Crickets or ants are a good idea. Crunchy, easy to obtain, and they don't taste that bad. Almost taste like potato chips.
No better source than straight from the horses mouth. :) I too went to private school in high school as the public schools in my town sucks as well. I went to Catholic school even though my parents raised me secular. Mom was Catholic, Dad was Anglican. It was either Catholic school or... Something more culty. Down here in the buckle of the bible belt, I've heard it all from religious nuts. You can't drive anywhere without passing no less than three churches. Even Kirk Cameron comes by every few years for guest speaking. That school I linked has some out there rules; girls can't wear pants, only ankle length skirts. No secular music. No marriage till 23 (even marked couples get suspended for holding hands on campus). The place is tighter than a Masonic Hall as there is no windows, and guards at the gates. I've known kids who got out of that school I linked completely unprepared for the real world, and have a hard time finding a job since it's not an accredited school. I guess it's why I enjoy those reviews so much, and got curious enough to ask the question. Thanks for your answer, and look forward to the rest of Musical March. :). If you're looking for new things to try (these)[ https://www.amazon.com/Jones-Soda-Limited-Holiday-Turkey/dp/B00FMFRCR2] make for good holiday entertainment.] ;)
I've ordered a Japanese assorted snack box off of Amazon - something like THIS
I thought it was worth it. There's quite a few different sellers and options
Not Keemun at all, but i recently got an inexpensive Taiwan Ruby 18 from Amazon that has a strong aroma of cocoa in the dry leaf. It's decent tea for the price.
I’ve tried them a few times but honestly I just don’t like the taste of the actual chips/seasoning that paqui uses.
I have since transitioned to pouring these reaper, scorpion, or ghost pepper powders I got as a gift over Doritos. If you pour enough on it They end up being WAY hotter than anything paqui puts out and tastes better too.
Sounds like a great week! A fun joint gift would be a box that has different snacks in it! The kids can all try the different options together and talk about what they like and don’t like.
Cameron Tea (their competition-grade version is superlative), Wang Family Tea, Old Taiwan Tea, and ironically enough this one on Amazon which is good enough to be near the top of my list. We also got this one today - I haven't had a chance to try it but it looks promising.
I've gotten this one a lot. They have a bunch of different sizes and varieties. Some have full size bags and drinks
Here buy yourself some and thank me later. If you're intentionally drowning food like this in garlic, you're missing a pillar of flavor and compensating with garlic.
Ever wonder why Doritos, Pringles, Campbell's soup, Cheetos, and other similar products taste so fucking good? It's MSG. Add a little to your cooking and people will be singing your praises for generations.
I used to think food needed garlic like this. Then I discovered the absolute mindblowing magic of cooking with MSG that I have been deprived of because racists didn't want Chinese restaurants run by Chinese people in their communities.
She is not vegan but vegetarian. There is a big difference. Anyway it fits perfectly to vegetarian (and vegan as it is plant based) diet so it is more a detail than a flaw.
Hijacking top comment: sodium citrate. You will thank me later. Use it to turn any cheese into an ooey gooey melty fantasy.

If he's a black tea fan I have a couple of suggestions:
If it needs to get to you soon I might suggest this Taiwanese Ruby 18 on Amazon. Surprisingly it's of comparable quality to those I get directly from very good Taiwanese sources at the World Tea Expo and elsewhere. My wife and I like it enough that we've re-ordered it a few times.
Similarly, here's a [well-priced Yunnan golden needle] that is extremely sweet, rich, and malty, also on Amazon. That one we like enough that I've ordered it four times in the past year, mostly because we gave so much of it away to our friends.
So there is a growing number of advocates and businesses that are pushing antenatal sources of protein to combat climate change and reduce methane emissivity from raising animals for meat.
I just found these flavored roasted crickets on Amazon and my immediate reaction was 😵💫🤢🤮
Would you try it consider reading BBQ crickets?
If you want something unusual and very fragrant, try a higher-end Taiwanese Sun Moon Lake Ruby 18 black tea. The good ones have an indescribable floral/woody/almost fruity scent and taste that is very unique. Here's one that's much better than I would have expected.
Pshh! You're probably the sort of person who just eats a traditional Thanksgiving dinner instead of drinking your way through the Jones Holiday Soda Pack.
Spice Supreme M.S.G. Monosodium Glutamate, plastic shaker, 4.25-oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009ERCFGM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_YKEK2DN3RRKRSDY1S9R2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
It exists. Supermarkets may not have it all the time or it may be in a different section then you are expecting. It's used more frequently in Asian cuisines so it might be in that section.
There can be a few gems found here and there on Amazon. Perhaps my favorite "too good to be on Amazon" tea is this Taiwanese Sun Moon Lake Ruby 18 black tea. Its quality rivals some of the best I've found at the World Tea Expo.
I have a three pack set of powdered peppers; Carolina reaper, ghost pepper, and scorpion chilli. All are super spicy with no other flavor. So they don't interfere with your recipe. They just amp up the heat. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U5I01LA/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_EZB476AF87SF3B513DW3?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
There are a lot of great black teas out there that would make great gifts, but most wouldn't get there before Christmas. However, Amazon has a vendor that carries a really great quality Taiwanese Ruby 18 Sun Moon Lake black tea that is oddly high grade for Amazon. I've bought a box there several times as it's one a favorite of my wife's and it is as good (and cheaper) than Ruby 18 blacks we bought directly from Taiwanese tea vendors at the World Tea Expo. I recommend few teas from Amazon, but this one I have no problem suggesting wholeheartedly. Very gift-worthy.
You can buy cricket bites from Amazon.
Ok, this is by far the easiest and best way. Go to Amazon.com and buy this https://www.amazon.com/Its-Just-Emulsifier-Spherification-Preserve/dp/B07Q7111C9
Add milk to sauce pan and put on medium heat. Add Sodium citrate. When the milk is hot, but not scalded, add the cheese and mix until it turns into cheesey goodness. Approximately 7 minutes. Pour mixture over the pasta.
Here is a video showing how simple it is. It's not how I do it, but you will get the idea of how simple it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTbdvND_YLQ
Sodium citrate isn't some weird chemical, it's a salt used in food preservation and cheese making. You can even make it at home, just put "how to make sodium citrate at home" into youtube.
Channel your inner Walter White with this DIY hot sauce!!
Food should be fun!!!! That looks cool, I'm from the UK but can't find it on the .co.uk website. That being said, I doubt I'd be able to handle it being too spicy. I'll stick to sour cream!!
I'm a fan of good Sun Moon Lake Ruby 18 as well. It's hard to find a similar flavor profile produced elsewhere as the cultivar is very, very specific (Ruby 18 is a cross of an Assamica cultivar and a Taiwanese native Camellia Formosensis bush).
Last year my wife bought many versions from Amazon to see if there was anything worthwhile there. While most were predictable lackluster, we did run across one that was surprisingly good - comparable to the best we've had directly from good Taiwanese exporters. It's the option marked "Red Jade 18." We've re-purchased it several times, which I can't say we've done with other Amazon teas.
Sure can. Here it is. I've liked it enough to buy it twice now in the last six months, a rarity for me, particularly considering it's an Amazon retailer and a Prime option (which for tea frequently means tea stored in an overly-hot warehouse for an unknown length of time).
