Most of my books are 2 cards per pocket. The 2 cards give enough thickness to prevent slipping. You can also use perfect fit sleeves on your cards before putting them in pockets to give them extra thickness and "grip".
Just standard card sleeves. Something like:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B005HIOVOG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_imm_ZKD61RS479JBANCM0WWQ
They fit Game Boy and Color games perfect. Main thing to look for is a binder that is big enough to handle the extra thickness of GB games (compared to cards) and ideally has a pocket of so sort for games that don't fit (like Pokémon Pinball you see in the video).
Its the "Ultra pro Premium pro deck binder", they really are the absolute best , the materials are top quality, they fit single sleeve and double sleeved , but they are a fan favourite so you'll have to be quick to get one when they are in stock , cannot recommend this thing enough ! Amazon usually has them but lots of other places do as well
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amigo-Spiel-Freizeit-84722-Builders/dp/B01DA81HYQ
I store my cards in the binders, 2 opuses fit easily in to one binder, as it fits 480 cards , i use a card separator with a little note on it to distinguish which opus it is , and for all the extras and doubles i get i just sort them and put them into the booster boxes
Hope this helps !
Zip-loc bags (small and large) for all the bits, and one of those accordion-file things for the room tiles are life savers. Plus, getting the items into binder sheets is amazing (see "Ultra PRO Platinum 16 Pocket Platinum Mini American Cards")
> Those cardinal binders look nice, but are awfully expensive on Amazon for me.
You're telling me, lol. I bought them at Walmart for $10 each, but spread over time as I needed them. You obviously won't need a plethera of binders if you're starting from scratch, although keep in mind supplies ARE ALWAYS expensive, you're just noticing it because you need it all at the same time.
> what sleeves do you recommend?
For your 3-ring binder, I use the exact ones you linked. The more you buy at a single time, the cheaper they are. I usually buy 2,000 at a time. They are perfect for 9-pocket pages.
A trade binder, to me, is one of those ultra pro/monster binders you were referring to in your older post Like This. If you aren't planning on going to locals and trading with fellow players, don't even worry about it. If you're just going about starting a personal collection, get a smaller 3-ring binder for valuables and a bigger one for collection. I personally do not recommend lugging a small 3-ring binder around to locals and tournaments to trade because the cards can fall out of the pages if you aren't careful.

I personally use this one. Great material, 12 pockets per page, comes with like 24 pages, and uses a zipper so it's mostly sealed. It's gone up in price since I bought it, and it really all depends on what you're looking for but I still recommend.
Hey, I'm not sure whether this is a serious post or not, but rubber bands are a very bad way to store cards. (Although a quick Google search for "lobster claw bands" will find you what you're looking for.)
I recommend instead using card storage boxes like this one (and available in a ton of different sizes) that can store hundreds or thousands of cards without bending or damaging them.
If you're interested, I can also help you make sure individual cards and small sets are properly protected, but given your question, it sounds like you're more interested in making sure your full collection stays together instead.
Yes, OP.. if you’re able to buy a new binder, this is the one you’d want to move that glorious collection to. https://www.amazon.com/Vault-Binder-Trading-Loading-Pokemon/dp/B071V91LGC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=vault+x+9+pocket+binder&qid=1613073277&sprefix=vaultx+9&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzODd...
Thankyou so much! I will keep with the perfect fit sleeves, is double sleeving a “must do” or is it for that added protection that’s optional?

These the right ones? I’ll order a bunch now if so!
That’s a lot of questions. I can’t help you much on the flipping part, but I can help on the storage. I put my good cards in a penny sleeve and top loader. Then I put them in a 4 row storage box (link below). I find it to be the easiest way to organize and keep track of everything.
Then yes, that's my goal. I just use UltraPro Platinum. Hell, I even put 2 cards per pocket. Some will say it's blasphemous to do this, but I'm planning to never sell these. And the one's I'm willing to sell are kept separate in more "ideal" conditions.
Personally I keep my bigger items and my photocards separate. I keep my postcards and other larger items in a regular binder with the pages they fit in. My cards I keep in premium ultrapro binders. You can't add pages since they're bound to the spine, but it keeps my cards from bending because everything lays flat no matter how full. I double sleeve with thick card sleeves and color sleeves so if they were stored in a normal binder they would probably also be bent :( but my binder keeps them safe! They're more expensive than a normal binder, but imo definitely worth the investment especially if you have rare cards! Also I would use thicker sleeves because it gives more support for the cards :)
These are some of the items I use: Photocard binder
I’m really considering if I should collect the english ones too, but I’m scared it might be harder to get all the ALT arts one >.<
Here’s the binder from Amazon.
Ultra Pro 84722 Deck Builders... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DA81HYQ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
These Ultra Pro sleeves? I have them and really like them, although I've never used the FFG ones, so I can't give you a comparison there. And there are 3 reviews on that Amazon page, all positive.
For the player cards, I think binders are the best choice. But if you prefer boxes, there are à lot of products available. After all, Arkham Horror cards are the same format than Magic cards. You can try the BCW storage boxezms (https://www.amazon.fr/dp/B000K41E6K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YxtxFbB7CXQD6). They exist in à lot of different sizes.
For the games I would go with a 3 ring binder and the trading card collector pages. You can fit 2 GBA games or 1 GB/GBC game per slot. Ive had mine stored like this for years now.
I'll link my storage solution because maybe someone will get some use out of it ( /u/TLan718 ?) but I'm not sure it will be a great fit for you.

On the other hand, one of the components I use (the cardboard boxes) may work just fine for your needs:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K41E6K/
You might not need to order these exact boxes from Amazon. Most local game stores will sell you similar boxes of varying sizes for pretty cheap so this may work out better for you.
It's funny because that's exactly what I did, but a few years ago I was looking for more pages and couldn't find them at staples. They're pocket page protectors, or page protectors for cards if you want to describe them to an employee there.
These are basically what I bought, but I think they were like 10 bucks at Staples.
this is pretty good
VaultX is a very popular choice. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MTYY0IB?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Its what I use too.
I really like the Staples Better Binders with Ultra Pro 9-Pocket Platinum pages. Each sphere fits in a 1" binder with three sleeved (60 micron) cards per pocket, though it's a tight fit now with a complete collection. These binders are a bit bigger than advertised, but the 1.5" binders might be better for a complete collection. Anyway, they are super durable and look really nice, especially when you but some inserts on the cover and spine!
Can't find it on their website, but this is the best binder I've ever used (I also tried one of Ultra Pro's solid-colored and suede variants, and this one is made better).
I use Vault X for all my non-collection binders (trades, sale and staples)
https://smile.amazon.com/Vault-Binder-Trading-Loading-Pokemon/dp/B071V91LGC/
Uk based company too, so their prices may be cheaper for EU
You can use boxes like this one
I got 1 inch binders Avery easy turn binders in 5 colors (one for each sphere color and one for neutral). Mostly any binder like this will do, but make sure not to get the cheap binders that have perfectly round rings because they can catch your sheets easily and potentially dent your cards. Also, cheap rings bend out of shape easily and make it hard to turn.
I don't recommend a large binder to hold all your cards because it makes it hard to carry and look through. I do not sleeve either and use these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HIOVOG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
