Not sure when this was first posted, but you can reverse image search and see it's posted on a lot of sites right now. For anyone who wants the product, I tracked it down:

Even has the OP's picture as the second image.

I'll second the o-ring suggestion. I prefer the softer clear o-rings to the opaque red ones. You can get enough for 2 keyboards for less than $10. https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0761TSWF3/ I use these on both my gaming and typing boards.

It's a keyboard skin from Amazon to keep cat hair out!

I have this Uppercase Keyboard Cover from Amazon and absolutely love it. I've never had a problem with it leaving any marks on my 2017 Macbook Pro 13" Touch Bar model.
The skin is from here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/324220864144
However, you can also get the four piece one for the same price, I wish I got that one instead.

They don’t seem to have the black anymore but this is the seller I got it from. And thanks! I used this for everything so I hope its an easy enough fix
Use this and problem goes away instantly:

It’s a rubber cover for the whole keyboard (top four buttons not included. The backlight shined through muted on the sides, not through the type face or whatever. I have an earlier may model so if you have an updated model it may come through better. Here is the link!
Tbh, didn't pay attention to the size, but I just checked and they have an inner diameter of 5mm. I've seen about every vendor has some options for rings and ended up taking them onto another order I got from Amazon
Get gummy o rings. The mech keyboard community hates these but they also don’t like blues so, do what you want :). These will at least make your keyboard a bit quieter and give it less harsh of a sound, though it’ll ALSO reduce the distance your keys will travel, which may or may not be a deal breaker for you.
I eventually moved on from the o-rings, as I found switches whose bottom-out feel I liked.
But the ones I had been using are these:

E ceva birmaneza/persana?
In locul tau, mi-as cumpara asta.
If you truly want as silent as possible, then make sure to add o-rings to the keycap stems. This will help with the keys tapping the plate. I've had a few requests for silent builds, and though I used Bobagums, using o-rings made them practically noiseless.
Looking forward to the sound test!
P.S.: I made a short video a while back with a sound test of the Bobagums with o-rings.
Try something like these: https://www.amazon.com/ThreeBulls-120Pcs-Dampeners-Keyboards-Dampers/dp/B01N75JL0F?th=1
You still get the same tactile click when the switch activates, it just dampens the loud clack when the key 'bottoms out.'
McGruber shit right here, LOL! While I can applaud your creativity OP, save your teefie rings and just snag a pack or two of these:
I use the clear ones, but they also come in red, black and blue. I know they aren't fancy or anything, but they sure as hell get the job done.
I use these

1.5mm thick, stacked two thick, are perfect for the stock keycaps and Gateron clear switches. (IIRC they also worker for stock cherry brown switches.)
About three keys would register inconsistently, so i took the two 1.5mm o rings out and put one 2mm o ring in.
That's good. If most keys work but a small % don't, that means you're minimizing the travel as much as possible. Just address those problem keys. Another potential problem is 'bounce', where multiple rapid fires register for a single press.
But those problems show themselves quickly and it all works out well.
So pretty comparable to these? (I assume the "cm" dimensions mean "mm"
Does anyone with colored ones notice tinging to the LEDs? Ah screw it, a couple bucks is worth playing with and probably useful for case screws, holding LED/Fan wires together, dampening metal hard drive mounts and other stuff, thanks OP.
Acrylic keyboard cover on Amazon, but I'm going to look for a cheaper alternative which I'm sure is out there. I'm reminded of some kitchen cabinet shelving or something similar.... if anyone knows, please let us all know!
Every.single.time.I.use.the.laptop, my cat walks across the desk, the laptop, usually standing in my field of vision. Sure I pet her and give her attention, but then she lays down half on/half off the keyboard. I scooch her aside, she jumps down and is back in a minute. I have to dodge left and right to view the screen, she's relentless. Tried putting a little cushion next to the laptop but she'd prefer to be exactly where my hands are. I'm ok spending $10 on something similar, cause I'm sure the cat will decide to sit down on the acrylic cover, still blocking my view.
I bought keyboard O rings that go under my keys and make it still have a satisfying click without being quite so noisy. You could consider trying that.

One option is these plexiglass keyboard protectors that essentially form a bridge to prevent your cat from touching the keys but still allow you to type normally. Maybe something like this could work for your cats!

A couple of comments:
Good luck!
you can easily make your keyboard look exactly like that by buying a keyboard cover that comes with key colors for the g14. https://www.amazon.com/Leze-Keyboard-Zephyrus-Gaming-Laptop/dp/B08FWWXHV6 heres the link
