They're on amazon, they work pretty well since they're so easy to pump back up https://www.amazon.com/Delta-Cycle-Airzound-Bike-colors/dp/B000ACAMJC
You can put the bottle anywhere, like inside your frame's triangle, and the button mounts on the bars.
I’ve been using this one for about a year with no issues. Was also looking at Park Tool options but got this from Amazon for $80 USD on sale. I also like that it collapses down and takes up minimal space in the garage.
at the store, just put it in your shopping cart.
if it will be out of your sight for any length of time, the Kryptonite Fahgettaboudit has been recommended here.
if you only need to prevent a regular pick-up-and-walk-off theft, a regular cable bike lock should be enough -- but anyone with a little time or tools can get through those rather quickly.
For my small apartment, I bought this off Amazon. It leans up against the wall and can be used as a bike stand for maintenance.
Edit: For $50 it's been great: amazon link
Overkill? Maybe. Comes with $5000 coverage? Yes. Heavy? Oh heck yes. But it's not a problem when you got a ebike. Love my lock and don't worry about the bike anywhere with this baby on it. I lock the frame and rear wheel with it. The front wheel has a locking threw axel

A kool stop tire bead jack is probably one of my favorite bike tools
I got a bike stolen from a bike room about 10 years ago and have never trusted them since. I always keep min in my unit. I use something like this Bike Rack that leans up against the wall. It doesn't take up a lot of space and gives me a lot of peace of mind.
I feel your pain. If I were in your shoes I’d sure as hell want to bring my bike into my apartment too.
I’ve got two bikes I switch between regularly, and recently got this from Amazon. It’s right against the wall just inside my apartment, so I can hang them up and take them down easily just as I’m coming and going.
Don’t worry about hanging your bike by the rim of a wheel. Unless your frame is made out of ultra dense material from a collapsed star and weighs a ton you’ll be fine. I wouldn’t discount a pulley system with the ceiling, even if it’s tall either. Installation would certainly be a pain, but worth it once you got it done. I’ve seen some innovative setups on YouTube, you can look there for some inspiration and brainstorming. It’s also possible you could make something just to fit your needs in a DIY project. Before I bought my rack I was contemplating following some instructions online to make one myself out of $50 or so of PVC pipe or wood from a hardware store. Good luck with whatever you choose.
I hope you gave her hell through her window after that, and/or submitted a police report.
Glad you're safe though!
AirZound. Buy one. Use it.
I have one on my bicycle, and it's very, very, very effective.
Order from Amazon USA - shipping is very reasonable.
I think I'll end up getting this for my apartment, but thought I'd post this link here for anyone else interested. It's $45 on amazon.
Strongly recommend against that lock. It's unbranded, overstock junk. The links are probably cheap round steel, maybe only a few mm thick. Bolt cutters will go straight through it no question.
Unfortunately there is no such thing as cheap security. To secure a bike in a shed I would expect to spend minimum $200/bike; I'd be using something like this. 14mm hardened chain, and 15mm shackle mini u-lock. No bolt cutter is getting through that. The small u-lock also makes it a bit harder to attack with a grinder. Chains, especially thick ones like this, are trickier to attack with a grinder too. Not impossible, but floppy chains are hard to grind since you need to tension the chain to properly cut it.
I have several feedback sports products, but yeah unless you are transporting it a lot, the extra sturdiness isn't worth the cost. The bikehand stand i have was like $90 on Amazon, and has been going strong for 2 years of twice a week use now, and the clamp is superior to all but the most expensive FS stand, which are, what, triple the price?
>Cheap repair stands have crap adjustments, fold poorly (if at all), have weak and hard to adjust heads, and are generally not very stable, which is a serious issue when tuning a drivetrain for example
The bikehand stand definitely has none of these issues
7 is an excellent option for an apartment, but I would disagree with that article's statement of relying entirely on gravity. It includes one anchor and screw to keep it from tilting while loading/unloading.
If you buy "cheap", chances are that you're either buying something that's built to be a temporary toy or buying stolen (thus increasing demand for stolen bikes). What you need to do is ask, "Where can I get the cheapest price for an unstolen bike that will last me four years?"
The ASUCD Bike Barn's Aggie Bike Buy option is an incredibly good deal that few bike shops can match. https://asucd-bikebuy.ucdavis.edu/product-category/bikes/ The guy who runs the shop (Robert) is ultra-sensitive about the cost of bikes but since he and his team has to fix the bikes, he's always looking for the best value. An 8-speed Biria ($475) will be enough bike for most riders. Coupled with their 4-year unlimited labor plan ($175), you will have a bike that will work well for 4 years. (Just make sure to put the plan to use! If something doesn't feel or sound right, take your bike in for a check-up!)
But you also have to keep that bike secure, so you NEED to purchase at LEAST one great lock and at LEAST an supplemental cable. My favorite setup is the Kryptonite Evo4 standard size U-lock and cable. https://www.amazon.com/Kryptonite-2079-Evolution-Bicycle-KryptoFlex/dp/B06XZT8KZ1/ It comes with an anti-theft guarantee of $1,500 (as long as you register the lock, use it correctly, and file a police report if the bike is stolen)!
That's probably more money than you want to spend, right? $475+$175+$60 = $710 (plus tax). But that will get you:
A non-stolen bike you want to ride, will be rideable for 4+ years, and that will likely not be stolen (if you actually use the lock correctly). If you purchase a "cheap bike" (Walmart, Target, Costco, Big5, etc.), you'd be lucky if it lasts the year. And if your bike doesn't work, then you've just wasted your money.
Kryptonite New York Fahgettaboudit Chain 1415 & New York Disc Lock https://www.amazon.com/Kryptonite-York-Fahgettaboudit-1415-Chain/dp/B001SMUB7G/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Fuggedaboutit+lock&qid=1624025284&sr=8-2
Obviously, if someone wants something bad enough, they'll get it, but this is definitely a deterrent.
I have a few of these Delta Gravity Bike Racks and I'm really happy with them. It does take up some wall space obviously.

The park tool videos on youtube are very well done and easy to follow for a beginner. If you feel like doing it yourself, you can save the money paying someone for a tune up and put it towards a bike stand on Amazon and do it yourself and watch the videos (assuming you have a bit of time).

Thank you for the list. I just ordered bikehand stand. Hope it last for a while. Please clarify what torque wrench to start with. You are saying get a wrench that clicks in place when you get to the set torque? and preferably a low torque one from 2-15Nm? Thanks again for your help.
I had the same issue back in 2010 with continental tires.. broke 2 bike lever so I ended up getting this.. Link saved me so much time!
I'm using a bikehand pro stand, 90 on amazon. Not the cheapest or the most expensive. I was surprised by how high quality it actually is, especially the part that clamps on the bike, it's a great design.
Here it is holding the bike I am working on.
The combined weight of everything in that picture is about 60lbs. Heavier than that and you probably need some fancy park tool stand, but if your bike is 52 this one will hold it no problem.
I bought this one from Amazon. Venzo Pro Mechanic Bicycle/Bike Repair Rack Stand Wanted something with a small footprint when setup. So far it has been working great for me but most of the time I've been clamping it on the top tube of my hard tail which is also the balance point. So haven't tested it out clamping other things, like the the seat post.
I made one of the pipe-clamp style ones a few years back. Not sure what plans I used, but this guy's youtube video shows more or less how I did it.

It was....okay. i mean, it worked. But to be honest, for the ~$30-40 I spent on the pipe clamp, pipe, fittings, etc and the time I put into it, I'd have been better off buying a cheap Amazon/ebay stand for $50-100. Which is what I eventually bought. But, that said, the DIY one did work.
I am using this Kryptonite Evolution Ulock with Cable. It is pretty sturdy and comes with a mounting bracket, and because of the included cable you can lock your front wheel along with your frame. It has a year warrenty you can sign up for free theft insurance, if the lock gets cut and your bike gets stolen you can get 2.5k coverage.
Hey there. Here’s some suggestions based on what people in NYC have posted or said in the past.

As for helmets, there’s just too many to list. You’ll have to find what works for you.
Just depends on the manufacturer sometimes. Get a tire bead jack to keep in the back of your toolbox and forget about until you’re on the verge of tears trying to mount tires you spent way too much on to give up easily.
High end ebike rider here.
My advice is don't. Don't leave it anywhere, ebike are high value target to bike thieves. A battery angle grinder can cut any lock in seconds and they will do it in broad daylight.
If you ABSOLUTELY have to try and lock it up within eyesight and keep the time as short as possible. I use this:
Pretty HD chain but with an ebike that doesn't really matter.
