The Olight Perun one or the Skilhunt HB3
I wear it for skincare routine and makeup application. No more mascara in my bangs! It's a miracle!
These bluetooth headphones/sleepmask are a life saver, they connect to your phone or have a white noise sound feature built in. Got them to drown out my bfs snoring and they saved his life. :p
I like the Olight one (Amazon). You slap the light on there and a magnet holds it in place, then you pull the silicone strap down over it for security. Easy to use one-handed. Works perfectly, and it fits on the Zebralight straps too.
Looking great! If I can make a recommendation, try out one of these hair bands: [Amazon link]. You generally would want to avoid tying up your hair until it is completely dry, as this can damage hair. However, a hair band will pull your hair back and it won't "poof" up as much :D
I'd also recommend putting just a dab of argon oil in your hair as it's drying. It will help fortify it against the elements and keep it flexible - really important if you live in a cold climate!
I have come to really love the Olight Perun Mini. I bought it on the father's day sale and it has become a mainstay in my EDC. Wasn't a fan of the head band so I got a headband for the Perun 2000 and it works perfectly, btw.
It's a city - noise happens.
I get how frustrating it can be, I really do.
I'd file a noise complaint (In-Progress noise complaints are handled by the Police Non-Emergency Telephone Number 415-553-0123, 24 hours a day) but I'd also get a pair of these.
They were a godsend when my neighbors were doing construction at all hours.
if you want to commit to this longer style I'd say you need to keep growing it for another 6 months to a year and get it really long then can see about getting it styled. Its a tough process but can look really cool and I think you have a face for it especially with a nice long well maintained beard. I would say keep going middle part like in this picture, right now may also want to get one of those plastic hair bands or similar like I link below as well as can do hats since its in an awkward stage but still looking decent. as it gets longer can tie back with elastic hairband, use hats, etc. Go for it and grow it out bro the longer it gets like if hair on the top of head comes down to shoulders can look stupidly good as I've seen in some brown dudes that have grown it out who I know.
Those little cheap plastic headbands with the teeth on top were a godsend for me when I asked the hair person for a "short" cut and wound up with a bob instead of a boy haircut. You might be able to find some that are the same color as your hair.
You can alternate between ponytails and plastic headbands. You can also tie a bandana on your head to keep your hair out of your face, then secure it with Bobby pins.
If you want to be discreet, Bobby pins come in several different colors. You can try to match your hair color. They're small and easy to miss.
Anecdotal: I was using these headphones, to go to sleep https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087MDNJ6S/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_W0FFBT9FS4BJNXMQN9A8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
After a while I got slight inner ear ache. So I stopped and it went away. I started using them again and after a while the pain was back. So I stopped all together and it hasn't been back since.
I would first try combing hair into place and then apply a little bit of gel or hairspray at the roots of hair (close to the forehead). With time that should work (as it did with me when I had trouble with hairs falling in front of face after switching from side part to middle part) but if not...
- you could wear these wavy type of headbands or use hair clips
- or style your hair into a man bun
or even using a curling or straightening iron to swoosh your hair away from your face (like how you do with curtain bangs)

your hair looks pretty nice the way its styled though, I would probably just use a headband when I need to see (e.g; walking, running), while just dealing with running my hands through hair every min or so for the other times
I hope a solution works for you!!
They are called "dream lover wig grip headbands" link below.
They work really well, I have short hair (not buzz but about 3 inches growth I guess) and I wore them a few times with wig caps, I found though that the caps would slide off when I used both caps and the band at same time, and the cap would bunch up on my head... the caps for me were unnecessary, after I discovered the band. the band does the job wonderfully, and the adjustable velcro really help me feel like it was secure nicely... Giving it the tug test, lol. Still though while I prefer the comfort of the band, nothing lasted longer or gave me more confidence in it holding while I was being over active in it was glue and lace wigs.
I have some skilhunt bands if anyone wants them, I'll fig them out. Personally I don't like them.
My vote is for the Olight with the rubber STRAP. The rubber ring style is a pain in the butt if you're prone to sometimes use handheld. And if you also leave the pocket clip on your light, it's worse. I just pass the.band through the clip first, then hook it to the mount and pivot to aim. If I want to clip it to my climb harness, removal is simple.
My experience with these bands has been with the zebralight, but I'm pretty sure this light will be the same.
If anyone has a third light mount, or an Olight style that's cheaper, lemme know!?
These are the type of headphones I use. They are comfy to just wear all day long and even sleep in. I used to listen with regular earbuds or over ear headphones and my ears would get sore.

I got something like this, it’s just a stretchy fabric tube. I wouldn’t go bonnet unless you were worried about flattening your curly hair- you said you weren’t so-
If you get the right ones, earplugs aren't uncomfortable. Adjust the volume of your alarm to compensate or get a louder alarm.
I also got an eyemask that has bluetooth speakers in it and play brown noise.
I think it looks really good.
To solve the issue of a wig slipping I use these. They're a very generous size so even though they say For Women you'd have plenty of its fabric to go around your head and secure your wig. They don't have to be worn super tight, either, so once you get your wig to fit the way you want, you might be very happy with something like these.
Is there a specific one? The one I remember it’s like, a cheapy plastic headband. Could probably get it at a dollar store. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002Q9Z4IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_WNJTDTTQ8D6QM84VQF98
Would a velvet grip band be as good as silicone? I wasn't sure which would be better. Would this be a good one to get?
Also, I have pale skin(I'm Caucasian), should I get a wig grip band that is lighter to match my skin color, or should it be darker to match the wig color?
If she does decide to go the wig route, remember that there is a ton of variety of there. There are shops that specifically cater to cancer patients and have extremely high end wigs; they will often work with folks on cost.
The different colored ones they have at Halloween/costume stores can look really nice if you take care of them, and they're not expensive. In the before times, I used to get compliments all the time on my blue wig. People would ask how I managed to get such a vibrant color - I guess blue dye can be tricky.
Wigs can get itchy and fit weird on a bald head. They can also shift around, which is irritating. My favorite solution is a velvety headband around the edge of where the wig will sit. Brand doesn't matter. Any headband that fits, is soft, and doesn't shift around will work.
The advantage of the band over a wig cap is that you get a little space at the top of your head for your scalp to breathe. Those things are also always to small for my big head, lol.
Ooooh! I would definitely try a drop veil it’ll go beautifully with the simple classic lines of your gown! The one I got on amazon (ended up not even wearing it because I chose to wear ferns and raw crystals and put it half up instead) came with a really beautiful piece of hair jewelry and it was the best deal I found on a veil in general- it was almost as soft as English net which was surprising. There’s 4 shades of veil and the hair jewelry is good with Pearls which would offset your dress really well and look gorgeous with that hair length I’ll put a link in! Check out the Olight H2R head band. It's magnetic and has a quick release strap that holds the light on.

Every headband similar to this that I can find is sold by a Chinese company. If anyone knows where to get something similar to this please let me know
This is the one that I bought. It was incredibly soft. It did need to be steamed to get the wrinkles from packing out. And when I first got it I thought the gold pieces looked a little cheap. But, once I put them in my hair, and the veil dropped over them, they were absolutely breathtaking. I wore them with these earrings and it was a perfect match!

I'm not the one that commented, but I just wanna say that you can get headbands pretty much anywhere, i.e. the grocery store, drug stores, clothing brand websites (like Forever 21, for example), beauty stores (Ulta is a great place to look), Amazon.
I personally have a big ass forehead so I like to wear skinnier plastic headbands that have teeth on them so that they grip my hair and don't move, like these ones.
Some good/popular inexpensive brands are Scunci and Goody.
Medusa clipping is another thing you can try. I did that when my hair was longer. Real life curly girl on YouTube has a video on it. After you Medusa clip, throw a knock off buff like this.
Add a satin pillow case that you change every couple of days because you’ll get acne from all your products.
Hmm, the cheapest thing on my Random Under $5 wishlist is a cat-ear headband for keeping hair out of your face when you wash your face/do your makeup etc. It's $1.74 CAD which is ~$1.30 USD with free shipping.
it can be found at: amazon.ca/dp/B01D82X4OU/?coliid=I17JOQZAD5BAWF&colid=1J5QDCAHWGEW4&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Random generator choooses /u/fairypants & brenpope to also add some cute cat ears to their wishlist.
