I put mine in a plastic bag to use in the shower. I also bought a $4 waterproof pouch from amazon that I used to take pictures in the ocean with. Totally worth it!
Edit- here's the link to the one I bought. It's actually $8 but still worth it imo.
I've had this Spigen case for just under a year and I have had no complaints. It grips well, it holds its shape, and, imo, it looks pretty sharp. $12 on Amazon.

Most covers that aren't "ultra thin" or "snap on" will do the job just fine. I'm using the Spigen Rugged (not Hybrid) case from Amazon and it suits your requirements. It's probably also one of the best covers I've had for a phone.
I run in the rain, unless it’s heavy downpour that would create dangerous conditions or poor visibility. Caution and keeping my eyes on what’s in front of me is how I prevent slipping. I generally slow down a tad bit too. Having good shoes with tread that’s not worn too thin is also helpful.
Ziplock bags, the water proof phone cases they sell for vacations on amazon, or the arm bands that the phone goes inside are good waterproof options

I was really frustrated by the clip as well. I ended up removing the case and attaching a $10 clip I got off of Amazon, it works a lot better and the pump isn't as bulky.

I found a middle ground between a LifeProof case and a thin Ziploc with something like this from Amazon, and so far so good!
You can try what I did while filming underwater. Get a pouch, I have similar to this one: Amazon and it works great.
Start filming out of the water and then submerge. It will stay recording without problems.
You can use volume rockers to take photos underwater or to take photos while recording.
EDIT: I found mine, I have YOSH brand, it is just perfect. I bought it after intensive research about underwater cases of all kinds. Here it is on eBay
No but if you buy a nite ize pocket clip it works too if you look on YouTube there’s test on how well it holds
I use this, it’s water prof and you can still use your phone sealed inside.

Spigen Rugged Armor, $12.99 off of Amazon, has Prime shipping (or Prime One Day with $35 ordered).
It sits higher than the camera bump (crucial to prevent having the chrome ring around the camera from getting scuffed), covers all the buttons save for the notification slider, and fully wraps around the border of the phone. Which the "Protective Cases" from OnePlus doesn't do.
It's not too thick (though thicker than a OnePlus Protective Case), but in exchange it doesn't offer as much protection as an Otterbox, Neo Hybrid or other multi-piece cases.
I have a Spigen Rugged Armor Nexus 6P Case. The logo & 'carbon fiber' pattern are not nearly as visible as in the picture (I forgot they were there until I saw the Amazon page).
It's this Spigen case: http://www.amazon.com/Nexus-Spigen-Exact-Fit-Premium-Finish/dp/B01761J26I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1455647481&sr=8-3&keywords=nexus+6p+spigen
with the white carbon skin from dbrand with the titanium Nexus logo (which comes with the skin) and then the Colored X cutout which you have to select separately: https://dbrand.com/shop/nexus-6p
Enjoy the phone. It's a bit big but without a doubt the best smartphone I've used. Quite good.
Would it work with spigen thin fit P case? It has a pen slot which Id want to have oriented downwards so I can use USB
I use this for my firestick and projector remotes.

Its a bit oversized but works fine. I put in a small piece of paper towel inside so I can quickly see if it leaks. I've had it for 2 years with 0 leaks. I only open them up to replace the batteries.
I bought the "Spigen Ultra Hybrid [Anti-Yellowing Technology] Designed for Google Pixel 6 Pro Case (2021) - Crystal Clear" and it is horrible for me.
Are you talking about the Matte Black one? https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0964GCFRY
They don’t sell them in all black? Could have sworn I saw one in all black after you told me about it and I looked them up… maybe it was just the lighting and they are dark grey. Yeah the clip is expensive, but! It is titanium so you know it’s tough and it can be added and removed so if you wear out one of the knives and completely wreck it you could always buy another one and just switch the clip to the new one so it would probably pay for itself. There is a cheaper option though and I know this because I added this little trick to my leatherman since I don’t like carrying the leather pouch and that is the nite ize hip clip, you just clean whatever you want to add it to with alcohol and then stick it on and clamp it down with a clamp or wrap a zip tie around it for 24 hours to let it dry and bam new stainless steel pocket clip. https://www.amazon.com/Nite-Ize-HipClip-Attachable-Smartphones/dp/B007CBSBM4/ref=mp_s_a_1_2_mod_primary_new?adgrpid=64895322411&gclid=CjwKCAjw1ICZBhAzEiwAFfvFhGHpMX-dYrDUfz_x-9mMgqYB7Bo4FnvyxT6baYOAzJIiav3-nxX7QRoCFkoQAvD_BwE&hvadid=410008...
Getting on and off the ship is very easy at both ports. The only things you NEED to take with you are your Key to the World card (cruise ID/room key that DCL gives you when you board) and a photo ID for anyone 18+. A water bottle is a great idea, however, and you can also take off pre-packaged food. I'm vegan, so I frequently bring a couple of energy bars with me, just in case. However, food is readily available on Castaway Cay. We used these waterproof cases for our phones on our recent cruise, and they'll also hold small items:
People also frequently bring a day bag, either a backpack or fanny pack/belt bag/bum bag, depending on what you're bringing with you.
>and I don't use the S-Pen at all, because it's impractical to carry around,
Have you tried this case? It's the best for carrying your S-Pen:
I have a Cressi mask, worked great when I bought them but now are leaking after years of use. I have mask cases but have never used them
The biggest issue you'll find is that the better snorkeling is on the west side of the island. Mountain View is great for accessing Volcano National Park and Hilo. And there are supposedly a few places to try on the east side, but those aren't considered the best locations. You could day trip and snorkel at Two step, which would be a two hour commute each way. Alternatively, you could spend a night in the Captain Cook area, which isn't as expensive as many locations on that coast.
I use a dry pouch that goes around my neck ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LBK7OSY ). I have an underwater camera, never had much luck using a case for a phone.
Here ya go. It fits juuuust right onto the Rebar. If the clip were any bigger, it'd protrude a bit, but it really is the perfect size. I placed it on and put some heavy books onto it, let it sit there for an entire day, and then took it was good to go!
I have this one and love it. It's a strong clip that sticks right to the pump, so unlike with a case, it doesn't add much bulk and the pump stays the same small sleek size and is easy to slide in and out of pockets when you're not using the clip.
I've always left my phone and room card and glasses and such on a seat at the pool with no concerns. Odds are very, very low of it getting taken. I've left them alone on beaches other places too, though I have a pretty cheap phone and it'd be more of an annoyance than an expense to replace it (though a pretty big annoyance).
I also have a dry bag (this one) and have taken everything with me to the beach when just splashing around. If I was doing diving or snorkeling or something I don't think I'd trust it to stay waterproof for that long, I'd be nervous.
I put my wallet and key fob into one of these, and then that goes into one of these, which I wear like a fanny pack on the back of my waist. Its quite flat though and hides nicely under my rash guard. Works for snorekling or surfing.
If I'm going to be in the water, I never take my good camera or other things that I couldn't afford to replace if stolen while left unattended. Rather I just bring the basics (chair, umbrella, snacks, water, towel and gear for the planned activity) and with my wallet and key fob on my person, I don't have to worry about what I leave on the beach while snorkeling for 30min to an hour.
I have this one for my Pixel 6 Pro, really like it.

Bring a credit card, an ID, and a phone and throw them all in one of those. You'll want your phone in the pool for photos anyway, and no matter how waterproof your phone is you don't want it smelling like Vegas pool chemicals for a week.
Then bring a canvas/cloth bag and a bottle/can of sunscreen and throw your t-shirt/coverup in that. Throw that in any of the palm tree areas. Worst case is someone steals your bag with your t-shirt and sunscreen, and at $50-$60 they'd pretty much need to do that every single time for lockers to make economic sense. I think I've only had just my sunscreen stolen once in 50+ pool party days.
If you don't mind having a bigger phone, I have LOVED this case for my S-Pen. I can't imagine going back to having this phone without it: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0995WPCXJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Heck, yesterday I was ordering food online with my wife. We downloaded their PDF menu, opened it in Samsung Notes, and everyone in the car circled what they wanted with the pen. 10/10 - just one of many times this thing has proven useful

I've had 5 different cases, another from from these folks that was pretty bad. This case however has been incredible solid for 4 months with no issues so far. For such an expensive phone a lot of the cases are terrible, this one is a easy recommend though.

You can access it relatively easily folded, and super easy unfolded. This case has me open up the device a lot more since it's easier to do for some reason. I absolutely hate cases on phones and have had no case or screen protectors on my phones for years (ripped off the Fold 2 screen protectors after a week), but this the first case that offers enough functionality, and doesn't impede as much, for me to use it.
