Yes! But I fixed mine permanently with a little application of Permatex 81158 adhesive sealant silicone (just a few squirts into the weather seal, evenly spaced, on each side of the truck).$3 from Amazon
I have read (even in non-Tesla forums) that using something like this helps the window from sticking to the rubber seals.
303 Rubber Seal Protectant and Conditioner for Weather Seals - 3.4 fl. oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T44D1R2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_JBh7Bb00V3DRV
There are many options on amazon that help with freezing. Or so they say.

I jb weld'd a plastic gas tank for my lawn equip. idk the longevity of jb weld on a spot like that but marine epoxy or water weld can hold up on conditions for a semi-perm fix. This a common thing in the boat industry.
Try this:

Any auto body supply store in a bigger city should have it if you don’t want to wait for Amazon.
Good luck-
Ah yes, good point, it took me a while to find it in the store, there are different types. But I used permatex windshield and glass sealant. I got it at an auto parts store, but here's an Amazon link.
I see. Its extremely small so I'd hazard to mess with it further, I will look into silicone sealants and perhaps trying to apply some with a small paintbrush
is this the sort of product you would recommend? The scratch very close to the GPU backplate so it would need to be heat resistant. I run a 3080 so the backplate gets pretty hot.
Edit: this product is rated up to 450F
I started using Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions after seeing it on Project Farm. It is probably the easiest wax I ever used on a beater, and lasts a long while.

Used this on my 370 after doing a paint correction & it still looks great two years later.
This was the one the other person used:

I’m a former detailer. I bought a Cquartz UK 3.0 for like $80 on Amazon and did it myself. I spent about 6-8 hours working on it over the last 2 days.
Edit:Here’s the kit I bought:

Turtle Wax 53409 Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating - 16 Fl Oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XYPS3PS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_AZvxFbFDYD0E2
I couldn't find it at Walmart, seems like they ran out. They had other 3 in 1's
Could give RV repair tape a try. Mind you once its on, its NOT coming off. Its also not cheap, but you shouldn't need much. Id suggest thinking of something to put under the tape to gap the hole, of course. Give it something more to stick to and to keep it from flexing. Maybe even thin sheet of plywood.
Or even some scrap kitchen flooring and use rv tape to hold it down.

Just some ideas to get you thinking
Cuts drywall like butter. Great job on the vents. You can put this product over your caulk surrounding the vent, hitting the top of the van and the vent itself, adding additional years of proven protection to your job. A lot of people with motor homes love this shit. As per the reviews. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002RSIK4G/ref=twister_B01JRKPJ0E?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I looked up some 3M glue on Amazon, after googling for like an hour.
Hopefully, the glue will work correctly. Should I take it completely off before I glue it back? Mine is just partially off, and I'm not sure if it can be completely taken off from the rubber lining.
Update: It worked perfectly. I used a paintbrush to apply the glue, although it was a bit messy. I made sure to prep the area with painters tape, as to not damage the paint. Thanks :)
Maybe try some high heat epoxy if tou cant get it swapped out under warranty?
I pressure wash my teal Ioniq and don't really have any issues. Just be sure as always to not pressure wash too close to the paint, as it'll chip off under too much force. I like meguiar's ultimate for use with the pressure washer. For a protectant, I added this instead of waxing it. It has made future washes a breeze, but takes two ish days to apply(and one to polish back down if you overdo it).
The Ioniq Guy on You Tube compared products and he says this is better than Rain X:
I can't tell if it's supposed to turn, but if not you could try waterproof epoxy.
Scrap off all the old sealant and clean the area spotless. Then wipe it down with acetone and apply Eternabond tape to reseal it. Eternabond tape is the gold standard in roof sealing. Surface prep is key to a 15 year repair. Fix it and forget it.
Remove the tops.
Inspect the rubber seals for any tears, cracks, holes and any thing such as a buildup of dirt or pieces of twigs, etc.
What year is your Jeep? If the rubbers look good, maybe they need some emulsion fluid to restore the suppleness . Something such as this product>>>>https://www.amazon.ca/303-30324-Rubber-Seal-Protectant/dp/B00T44D1R2 .
Either buy some online, your local auto-parts store or the Jeep parts department. ( all vehicle dealerships carry some form , call and check who has the best price.)
look into this tape for the seams

My friends didn't seal theirs.. we were going as a group down the Interstate and the wind caught between the siding and ripped it off.. we just saw it rain pink insulation. They were thankful we had a roll of white duct tape for the rescue, ha!
Make your own.
Get some steel plate. Avoid using aluminum as it will warp too easily.
3x coat the underside with high-temperature enamel paint; the kind used for fancy car engines, to be used as an electric insulator, let dry 24hrs between coats.
Run bare copper wire along the edges, use J-B Weld 37901, Extreme Heat Metallic Paste to secure it, let dry overnight.
Place Kapton tape over the end leads to keep them clean from the next step;
Apply 3x coat of Graphine Paint, cover the plate and copper wire, let dry 24hrs between coats. Graphine Paint is used to block EM signals from rooms and buildings, it is highly conductive, so it will heat up when a strong current is applied.
Remove the Kapton tape from the ends and place them in a 2-lead ceramic screw terminal block, secure the block to the plate with a bolt or two. Use the block as your connection interface.

What are the differences between these two products? And when to use them?

https://www.amazon.com/Technicians-Choice-TEC582-Ceramic-Detail/dp/B07N8GBHTS
Do you know how is this different from the 3 or 5 year ceramic coating that most detail shops provide?
I was quoted $750 for a 3 year ceramic coating and $300 for wax and gloss. I am not sure how different they are compared to one of those wax sprays like https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07XYPS3PS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I recommend Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating.
What the Meguiar's Ultimate Compound and any other rubbing compound does is remove a thin layer of material, which in this case is the clear coat of your paint by using very fine abrasive particles. Similar to how toothpaste works to clean your teeth.
This is why it is important to apply a wax or protective coating after using a rubbing compound because some of the clear coat is removed.
However, if the scratch is so deep that it has reached the base coat (the color of your vehicle) or even to the bare metal, then the rubbing compound will not remove the scratch. At this point, you would need the area sanded and repainted.
