They're actively releasing them as audiobooks and graphic novels now!
Yes. Very soon. It's quite a hefty one, some 250 pages. All inked & drawn by a fan. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Invasion-Animorphs-Graphix-K-Applegate/dp/1338226487 there's a pinned thread with a lot of previews in the subreddit.
On a side note, if she loves cats, the Warriors series is great. there's tons of books (start with Into the Wild), probably all pretty cheap since they're popular. I've loved them since 5th grade, they're young adult books about wild cats living in their own clans/society. There are also Warriors manga, too! They function more as side stories, so it helps if she's read the main books, but it probably isn't necessary for some. Here's one on amazon, cheap and cheaper if you get it used: https://www.amazon.com/Warriors-Rise-Scourge-Erin-Hunter/dp/0061478679/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1467515373&sr=8-2&keywords=warriors+manga
just fyi, the warriors series does have some violence (cats fighting, dying in battle) if that's an issue. It's still aimed at kids though.

My cousin's 8-year-old son was reading a graphic novel by Dan Pilkey called Dog Man the last time they visited. I read through it and was impressed because it was written and drawn as if a 4th grader had made it, and it had some how-to-draw materials in the back. It's basically a "You can make a story like this, too!" kind of book. Here's a link to the Amazon listing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0545581605/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Y.RNzb3DS1BVY
Not just that, he straight up catfished Jake and had a LOT of fun hitting on him pretending to be someone else. Marco was queer all over the place.
Tangentially related, but the other day I was looking for a gif and realized that an Animorphs cartoon done in the style of X-Men Evolution would've been absolutely perfect, since Kurt in his image inducer form is literally just Marco.
On that note, shout out to Chris Grines's excellent graphic novel adaptation. There aren't many but he's hard at work on them and they're very, very good introductory material.
Are you reading the books or graphic novels? I started https://www.amazon.com/Invasion-Animorphs-Graphix-K-Applegate/dp/1338538098 with my kid - they loved all the illustrations!

If you like Gamecenter CX, she's also done most of the fan translations you see online for that show!
If you like her art, you should pick up her new graphic novel Sparks!
