I bring it with me everywhere on sunny days. It's not super fashionable comparably, but I'd rather have full protection on my face / scalp over looking super fashionable to strangers haha
If you don’t mind looking ridiculous, umbrella hats are amazing for pogo. The problem with regular umbrellas is you need one hand to hold the umbrella. I don’t know about you, but I can’t play pogo effectively one-handed.
Umbrella hats solve this problem perfectly. They leave both hands free for pogo.

I saw a number of people wearing these at go fest last year.
I got this one on amazon that worked great! However, it was not purchased with "style" in mind - just that it's big, has a wide brim that covers my neck, and fits my massive dome. I wear an 8 or an 8(1/8) for fitted caps a reference, and this one fits well.
As for looking goofy... it's a sun-hat. It's going to always look goofy!

There's an "aero" umbrella out there that claims to be wind resistant. I imagine it's only superior when the wind direction is fairly steady.
Also, I ran across this monstrosity while looking for an aero umbrella.
I feel you!!! I feel like my vitamin D levels have taken quite the nosedive after starting tret, lol.
I recommend keeping a wide brim floppy hat in the car with verified SPF protection so you can chill in the car (or outside) without having to keep shifting coverings.

Dunno about you, but i kinda want that. I have something similar i bought for work (i drive a garbage truck, and every now and then we have to get in the back and shovel the shit out) to keep garbage juice off my face, and more importantly, out of my mouth. This is even cooler.

I want a fuckit hat, but for now, this will do and eventually the stars will align and I will get the real thing.

But really though I have the same sun umbrella and didn't know about the shoulder clip. Now I'm intrigued. I was using my shoulder pouch and a elastic cinch to imitate this, but the clip looks more stable. Nice.
Sorry, nope, but it is about 36 inches in diameter, so not that small like maybe you expected. Here is one of many similar links: Umbrella hat I will say that as sold it is heavier than 9 oz and the head harness cuts into one's scalp. But I toss the harness saving weight and blood. BTW, the typical non-carbon shaft umbrella sixmoonsdesign (and other brands) is 9 oz, too.
