This is regularly priced at about $45 directly from Scythe and fulfilled by Amazon, so I'd hesitate to call this a "sale". It's been on my wishlist for a few months for my upcoming Zen 2 build.
If we compare the 2, the Be quiet has a larger heatsink directly above the contact area compared to the cooler master. I’m not an expert in this kind of stuff, but I’d imagine that dissipating more heat very early in the travel path helps the rest of the cooler manage heat dissipation better.
I’ll look into it, thanks.
Edit: looks like the Scythe Mugen 5 rev b is a great cooler. On amazon for $48.

I’ve been through a bunch of reviews and can’t decide which is better so I’m going to try one of each. Reviews for both are solid. No doubt both offer solid cooling and some of the quietest fans out there.
I can not recommend this case more. The build quality and features are top notch. They have to be losing money on it. It was out of stock for almost two months.
EDIT: The Noctua NH-D15 fits with about a millimeter or two to spare.
Yes, I've been told this as well. Unfortunately, I had already bought the Noctua cooler by the time I heard about the Ventroo cooler. I'm not sure about performance on that one either.
Here it is for those interested.
Looks great. One idea I'd love to see someone do on a build like this, is using a Noctua NH-D15 (or similar) and fabricate an injector hat onto it instead of water cooling.
Damn amazon, I'm not sure this is really the Black Edition considering the pictures, and this Item: https://www.amazon.ca/Cooler-Master-RR-212S-20PC-R1-Direct-Contact/dp/B07H22TC1N/ref=pd_sbs_147_1/143-8857372-8158032?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B07H22TC1N&pd_rd_r=6a38b214-cfad-45bf-b41f-6e516b330182&pd_rd_w=9n5Vt&pd_rd_wg=Yewxp&pf_rd_p=c2360efe-cd48-4541-ac20-e99c48f6c1e6&pf_rd_r=Z5NCFNFS9FG9H4030SNT&psc=1&refRID=Z5NCFNFS9FG9H4030SNT

Scythe Fuma 2 is on Amazon for $59 and doesn’t cover your RAM, is quieter, and within a few degrees at most with this for $40 less, highly recommend checking out some reviews of that if you’re looking seriously at this.

This vs Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.B for similar price?
You can't beet the Scythe Mugen for that sweet sweet bang for your buck cooling!
The wraith max is a beefier version of the prism, you're probably better off going for an alternator cooler.
Edit: Yeah the wraith Max is $100+ on eBay and Amazon so definitely steer clear of that. It's a great stock cooler, but not for the price of a small dog.
If you don’t care about the all-black colour, you can grab the regular Scythe Mugen 5 for $15 cheaper
This is regarded as the best air cooler: https://www.amazon.com.au/Noctua-NH-D15-heatpipe-NF-A15-140mm/dp/B00L7UZMAK/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=noctua+d15&qid=1605052712&sr=8-1
I have bought one, just waiting on my 5900x to arrive. There is also one in black if you would prefer that color.
Try gaming with the side panel off for a while and see where the temps max out at. If it's noticeably better then it points to case airflow. However the stock cooler is just good enough to get the job done so a cooler upgrade would help as well. My go to budget cooler is the Hyper 212 Black Edition.
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition is a great budget option that I've used for two builds in the past. Installing it is a bit tricky.
Noctua NH-U12S is more expensive then the 212, but has a better fan which will also be quieter. From my understanding it also has a better mounting mechanism then the 212.
Not sure if I'd recommend an AIO at this price point. My gut says get the U12S.
Truth is I never payed attention to my temps.
I had an AIO liquid cooler before this Noctua Fan Cooler and I replaced it because it started to make very weird noises. The noises were loud enough and occurred often enough to become distracting so I replaced the AIO cooler with this cooler.

They're very similar, but I'd suggest tossing the Scythe Mugen 5 into the ring. It's a shame that the 212 is so expensive these days, used to cost half that and was a really great value. It's black now at least, I guess.
Just got the same system not too long ago! I would highly recommend switching out the CPU Fan for a better one. I was having some overheating issues and unfortunately out of the box I was running 100 degrees Celcius in gaming and it would even shut the system down!
Here is a link to the new one I got: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QMK5R45/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Super easy, it took me just under an hour, just be careful and you'll be good.

Take it easy!
You're in luck, the king of air cooling, the NH-D15, is right at the US$100 mark. If the colours bother you, you could look into the NH-D15S Chromax which subtracts a fan but is black.

The extra $5 is well worth the presentation over the standard edition. GN and other tech tubers have done countless reviews and this is always top tier

Wait, these doesn't include fans?
It's different that this right? Because the names are the same
All normal with the small stock heatsink. Get something better with a bigger, quieter fan if you want it to run cooler/quieter. The scythe fuma 2 is pretty cheap and MUCH better than the oem heatsink. https://www.amazon.com/Original-Design-Towers-Cooler-SCFM-2000/dp/B07QMK5R45
but even smaller, single tower style coolers would be an improvement.
This is one of the best air coolers on the market. One thing to note is in shorter workloads there's no real difference between a high end air cooler and water cooler. Where all in one water coolers get a real advantage is in heat soak. It takes a lot longer for an aio to reach their max heat capacity than it does an air cooler and that's due to the larger size and also the liquid.
Consider the Scythe Mugen 5. Reasonably priced (< $75 tax incl. right now), very quiet and miles better than the stock cooler. Comparable to the equivalent noctua in a lot of benchmarks I’ve seen.

Mine should be here this week or next for replacing the stock wraith cooler on my 5600x which was making an unpleasant sound with my otherwise very quiet case.
Water cooling is way overkill IMO. Much more expensive and often noisier than a solid tower cooler unless you’re spending a lot to get a quiet pump and fans.
I read online that the MA620M is not a good value CPU cooler. You could consider something like the Scythe Mugen 5 Rev.B for half the price, or the Noctua NH-D15 if you want to spend around $100 on an air cooler.
Also if you're OK with Amazon warehouse, there are Z490 boards for cheap on there.
Otherwise, solid build and good luck!
If you can fit a NH-D15, you probably won't do much better. It's about the best air cooler on the planet, better than quite a few AIOs, and zero chance of leaks.
its a step up from the stock cooler. any 120mm tower heatsink is going to be like $20 and the rest of what you're paying is for fans.
