The problem I've had with this method is getting the amount of water correct. If there's too little then it boils off before the pasta is done, too much and you have to overcook the pasta. I feel like I'm doing something wrong, because I've never seen this mentioned. Anyone have tips?
Also this recipe is kinda annoying since you have to keep evaporated milk on hand. My lazy mac and cheese of choice is to buy dehydrated cheddar powder and just make it like the kraft stuff.
I got curious, and checked pet simulator. at least 90 people bought and voted on a 39999 r$ gamepass.
At the lowest rate, $200 (not including tax) for 35000 r$, this would mean at least 90 individual people spent around $229 to play a shittily cobbled together 'simulator' game. What's also funny is that 8 people disliked it, which means they spent 229 FUCKING USD ON A GAMEPASS and weren't satisfied. For their sake I hope they got a refund.
I want to die.
EDIT: Actually, I take that back, you need BC to get the deal I mentioned, so tack on an additional 5 dollars. I'd rather spend that 5 dollars on this, and I'd still have 86 cents left. Basically, fuck pet simulator.
Not OP and I don't use this specific one, but I get the cheddar cheese powder from the same brand on Amazon. They also have the mac mix!
I do not know your Chicago brands, but I do know my local Mennonites: powdered cheddar cheese. Obviously they do not source theirs, which I buy, through Amazon, but the stuff is great. There are times I do not want the smoothness of sodium citrate and instead up the cheesiness of a sauce with the powder, but mainly I make great popcorn and Tex-Mex-Chex mix. It also can be added to a bread dough without creating pockets of moisture that make hollows.
I found this cheddar powder on Amazon. Cheddar should be easy to find shippable to Canada.
Holy cow, I was expecing blue cheese to be harder to find, but the same company makes blue cheese powder too!
It's available on Amazon, but with an added $40 for shipping:
We may just have to do that and split the costs. ha
I asked this same question once. Turns out Amazon has it!
Directions Cheddar Cheese Sauce Mix.
>Ingredients:
1/4 cup of butter or margarine,
1/4 cup of milk,
2 tbsp of Cheddar Cheese Powder.
Cooking Instructions: Mix all ingredients. Heat to 180F and hold 5 minutes.
Get some cheddar cheese powder, msg (optional but really brings you there), paprika, and a bit of garlic powder and mustard powder. Mix it up. Throw some greasy fresh fries in a paper bag with your powder mix. It's wonderful. If it doesn't stick well to the fries or it clumps, add a little bit of cornstarch.
You can also make a dairy free version by blending some nutritional yeast into a powder and then mixing with the other ingredients above (minus the cheese powder).
Either version is great on popcorn too.
Why not just buy it off of American Amazon? I buy books off of the UK one all the time, so it shouldn't be an issue. I have bought this cheese a few times, its quite good.
If I'm not mistaken, Doritos are corn chips which are basically just fried corn tortillas. I don't know if they use a mix of corn and regular flour though, or some other stuff. You could try baking them instead to get them crispy, might work? Corn tortillas should be pretty cheap at most stores.
For the cheesy topping you might be able to find it as a popcorn seasoning. Another option is something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Cheddar-Cheese-Hoosier-Hill-Farm/dp/B008GG9ZS8/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=cheese+powder&qid=1603670080&sr=8-1

Let me make your day a little brighter. Cheese power that’s just like Kraft. https://www.amazon.com/Cheddar-Cheese-Hoosier-Hill-Farm/dp/B008GG9ZS8/ref=zg_bs_15197501011_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=276TNTAH25HB57XA6FF6
Land O' Lake American Easy Melt cheese 5 pound block on Amazon is actual government cheese if you want it in bulk.
Comes in a case of 6 though, 30 lbs total of cheese
Reminds me of the time me and 5 friends went in together and bought it off Amazon because we thought it was 5 lbs of cheese split into 6 packages... Turns out it was 6 packages that were 5 lbs EACH! Luckily it freezes well... I think I had that block for 2 years.

I don't even know the brand that I have. It was repackaged into a smaller bag when I bought it. You can get cheddar powder online. Good luck figuring out how to use a full pound of it! I've probably only used 75-100g in the last 6 or 8 months. But I have used it for cheese popcorn in the past. It works great.
I've never seen it in a regular supermarket. I got it in a specialty store of sorts that sources bulk ingredients and sells them by weight in smaller bags. You can get cheddar power online.
Psst.....Cheeeese
Buy him this for this next birthday:

*When I was growing up, I LOVED Wishbone Italian dressing. Like, I would take shots of it (it's full of sugar). So my as kind of a gag gift for x-mas, I'd get a huge restaurant sized jug of it. My brother always got a summer sausage the size of his forearm.
Just get him this Mac N Cheese Powder
There are lots, here's one. https://www.amazon.com/Cheddar-Cheese-Hoosier-Hill-Farm/dp/B008GG9ZS8/ref=sr_1_4?crid=31SXK80WA7BQL&keywords=powdered+cheese&qid=1656487305&sprefix=powdered+cheese%2Caps%2C101&sr=8-4
Some powders have other things than cheese (to make it more saucy), so for keto look at the ingredients to see if it fits your daily quota.
You can buy the powder on Amazon! We have this one. I swear the packets had more when I was a kid. Now I lice my cheesy dreams.
A) there’s an extra creamy variety that’s a little better, B) you can buy cheese powder, mix it with a little corn starch and salt, and add to taste to amp up the punch-you-in-the-face cheese flavor and orange visual.
Land O Lakes American Extra Melt Yellow Process Cheese Loaf, 5 Pound -- 6 per case. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00B04ADCU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_F4DZ33WXWKCX7WWADZAF. Holy inflation though!! Used to be cheaper.
Lol yes. It’s a puffed cheese snack. These are the ones she specifically loves:

I’ve tried the Hoosier Hill Farm brand because they were highly rated on Amazon but honestly it’s not that much of an improvement over Kraft or those other cheap mac & cheese powders. I’m sure different people have different preferences based on what they grew up with. But I think any of those would go fine with the meals you have listed except the chicken. For a “fancier” cheese sauce I would go with Annie’s Organic Shells and White Cheddar
>I was reading about the Just Crack An Egg cups and they sound promising albeit expensive.

Into a mug, crack an egg, crumble the cheddar bar, add the chopped sausage link (or bacon crumbles), and add a splash of water. Beat with a fork. Microwave for 90 seconds. Add some sugar free ketchup and/or Tabasco to taste.
