Get this and do it yourself. Pretty simple
I also checked the screws that stripped the paint, they seem to be the correct ones. Could the stripping have been due to overtightening or a faulty screen? I bought the screen on Amazon.
get a phone with a cracked screen and replace it yourself
replacing the screen on an iphone is really easy if you have the right tools. the isclack is pretty expensive (normally, it seems to be on sale on amazon) and it makes taking the screen off of iphones incredibly easy.
just know that you can't replace the screen on iphone 6's or newer (well you can, but you can't update afterwards or else your phone will be bricked)
Straight talk, so no.
And, yes, my phone is unresponsive to touch and the pixels are screwed up. I'll have to buy the whole LCD assembly.
Is thisthe thing I am looking for?
The parts are around $50.

Good luck
Found one for 8 bucks, and I compared the pictures of the case on amazon to my case, seems like the exact case. No reviews though :/. If anyone else is coming here to find the answer to my question, comment and I'll make sure to get back to you and let you know if this case is legit or not.
I'm having the exact same issue. Is this the part you are talking about?
