An actual sunsleeve would be better. Sunscreen breaks down after 2 hours of sunlight, that's why the bottle tells you to reapply. A big hat to protect your head and neck. I'm not worried about getting sunburned, skin cancer is no joke.
They look like arm warmers but are made from the same material as underarmor, there’s a vast selection of them on Amazon, they come in a lot of fun colors too https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073TVN384/ they’ll feel a little warm at first but once you sweat or get them wet any breeze will make them feel chilly.
Outfit? No i meant just sleeves
Something like this https://www.amazon.com/SportsTrail-Sleeves-Women-Tatoo-Cover/dp/B07C4YJYY2/ref=sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=Athletic+Sleeve&qid=1608455598&sr=8-2
If anyone is interested. I use these that I found on Amazon. They work great. I only buy them in white as they tend to be a bit cooler than other colors and also match with any outfit that I'm wearing. https://www.amazon.com/Protection-Cooling-Arm-Sleeves-Activities/dp/B073TW7CR1/ref=pd_bap_rp_2/141-5968752-5556816?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B073TW7CR1&pd_rd_r=2679b68e-c102-4cab-a408-86d22f86398e&pd_rd_w=VcvhP&pd_rd_wg=M94Fz&pf_rd_p=3dad8606-079a-4e44-a2b6-9e295e1b470c&pf_rd_r=R3624DPQV1KXYKFN25AP&psc=1&refRID=R3624DPQV1KXYKFN25AP
Amazon has a bunch of sleeves...its a matter of finding the one that will cover it. Maybe this one
Do you have a picture of that tattoo? To see the size?
When he is training in a short sleeve shirt, my son will just slip on some compression sleeves like these. That way he gets protection but it is cooler than an undershirt.
I don't think covering up tattoos is necessary (unless he's worried about the tats themselves), but if he insists on doing something I've been using UV Sun Sleeves and have been very happy with them. Based on the tan-lines I've been getting at my wrist the sun protection works and if there is any sort of breeze the "cooling" really does feel nice.
I bought them as more of a sunscreen (sun is very intense at this altitude!) but I'm sure they'd provide some warmth as well.

They are very stretchy and comfortable!
Black would be good because a lot of people do the Black sleeves. You can get some on Amazon because the ones I had were these.

But I would get a few pairs. Also not to my knowledge no one would be mad if you wore the white depending on your role.
I have 2 of those jackets from the same company, with hoods. I live in a hot climate though so in the summer I use uv sleeves with my t shirt, similar to these (not the compression type though) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B073TWJ7LL
Have you heard of arm sleeves before? I bought some a while ago and they are absolutely amazing. They go from your wrist all the way up to your shoulder and they are so breathable! It practically feels like you are wearing nothing. This is the link if you want them.
These are the ones I bought and I like them but I will probably also be trying another pair because I saw some that extend to the hand and have a little thumb hole.

I would recommend something like these sleeves on Amazon. These are used by cyclist to protect their arms from the sun and they are great because you can just take them off once you’re done using them and you don’t have to carry around an entire shirt. They are also very cool in and are good in hot locations supposedly.

It seems like I’m in the minority, but I wore my wedding dress for my temple wedding and have absolutely zero regrets. I love that I have a wedding dress and a separate temple dress. This particular dress is going to have issues with the sleeves probably, but my recommendation is to get something like these sun protection sleeves instead of a jacket so you don’t cover up the rest of the dress. I did bustle my train for the ceremony.
I don't have any recommendations for long sleeve shirts, but I do advise these! I bought them about 3 months ago I believe and they are extremely breathable! You can still wear T-shirts with these since they go practically almost up to the shoulder
try to swear more loose fitted long sleeves! that’s what i do, or i try to bandage it and wear a sleeve! i got my sleeve on amazon, i got mine in black so that it would be less noticeable, ill link the sleeves for you— https://www.amazon.com/dp/B085T7121M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_i_D9GN13DSXPR6YVQ80RFM
These are what I bought and am still actively using and they are so breathable it's ridiculous!! I'd recommend the black pair because if blood stains end up getting on them, then it will be much harder to tell
I have seen a few peoples SH. I usually wear sweatshirts, but I dont typically care if people see my scars. If I wear a short sleeve, and I dont want to draw attention I just put an athletic sleeve on.
i have THESE sleeves and like them when i'm out for a long time in the sun. they also make a leg version but i have not used them.
What about wearing an arm warmer? Interesting to hear about I have a metal allergy but most of the time have long sleeves on.
i got these last year and they work well
What about an athletic arm sleeve? https://smile.amazon.com/Protection-Anti-Slip-Compression-Football-Basketball/dp/B085T7121M

I think it's worth since it reduces friction of my arm against the pad. Also, I think it helps with durability of my mousepad since my arm/part of my wrist can't get dead skin or sweat on the pad.
I got this Nike Dri-Fit sleeve which is great. Materials are 80% polyester, 14% spandex, 6% rubber (link here) The texture is the same for both sides. It can probably help with warmth but idk since the weather is still pretty warm where I live. It doesn't make me sweat or overheat though, so maybe it won't help you much with warmth
I have UV sleeves that I got on amazon. They’re usually about $8 or $9 and they go all the way up to my shoulders. Just looks like you’re wearing a tight undershirt.
A sleeve is perfect for being outdoors! I use these from Amazon which are rated UPF 50 (the clothing equivalent of SPF). I've done a few 5-6 hour hikes with close to no shade and have not been burned at all. And I am SUPER anal about protecting my art from those damn UV rays.
If you're extra anxious, you could put sunscreen underneath as well. But IMO the best part of sleeves is that they're low maintenance. You don't have to reapply anything every couple hours.
*Also, although the sleeves I linked are all UPF 50, darker colors like black are generally better at absorbing UV Rays better so that's the color I use. I own the white ones too and they work just fine, but it bugs me that I can see a silhouette of my ink through them if I look closely enough. Makes me a little doubtful.
