Buy a thread stand. Sit it so it is up against your machine. It will hold your thread. Problem solved.
Joann should have them for a lower price, or any fabric store.
You can buy a thread stand to hold the large spool or put the big spool in a cup behind the machine and thread it as usual. Then you don't have to rewind at all!
I too have a peg situation with them on the wall. I also purchased These . They wrap around the spool and hold the thread in place. Might be a strategy to keep the cat from getting the end of a thread.
Thread spool savers - they really make a difference when you have multiple bobbins/spools and want to keep them handy!
Are you looking for the floss version or the printed version?
I found the printed version pretty cheap on Amazon.fr but the floss versions all look to be around 35-40€

I got them here but you could probably also find them by looking for spool huggers/spool wraps/spool savers (I’ve seen all of them used) from craft/sewing shops! They’re designed to wrap around spools of thread so they don’t unwind, snag on things, protect from dust etc
Thanks :) I (they) used these

My favorite is Simthread and I purchase from Amazon.
Very reasonable pricing and my Brother 750 loves it. My machine has difficulty with Brothread and Gutermann. From what I have read each machine is different. You might just have to see what works for you.
What kind of spools do you use? I heard that bigger spools can be a problem. And that might be it. Here is a link to the thread I bought off amazon.

also get yourself a nice set of embroidery thread colors! and select a storage option that works for you, I have a wall rack for mine.
I bought a DMC color card to match threads. They’re sold on Amazon. DMC COLORCRD Needlework Threads 12-Page Printed Color Card https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001C1NMO2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_frQKDbND4XCF3
Joann's and Micheal's always have a fairly small selection of DMC. I hate to say this since Hobby Lobby is a truly awful business, but they have one entire eisle devoted to DMC thread and usually have a pretty okay selection (it's usually only a couple skeins of each thread and you'll have to be careful because the colors are usually all mixed up)
Because Hobby Lobby can go jump in the sea, I'd recommend finding a local needlepoint shop that partners with DMC or Anchor thread (a similar brand). If there's nothing local around, you could also purchase the DMC Color Card and purchase off the DMC site itself. The card isn't going to be 100% accurate, but it's pretty close!
The one with actual thread is not made anymore. The one with pictures is available on Amazon (DMC COLORCRD Needlework Threads 12-Page Printed Color Card https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B001C1NMO2/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_i_dEvrFb1RGPY01)
Thank you so much for your help! I am using the one I found on Amazon: Polyester Embroidex. https://www.amazon.com/Polyester-Embroidery-Beautiful-Babylock-Husqvarna/dp/B0035DBUPS/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1492983623&sr=8-3&keywords=embroidex
I will try your suggestion for sure. Do you have a link or a full product name of the gutermanna or sulky thread I should buy for my Brother PE770? Also what prewound bobbins I should get?
This is a new machine. I made the pattern with the program Hatch. I also tried the pattern from the machine itself and had the same issues with the caps and bird nest. :(
I tried looking in my PCStitch program, but Trebla is not listed for conversion. I would suggest buying a DMC color card and bringing that to match colors in the store.
Isacord thread. you can pick out 12 colors and she'd be thrilled. They sell 3 or 4 hundred colors, you don't need every color to have fun. Or the sample of threads comes in handy when working on a project that has 20 color changes, it also would make a great gift. link here: http://www.amazon.com/Isacord-Embroidery-Polyester-Thread-Navajo/dp/B00MZJEGTK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1430418014&sr=8-1&keywords=isacord+embroidery+thread
