Doesn't look like a sex toy to me, looks like one of these. They were pretty popular when I was a kid. They do look weird, but I think that if you tried to use this thing for ~off-label purposes~ it would probably explode gel all over.
After some searching, I found a site where you can buy these ($10 US, plus shipping).

I was totally into making Barbie environments, and yep, I'm actually more into interiors than fashion overall. No real sewing pros in my family, but I could make furniture out of stuff; that's one reason why.
However, they used to have a toy called Fashion Plates, and I loved it! You'd mix and match the tops and bottoms and color the patterns with colored pencils.
Oooh, they still make them but they've updated and have expansion packs!
I saw them at Target tonight! I'm sure a little different, but the concept was still very much the same. In the arts and crafts section.

What about scratch art paper (that black paper that when you draw into the first layer with a toothpick it is rainbow underneath)? It’s been a big hit with 6 year olds in my experience!

Awesome! I have made a ton of things like these in my workshop as well. If you want to print the bottoms, good on you. I am very impatient. So when I print larges things like this, I actually just print those walls, then glue them to a thin sheet of plasticard. There is NO way you can go without the bottoms on something like this. It still has to be removable, so this was my solution to make it a bit faster. This does increase your hands-on time, instead of just tossing it on the printer and then doing your thing. Just putting this in here in case you inspire anyone else to do this but they don't want to print the bottom.

I used to LOVE drawing “princess dresses” on figures when I was a kid, and there was also this toy that had mix and match fashion plates you could trace over to design and color your own outfits.

Yes!! Also, balloons, finger paint, rainbow scratch paper, or their favorite snacks. I loved unwrapping my own personal box of cheezits when I was a child.
Thanks! Its made out of styrene which I believe is the same stuff model kits are made out of. Basically just a pack of this and and a bag of 1/8 rod from the hobby shop got me through most of the project.

So, I got one pack of these exact ones and used between 2/3 and 3/4 of the bottle for my tub. The tub was big enough for two people to stick their hands and feet in at the same time. Honestly it was so fun that I want a whole-ass kiddie pool filled with them, lmao.
Some reviews say they don’t like the ones I linked because they’re not as big as Orbeez brand, but I was fine with them. We also tossed a few glowsticks into the water bead tub too and it was awesome.
Okay and yesterday I played as a giant anthropomorphic chicken that used a machine gun to vaporize Master Chief. Maybe the desert is covered in Magic Sand It's fantasy, it doesn't have to play by real world physics.

I love your gifts for him so I know he’s gonna love them too! This year was really hard on us as it was on a lot of people but something really horrible happened during my fiancées birthday so we don’t “properly” get to celebrate in Sept. So last week I got off work early and surprised her with sushi and a bday gift that had finally come in the mail... a hand made mini dumpster teakwood candle that said “2020” on it. So when you light it, 2020 is a dumpster fire, lol.
For Christmas this is the first Christmas that I can afford to drop a little money because I have two jobs now. I’m bursting with excitement trying not to tell her what I got her but I’m really nervous! I got her a satin robe because she’s obsessed with satin and only has had one robe for as long as I’ve known her; one of those little square keychain trackers so you can “call” your wallet or keys if they’re lost in the house, a must have for ADDers like us lol; a Spirograph set from back in the day, because she’s only recently gotten into art with me and I’m not sure she ever had something like that as a kid; some glitter gel pens to go with it; and these weird taco socks to top it off. What do you think? She’s silly and fun and I just really hope she likes it all.

It was the perfect amount and they stay in good shape the whole night. Water temp does not seem to matter at all. I would suggest getting a strainer cover if you have open drains though. And put a huge stack of towels on the counter, you'll want to get in and out a lot.
We've experimented quite a bit with lights, but for my money the best arrangement is blacklights and glow sticks. Everything else ends up feeling harsh to me. Definitely change out your bathroom light bulbs for blacklight coil bulbs if you try the water bead thing!
