Baking powder wings!
Cut up 10 whole wings and toss with 1 teaspoon sea salt and 1 tablespoon baking powder. Give it a minute or two then air fry at 400 for 8-10 minutes per side.
Eat as is or toss in your favorite sauce. (Mine is Spicy Chili Crisp Oil )
The name of the sauce is literally sweet chili sauce. It's like ketchup. It's a type of sauce a lot of different companies make. My favorite is Mae Ploy (there's smaller and cheaper bottles on Amazon then the one in the link).

I get AMAZING one on Amazon for like $4 - it’s so good I sent surprise packages to relatives! Bibigo, Sauce Gochujang Sauce Hot & Sweet, 11.5 Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01EWVOSXW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7ZElFbHM2T69J
You get get the samyang sauce on amazon (they offer 1x or 2x spicy). Use shirataki to simulate noodles. :) :) enjoy! If you don’t like shirataki- edamame pasta from Costco has great macros
[Samyang] Hack Bulldark Spicy Chicken Roasted Sauce + Bulldark Spicy Chicken Roasted Sauce 2 sets / Fire Noodle Challenge (overseas direct shipment) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R7G67V9/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DxMgFb1A4EK8G
np friendo. the bottle ones are probably better for you than the tub ones...
The tub ones you often have to like dilute a bit like a concentrate. The squeeze bottle ones are premade to just use.
Amazon link for the chili oil. I got the link from this YouTube video by [Kenji](/u/J_Kenji_Lopez-Alt), which has two recipes in the video description: one for the noodles, and another one for the chili oil.
I haven't had the TJ's meal in a long time, but this is the gochujang sauce that I love. I can find it at Wegman's and at my local asian grocery stores:
https://www.amazon.com/Gochujang-Korean-Chili-Sauce-7-5Oz/dp/B00OQGC20U
I have also found this at my local Ralph’s (OC/CA)
That’s a really fair question! There is a condiment of sorts called chili crisp that you can buy at most Asian grocery stores (I think Trader Joe’s also has an equivalent now?) - this is the one I use. So I fry the green beans in the chili crisp which has an oil base. :)
Here's something (might be the same) available on Amazon, but I've also bought this in Walmart.Spicy Chili Crisp (Chili Oil Sauce) - 7.41oz (Pack of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G8WQQZ2/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_BETE2DGZ3R2XZ10866BF
If you've never had it this stuff it's so good for everything and it's in every Asian market I've ever been to.
I should add. For the super lazy just get what I call aunty Helen sauce. A spoon full of this on any Chinese takeout will give it a burst of authenticity. Lao Gan Ma
Lol I know how to cook the noodles. It ends up as noodles with a thick sauce on them. And they do have a bottle of 2x sauce, like this 2x Sauce
> I wonder if you can just add some super hots sauce that is fairly neutral to just up the spice level.
The SeriousEats oven fried wings recipe tossed with this gochujang sauce or a mix of Sweet Baby rays + honey + Yellowbird habanero is amazing
Smashed Cucumber Salad. There are a lot of ways to make this, the video from Chef John is just one way.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCJcD7fYPWg
Note that I sub Lao Gan Ma's Chili Crisp Oil as the chili oil from the recipe because I LOVE the small crispy parts.

I don’t think anyone has ever asked that question before. You can buy a specific strain of flakes made from cheongyang peppers or look for spicier versions of gochujang but if you really want to punish yourself you can try adding a little Buldak sauce to your dishes.

Toasted everything bagel with avocado, egg and this stuff (not actually spicy) is my go to. And add smoked salmon if I have the money for it 😘👌
If you're looking for variety, try the Buford Hwy Farmers Market. They have a ton of hotsauces from all over the world, but they're not in the same place, you need to hunt around to find them. The store is organized by nationality so if you want Asian hot sauces you need to go to the Asian aisles, same with Mexican, American, etc.
It's the only place I've found Samyang Buldok 2x Spicy hot sauce: https://www.amazon.com/Samyang-Bulldark-Challenge-overseas-shipment/dp/B07R7G67V9
It's basically the same sauce they use for their 2x Spicy ramen which is awesome if you like spicy stuff.
I used soy sauce, gochujang (link below), and sriracha
Gochujang Korean Chili Sauce 7.5Oz.(Pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OQGC20U/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_Lh04FbRBK5NFD?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Trader Joe's sells something call Chili Onion Crunch. Not as spicy as traditional chili oil but tasty.
I like chili oil by Lan Gao Ma
Alternatively, you can make your own: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlIiADdh-QY
TBH with those ingredients I would try more of a Korean hwaedupbop/bibimbop style. This is because tuna in oil mixes well and tastes great with something spicy to cut through it. Also you use plain cooked rice without the need for prepping it with rice vinegar/salt/sugar.
To make korean style chirashi:
instead of sushi seasoning, use chojang which is a spicy and sweet sauce
I personally do not recommend cucumber slices in any chirashi, it brings out fishiness of the dish
Lastly, I noticed that you used rice vinegar in your mix, that should be added to your rice right after cooking. For seasoning, the tradiitonal is dashi, mirin, sugar, and soy sauce. Some ponzu can be used as well.
It’s the first time I’ve used it myself, but it’s that Asian spicy/sweet/salty flavor - it’s fermented too.
My Walmart had it but I dunno if your far north has been invaded yet...
Does amazon reach you?
I put a couple of drops of this https://www.amazon.com/Samyang-Bulldark-Challenge-overseas-shipment/dp/B07R7G67V9/ref=sr_1_3?dchild=1&keywords=ramen+hot+sauce&qid=1600402948&sr=8-3 hot sauce in the 2 tablespoons of sauce and it was gamechanger.
