you need something like this: https://www.amazon.com/BASENOR-Adapter-Storage-Protects-Battery/dp/B07YKK7LKH
There are lots of them out there. One guy even made his own with hockey pucks.
I carry a set in my M3.

They aren’t necessary to safely lift the car.
and brought them to my local tire shop. i waited around and made sure they lifted my Tesla by the jack points. Any shop can do it but not without the pucks so just buy them.
Nice.
I think I'm going to with one of these. Powerbuilt 620471 Unijack
Easy to use. Small foot print.
Some of the reviews report an issues lower the jack. Looks easy enough in the video but I'll be sure to report back.
A hi lift works great without solid jacking points if you get one of these. Saved my ass several times and helped others get unstuck a couple of times too.
Yah... Don't do whats in the first and last photo. That's a pretty sure way to bend the shit out of your jack points and its a miracle they didn't bend in those photos already. For pinch welds you need a pinch weld adapter or a jack stand designed for them. Same goes for floor jacks, you need the adapter to avoid destroying your lower body and pinch weld.
The other problem is lifting the car initially. Assuming you have the proper jack stands and not the ones designed for cars from the 1950's, Then you need to find another safe jacking point to lift the car onto the stands. You can't just jack a car from the lift point and poof, swap in a stand mid air and thats what op is looking for.
Can always get some wheel dollies and roll them out of the way. For extra fun, spin them around the other way so they have a WTF moment when they come back.
Ideally get pinch weld adapters or hockey pucks for your jackstands.
Most pinch welds are stiff enough to sit cleanly on a flat-top jackstand, but ideally get an adapter.

A T post popper like this is really effective. The chain accessory is only for larger posts like 4x4. It has a built in bracket for catching the metal studs on the post. Might find a cheaper one, or find one locally at a farming store like Tractor Supply. Also might want a scrap piece of wood or brick etc. underneath if it sinks into the ground. Have used this for years with t posts for fencing and pulling small saplings. https://www.amazon.com/Hi-Lift-Jack-PP-300-Post-Popper/dp/B0017T3P28/
Hi-Lift Extreme, but I actually use the bottle jack and axle stands in the driveway for regular work.
Powerbuilt 620470 Unijack - 4000... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJJZ5YC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share This is the one I picked up. So far I love it. It has a a jack stand built in, so less chance of a failure.
Idea for a super hero team. We buy these and answer calls about shitty parkers. We just move the cars, so they can leave, but make it more glaringly block traffic, so HPD has to respond quicker.

This one is great! I have 02 sport, no lift and works great with room to spare
You can get rubber adapters for your jack stands to help prevent bending the pinch welds apart.

I've also seen guys use a length of unistrut along the pinch weld (the weld fits right inside the unistrut) and welded onto the jack or jack stand. There may be an actual purpose built adapter or jack stand that works that way.

yup. You need:
Don't even need a couple of friends if you can get some parking position dollies.

The car is quite heavy, so you need a decent jack for it.(two if you're rotating).
I currently use these pucks and go to a local tire store that charges $15 for rotation and air fill up. If I buy new tires through them it's free rotations and fill ups for the life of the tires.
Portable trolly jacks are a life saver, and can be had for pretty damn cheap. Amazon has this one for like $60
I have this dope little combo bottle jack + jackstand and it works great for servicing. I'll probably eventually grab another one to throw in the cavity in back under the picnic table because the stock scissor jack is such a pain. One of the reasons I bought it is because it has a full metal plate on the bottom so you can use it on dirt with no problems, other reason I got it is you can pre-extend the stand part to get more usable throw out of the bottle for lifting taller vehicles (I also have a Fnord Exploder).
Great little jack, used it several times this summer. A little big if you don't have a gen 1/2 with the vestigial spare tire cavity you can stash it away in though.
Go to your local auto parts store and get a small floor tack, like this one at amazon For what to carry here is a youtube. It a bit overkill IMO.
I have a spare compact jack in this style https://www.amazon.com/Powerbuilt-620471-6000Lb-Unijack/dp/B00GJJZ5NI/ref=sr_1_10?keywords=jack%2Bstand%2Blift&qid=1556896185&s=automotive&sr=1-10&th=1. I am going to weld a hitch onto the top, and attach it to the blower. Also, i am going to add a 3rd wheel in front possibly for tongue weight situations.
Another for the bottle jack.
I bought one of these and I keep it in the back with the spare tire. I've used it twice on my car and once on someone else's. It's worth every penny. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GJJZ5YC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_otXXFbBKC998Z?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Nothing a set of car dollies won't cure. I'm talking about these things https://smile.amazon.com/Dragway-Tools-Hydraulic-Positioning-Capacity/dp/B003W0F33O/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1544537172&sr=8-6&keywords=car+wheel+dolly+set+of+4
