARMERS ETC Beacon Candle Warmer Lantern for Top-Down Candle Melting, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07L8LWC3V/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_a_Y6Z483GN905Q270CQ8E0?psc=1
I finally got one because I was burning through candles (and $$$) so quickly.
I definitely recommend a top down warmer vs. a bottom up. I got this one and so far I love it! The height is adjustable. I put a new candle on it recently and even after using the warmer for multiple hours consecutive days straight, there is still so much candle left. Cannot recommend enough.
Candle Warmers, etc is also a good and trusted brand.
Have you looked at candle warmers like this?

The black beacon lantern should fit 3 wicks perfectly. You can definitely put a single wick in there if you want too.
