There are some DIY solutions out there like with a bucket that you cut the bottom out of.
I have a SprayStand which I prefer to other options because it can sit on the toilet and drip dry. So that's something to consider when making/buying one.
Oh no, did you not use a diaper sprayer shield? You put it on top of your toilet and it holds the diaper and contains the spray, it's a game changer! I can't imagine how much of a headache trying to do it without one would be, I totally understand why you hated it.
Another trick is to take the liners out of the diaper before you spray it. That way the diaper isn't 600 lbs when you're done!
Also, Happy cake day!
I end up washing clothes with poo and pee on them every few days anyway. Take the lazy cloth route- do about 1/2 cloth and 1/2 disposable. I definitely use disposable at night, when going out, when we are sick…
I use the cloth ones while we are home on the weekends and a couple after daycare during the week. Daycare app sends me a prompt when baby soils their clothes do once home it’s easy to use a few cloth diapers before bed then load the wash before sleep. Get a toilet mounted sprayer and a splatter guard
BUY THIS SHIELD I can not recommend it more. I personally think it is overpriced for what it is, but it is so handy and I regret not buying it immediately in the beginning. It is really nice to leave the diapers clipped on the shield and then be able to drip dry(ish) the diaper while it stands on the toilet. And if you need to move it off the toilet sooner it had a tray. It’s design also makes it hand free while spraying.
I have this one and i loveee it! I thought it was pricey at first but i love that its not folding and easy to let them dry 🤗
Water bottle you can operate with one hand.
Snacks on hand (granola bars, apples, trail mix, cookies, etc.)
Get on a schedule and stick to it. I pump right after baby eats every time she eats. Same concept as triple feeding minus the breast part. This way your body is still tuned into baby’s needs.
I eat galactagogues like crazy because my boobs suck and milk production is a STRUGGLE, plus the pump isn’t as effective as a well-latched baby would be. I also take sunflower lecithin and legendairy/milky mama supplements to try to keep up.
I carry everything in a caddy like this one because getting set up to pump and realizing I left something in the other room ticked me right off. I keep snacks, extra collection bottles, assembled bottles/flanges, my pumping bra, and the pump itself (it’s a Lansinoh so it’s small) in here and just move the whole caddy wherever I need to go.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: cut yourself some slack. It’s hard. It’s a TON of work. But you’re a rockstar for doing it and, if you decide to stop, you’re a rockstar still. Good luck mama 💜
Ok, I got these things, pretty quick to find them- searched Amazon for diaper caddy and really like the one I ordered especially because it does have a zip top, more pockets than a lot of the others, and removable inside organizer. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B084G8VB9M/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A119ZEG1KHW8YT&psc=1
I also searched pottery tools caddy or organizer and found these for less than $8! They look like just what I want for many of my tools, but I didn’t think one would be enough so I got two, especially because they were so cheap (of course that may mean it will fall apart right away!). But if I like them, I could see myself even buying some more for say glass tools or wax tools etc. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IIGLH22/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A23ADOZFIJNPFB&psc=1
It’s not a perfect fit but I got these for organization

A purse organizer I think is definitely the way to go for the console!
I’d say a dresser would be a great item! A small one even or whatever the space allows. I’ve literally never used the closet in my baby’s room for anything besides extra diapers and a place to put the clothes she’s growing out of. All the clothes she fits in and yet to fit in are all in her dresser. They take up three out of six drawers. One drawer has her extra baby towels/rags/swaddles, another has miscellaneous like socks/hats/bows etc and the last is full of extra wipes and some diapers. On top of the dresser is a changing pad and little diaper caddy that holds diapers (obviously lol) plus wipes and lotion and some medication she has. I love our dresser and I’d say it’s our most utilized item. It’s a changing station plus storage space plus closet all in one basically!
I got a caddy similar to this and took it to whichever room baby was in to change on the bed, floor, couch, etc. On the larger side I put diapers, either nicely folded if I had the time or just quickly quarter folded to fit. In one of the smaller cubbies I put cloth wipes, and in the other diaper cream, extra snappi, a burp cloth, extra cover, and a small spray bottle with water. On top I threw a wet bag and changing pad. The side pockets were too small for anything.
We use this, but it is more expensive that the spray pal. It's super sturdy, fits perfectly on the toilet rim, and comes with a tray to set it on when not in use.

I spray. I change the baby on her dresser changing pad, then go into the bathroom and spray afterward. I use a SprayStand. IMO this is better than a spraypal if you have enough space, because you can leave the diaper to drip dry over the toilet. Later, I transfer to a wet bag or if it’s still pretty drippy I unclip and release the diapers into a bucket.
Our nanny doesn’t spray - just leaves the diaper wrapped up in a wet bag for me to deal with later. It’s fine but I don’t recommend waiting much longer than a day to take care of it.
We have this on our changing table and I really like it. Holds diaper and I keep the wipes dispenser (not a warmer) on it. Super handy, unopened diapers are stashed in the closet.
I don’t see that chair and storage containers being worth even $100. I recommend going with the cheaper Pack n Play and getting whatever other chair/bouncer/baby rocker looks like the best fit for your lifestyle.
Edit: This can provide some hard plastic storage for whatever Pack n Play you get. I don’t have one, but the reviews are promising. Prince Lionheart Diaper Depot Clear https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000056OUO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_9NzPFb54HEYC5
We changed our first two on the bed (in the guest room/nursery. I found out with #1 that I can't sleep with a newborn in my room so she was moved to her crib at a few days old and #2 went directly to her crib) or couch 99% of the time. The only reason we bought a changing table this time around is because we now have a two story house (before we had a 3bed/one floor condo) and I don't want to have to take baby downstairs for every night feed/diaper change and his nursery is far too small for a spare twin bed and a crib. And I won't take him into my room and risk waking up my husband just to change baby on the bed.
If you're going to have baby in your room anyway I'd say just keep a diaper caddy in your room and change baby on the bed. I bought this one when I had my last daughter and it keeps things nice and organized and portable.
