This carrying case. It's good because the zipper pocket can hold the joycon bumpers, ear buds, and my 3DS. And the game holder slots are big enough that I can bring a few 3DS games as well as a few Switch games.
I went with a 32 GB SD card which is about 3/4ths full at this point. Gonna upgrade at some point but it's fine for now.
No idea about battery door, but I bought a new screen trim from Amazon.

This is the one I got. It's 12.99 on Amazon and it has places for your games and joycons/charger and stuff. It feels really sturdy.
Good to hear! It sounded a little worrying when you said you felt like the walking dead. I have a basic case like this that fulfills my needs perfectly. I can just shove it in my messenger bag along with everything else. What you are considering could also be useful for Steam Deck users too. Maybe ask communities that use that as well.
I got these. They are relatively cheap, easy to install and have a good fit. In the reviews some people got problems with the touch screen apparently but I can't confirm.
[3 Pack] amFilm Screen Protector... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TPF6NQ8?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I like these ones. I have no issues with touch sensitivity using these and I have a 512 version. I'd rather have the extra protection, and it does not distort my image at all.
Yes - this
I have noticed however that you need to press down a tiny bit harder when typing with the on-screen keyboard, otherwise the letter might not register
No, I’m talking about the individual Gameboy printer. You had to buy it and plug it into the console. When I was a kid, I was too poor to ever set foot in a Target anyway.
I've always had really good luck with the amFilm tempered glass. They're glossy, but inexpensive, crystal clear, and easy to install. I've used the on my phones and Switch consoles.
This one doesn't say that anywhere. Out of curiosity I checked the Magglass listing and it doesn't say it either that I can see. But I do see a question that was asked about why it said it wasn't compatible so maybe it was removed from the listing.

This is the amFilm that is glossy.
This is the Magglass that is matte.
I should be getting the Magglass tomorrow. From the multiple reviews I have seen the size of it has been corrected so it covers the entire screen. Now only if I can get a matte protector for my OLED Switch. Been looking for one for a long time.
Gameboy and Gameboy Color are essentially the same thing, they are not really different consoles while some games would only work in "color" on the GBC.
GBC (1998) came out at basically the end of the GameBoy's (1989) life cycle with the GBA coming out in 2003.
To me this would be like separating GB from the GameBoy Light which had sharper resolution and was backlit. https://www.amazon.com/Game-Boy-Light-Japanese-Video-System/dp/B003XGYZHW
since the glass is already etched you just get a clear glass screen protector. If I decide I don't like Anti-Glare I was going to go for this one:

I bought a cheap $12 trade link cable off of Amazon but if I'm being real with you the cable was super spotty and only worked when it wanted too. But it still worked nonetheless

Hey!
I went with the amFilm one mainly just because it served my two Switches very well over the years.

As far as the touch goes, everything has been just fine with it! I do have the dBrand ones ordered too, so I may swap them out when those come in or at some point if I feel the need.
I got this one and it worked just fine.
I can't compare it to any other Steam Deck screen protector, but it worked just fine for me.
Another commenter suggested DBrand. I have no personal experience with this brand.
I got this one and it worked just fine.
Sure, but the original Game Boy ("DMG" model) used a larger connection than the later Game Boy Pocket and Color models, so you'll need to get an adapter or buy a multi cable that has both sizes. Many kinds can be found cheap on eBay, Mercari, Facebook Marketplace, etc.
I'm using this. Thinking of gluing 2 pieces of foam on the corners, because the Odin might slide around a bit

Here is one switch case that a Reddit user suggested. And another guy on Reddit said a switch lite case was too small. I’m trying to get consensus on this. Here is the exact item that was suggested to fit well.

This is the one I use for trading gen 1 on GBAs. The GBA only link cable didn’t work with the gen 1s for me, but this has the port for gba and works with Gen 1.
Actually, I can think of one option I've seen other people say is good for the money: -

I have never tried them, so I don't know if the sound quality will live up to your expectations, but the user reviews are excellent on average.
I recommend this one. Little more bang for your buck. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0711K97BS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You'll get your money's worth out of the $1000 headset from flying just fine. In the grand scheme of things, an extra $40 for a gaming-specific headset won't break the bank and will work better anyways.
(Disclaimer: I have both a $1000 headset and this exact gaming headset, and am very happy with this set-up/combination)
Amazon has a great selection bought this one for my son and he loves it so far. https://www.amazon.ca/VersionTECH-Professional-Cancelling-Playstation-Smartphones/dp/B00PUMKFLC/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=gaming+headset&qid=1567461006&s=gateway&sprefix=gaming&sr=8-4
HyperX CloudX Stinger Core is pretty good, it's $40 on Amazon.
