I forgot the name but I am referring to the 3 and a half hour version that includes the director's cut of the film with the animated pirate story spliced in it like the graphic novel.

Here it is, you can find a torrent of it as well.
The "Martinis and Medicine" box set, specifically, allows watching without the laugh track.
Yeah, throughout the entire series, one of the main complaints I've seen people post is that all the streaming services are the syndicated edit of the show.
Good thing the DVDs are cheap!
They are on Amazon and often go on sale.
The Martinis and Medicine Complete Collection looks good because it has some extra reunion specials and such. I bought mine season by season as they were released in the late 90's. So I don't have this set.
The martinis and medicine collection has these features plus the movie. Just look it up on your nation's Amazon site!
Just order the collection. Its still in stock on amazon
Yeah. My set has this scene thankfully. Unfortunately its out of stock on Amazon right now but you can still buy Season 1-9 for about 25 bucks. Not a bad deal.
[Edit]: But it from a 3rd party retailer, I mean.
I have the Martinis and Medicine DVD set.
^^Non-pro ^^tip: ^^Put ^^a ^^backslash ^^before ^^the ^^asterisk ^^to ^^format ^^it ^^correctly.
For any M*A*S*H fans, the series was broadcast without a laugh track in Canada, and probably elsewhere. The Martinis and Medicine DVD collection has this as an audio track option, and I believe it elevates the series.
Great stuff, thanks OP!
Personal advice from someone who bought both: The Martinis and Medicine collection is more expensive, but very much worth the extra.
So far, the sci-fi miniseries. ^(Wow, that's gone up. Glad I still have my copy)
Not as grandiose as the Villeneuve version, and you can certainly tell a lot of things were shot on set, but overall I think it did a really good job of telling the story, the acting was fine to good, and it was never slow or tedious.
i mostly agree with this version, just one thing; FotR have an annoying green tint, TT and RotK dont have it, and regarding the 4K for me looks better, but it frozes couple of frames during the Battle of Pelennor fields... ive seen people saying their discs are working perfectly, so, is your choice now...tbh i've watched the my DVD boxset more times than the other 2, i dont know , for me this is the one that looks better
The Roseanne Complete Series on Amazon DVDs on Amazon have the highest quality I've seen. Not sure if it's technically HD but probably the best you can get
If you haven't bought the Martinis and Medicine MASH boxset, you're doing yourself a disservice. Alternate no laugh tracks!
Happy birthday! I hope you feel better! I have Daria on my wishlist because binge watching shows is my biggest hobby! Not the most exciting hobby, but I still love it.
here you go: The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy - Extended Edition (Twelve-Disc Special Edition) https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000654ZK0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_FVqpCbKYSQWF5
one does not simply spend $350, so cheapo alternative if you want it: The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B000787YVI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MXqpCbNG4GHAM
You can probably find it for cheaper on ebay
I was looking at the box that had both of these at Wal-mart but I remember that looking at vol 2 on amazon the back of the box says that Godzilla 2000 and Godzilla Vs MechaGodzilla II have English audio. Are those English dubbed and have no Japanese audio or is it some weird labing thing going on? EDIT also do any of the movies in Vol 1 overlap with this Godzilla collection because it looks like 2 of them do. https://www.amazon.com/Godzilla-Collection-Vol-Yuriko-Hoshi/dp/B000VXWK86/ref=pd_bxgy_74_3?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000VXWK86&pd_rd_r=YQT4GKDFT3MGHP0SY00B&pd_rd_w=FIXcK&pd_rd_wg=KD8sX&psc=1&refRID=YQT4GKDFT3MGHP0SY00B
The Godzilla Collection (Vol 1 and 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000VXWK86/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_eoC2ybWVS81WH
That's the one you want. For blu ray, some (Smog Monster, Sea Monster, Gigan) have good stateside releases, most though you'd have to get the Toho blus, which are great but undubbed and unsubbed.
I'd say a few movies maybe, or maybe a nice figure or too. https://www.amazon.com/Godzilla-Collection-Vol-Yuriko-Hoshi/dp/B000VXWK86 This is a nice collection, although it's missing the third movie, King Kong vs Godzilla. http://stores.sumogorilla.com/all-dvds/king-kong-vs-godzilla-dvd-widescreen-japanese-version-uncut/ (This store has quite a few uncut Godzilla films by the way).
You can check out the product description on amazon. They're showed in the order they are on the dvd with their air dates.
edit:
@ this
> It was better when I watched it that way, I just don't think it's some amazing all time masterpiece.
I think the reason people are disagreeing with you is because you are kind of missing the point. It wasn't an all time masterpiece, but it was a great start. Compared to other series' that most would actually consider masterpieces (pretty much any star trek first season), the first season was pretty phenomenal. Maybe it's not for you, but I found it at least as enjoyable as the expanse, but they aren't really comparable as one is a light hearted character based show and one is an epic thriller that's constantly jumping around the solar system.
Probably this, it is the most expensive thing on my wish list Dark Shadows: The Complete Original Series
This set? I think it might be, since they're both published by Classic Media.
I haven't actually watched the copy of Raids Again from that set, but if it doesn't have the Japanese cut I might as well grab the one /u/dylan_divilbiss linked. It's only 5 bucks.
> Add to this my love for crime and drugs and this show falls in line with movies like Goodfellas, Blow, and Casino where it is like watching a Wikipedia movie with music. ... Ill take any recommendations on crime and drug documentaries/movies.
If you haven't seen it already, this whole series is great.
Been meaning to check Narcos out, it looks pretty killer.
I wish this version was easier to find then paying $160 for the whole collection. Really, I wish it was on Netflix as a separate audio track because its kinda feels weird to buy a show that I have on Netflix.
It's a long shot but you can try your local library.
There's a $60 used box set on Amazon, but I figure if they don't make it available in your country to buy, it's fair game for piracy.
It was originally aired on FOX stations, if memory serves...
Available on DVD these days for about 10 bucks... well worth your while in my opinion. A very heartfelt show chock full of characters who speak their mind and aren't just one lazy hivemind of plot driving.
Well The Hobbit Movie is coming out soon, maybe you can prep her by buying the LOTR extended edition box set and spend a couples days watching it with her?
Blu-ray Version
The girlfriend got it as a gift so I'm not sure, I checked though and its available here
