You can prevent it by changing your username, by doing this your profile link will change and the bots will not be able to find your page.
Unfortunately you will have to remove the existing bot followers manually
You are completely right with wanting to grow organically, bot accounts will destroy your chances of that. I have also written an eBook where I talk about organic growth and what bot followers do to an account.
Yeah promoted posts are useless for growing your account, iWiking had a good tip already. There are many things you can do, like shoutouts, giveaways etc.
If you really want to know more I'd suggest you this eBook it has a lot of useful information that helps grow an IG account packed together

You may want also to read the books by Al Ries, "Immutable Laws of Marketing" and "Immutable Laws of Branding" ( I can't remember what the numbers were: 22 Immutable Laws, or something or other ), as well...
It takes time to build following, & connecting with the people who are interested .. isn't some God-given entitlement .. it takes groundwork.
I just discovered that intead of having 1 EU site, Amazon has a zillion nationally-specific sites...
Here's the US link to the book I'm telling you to get:

That's the one.
Find it at your local Amazon, & however short it is, it gives you the complete template of what you are required to do.
It is a precious resource, for anybody who isn't a business person, who wants to be self-employed.
( there are others, completely irrelevant to your situation, so you don't have to read them!! ; )

FB can work but it can take a wile. I know other MSPs that do it well, they will target the receptionist etc of the business that they are looking to pick up. it sometimes takes years but cost fark all. targeting cuts down cost a lot. google is much the same think of problems that end users may be searching for not MSP end users are not looking for an MSP they want a problem solved. also have a chat with your vendors my CSP wholesaler helps with marking to the point of providing hot leads. Local business groups are great too. I did find I had to go to about 12 months of meetings before any work or referral's but I enjoy going out at seeing people.
Pick a niche and hit it hard.
have a read of this short book the 1 page marketing plan by Allan Dib https://www.amazon.com.au/1-Page-Marketing-Plan-Customers-Money-ebook/dp/B01B35M3SM/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?hvadid=71743243502907&hvbmt=be&hvdev=c&hvqmt=e&keywords=one+page+marketing+plan&qid=1641097757&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExTFpLRktRMTlGOUhNJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDY0OTkwRVpBSk1JQUhPUDVVJmVuY3J5cHRlZEFkSWQ9QTNKQ09KTERZWVdaUFomd2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGYmYWN0aW9uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl
I would read this book here:
And do a lot of research and digging before starting anything. I myself jumped into creating an agency without any planning but got very lucky because the Industry I was in grew at an alarming 25%+ this year and tail whipped my company along with it.
Read this book and do what it says

The best way to advertise is to have something people want to buy and a very clear one-line value proposition on how it will change someone's life for the better. Building a Story Brand is one of the most approachable and easily implementable books on creating marketing content, with great examples, and even a step-by-step guide to your home page.
Generally, beyond that, most "free" marketing actually means that you put effort into it. For example, content marketing where you gather a library of helpful resources that attract people, and occasionally advertise your product/service along with it. u/bawlerblog posted a comment in this thread where the offer free content marketing advice (For tech related niches). Even if that's not your niche, there will probably be other people offering a free content-marketing strategy session who are hoping to sell their services that way.
The other thing people do is create a free download to attract people who will sign up to your email list (and who you can then advertise to). The easiest way to create this is to create a free guide/tool/step-by-step exercise PDF that will make someone else's life easier. This adds an extra step in advertising, but it has the benefit of allowing you to offer something for free rather than immediately asking for something.
You should consider this book, im going thru it now and taking notes for my online business

im close to the end some stuff came easily to me but still alot of good information
I'd create a brand messaging framework to reflect back to and re-wireframe your website with new copy. If you can't hire a conversion copywriter + designer, I highly recommend reading Building a StoryBrand. I work in this field and it's totally worth the investment of time and/or money–whichever you prefer. I use this method and so far, all but 1 of my marketing clients made their money back within the first 2 months. Copy is powerful!
The Udemy course mentioned must be the "Ultimate Google AdWords Course 2017–Stop SEO & Win With PPC!". It is a great course for starting your AdWords journey! Don't bid on competitors brands. CPC will be extremely high and performance will be low (unless you have a huge budget and dont care). Bidding on competitors brands is suggested when you are one of the top businesses in your niche. Start with what is working best for you at the moment and gradually scale. If you use AdWords already execute a Search Query Report and focus on keywords which bring conversions. Put to test also keywords with high number of clicks/impressions. This can be made on AdWords by clicking on Keywords and then Search Terms. You can learn more about how to perform a SQR step by step on my book on Amazon "Advanced Google AdWords Strategy: The Comprehensive & Data-Driven Practical Guide on Managing & Optimizing AdWords Accounts Profitably". If this is the first time you ll use AdWords (thus have no recent data on AdWords), you can do this in Analytics (which I assume you have). Simply create a goal for conversions, and create a custom report in order to quickly look at search queries which brought conversions/clicks/impressions etc. In your custom report select "search query" as your dimension and as metrics add goal completions, goal conversion rate etc. Hope this helps. Good luck!
The ads you saw are Dynamic Search Ads. DSA ads might exceed the length limits of Expanded Text Ads or Responsive Search Ads.

The same question was made just a few days ago. I will just use the same answer I gave:
A good formula to actually calculate the performance of an ad is by using the formula (Conversion Rate)*(Click Through Rate)*100. The higher the score, the better the ad.
Assume that for a particular campaign/ad/group/keyword/location/device etc etc CTR is 10% and Conversion Rate is 5%. Then:
Therefore for every 200 impressions you have 1 conversions. Practically this formula shows you the number of conversions you are making per 100 impressions. This means that each % of Conversions Rate and CTR are equally important.
When you have a limited budget (search lost due to budget is not 0) then you dont care about CTR. A small budget will be consumed one way or another. If CTR is high it will be spend faster, if CTR is low it will be spend slower. But for bigger accounts which have maximized their potential to trigger an ad on every single relevant term (Search lost due to budget is 0) then yes obviously CTR does matter.

It really depends, there are a lot of ways of how you can work on your engagement rate and "save" your account again.

I partially undestand your concern. Unless your ad copies are not something like "Click Here - Earn Now 1 Billion" then a good formula to actually calculate the performance of an ad is by using the formula (Conversion Rate)*(Click Through Rate)*100. The higher the score, the better the ad.
